The situation here is not such to be joked with. Mama should also resist any urge to eat what is not acceptable to her system.

Mark my words here. If you don't take adequate care of this BP, Diabetes combo, death would snatch her any moment. Let your wife still be your wife and learn to forgive her wholeheartedly but make sure you put up certain control mechanism. Another thing you have to consider is - the disease runs in the family. You have to start taking care of yourself so that you can at least live as long as your mama has lived. Pray that God sees her through. This is really painful. RIP brother! People are traveling to London to strike a pose with our politicians in the hospital. In Jimi Disu's voice " it is insensitive and insulting to the masses". All our doctors are employed in the UK and Saudi Arabia and the remaining ones here are on strike. It does worry our leaders at all. Sometimes I wonder what our legislators are doing in the upper and lower houses. Plans are underway to elect or select another set leaders for another term. Where did we get it wrong in this country? Church owned schools are expensive so are the other privately owned institutions. Government schools would make things rough by engaging in strike actions and yet people laugh and think all is well. I suggest they introduce women in politics at all levels of governance.

A 22yr old is supposed to live alone if her parents died in an accident. That is not how it is meant to be. She is a calm person that is why she wants to leave alone. Tell that to younger generations to come. Any time a lady is demanding for independence, she has some skeleton in her cupboard. Why are you campaigning for her? What is your own business in the whole matter?.
If you are the one, why not come out openly to seek for advice. Let me now tell you the grave consequences.

1. Too much frolicking would set it.
2. Prospective males friends would have a lee way to come visiting
3. Attack from devil in form of temptation would be in for her
4. No serious suitor would approach for her hand in marriage if she is seen staying alone
5. The Landlord that would agree to give her accommodation would think she is a prostitute
6. Some of her friends would approach her to squat with her thereby entertaining more noise
7. Undue expenditure which she would ordinarily be used to help her noise making siblings at home

Conclusively, if she wants to stay alone, she should either rent a new place for her parents and some of her siblings or get a place and take some of her siblings if she must move. Tell her to be patient, there will come a time when she has loneliness to contend with in life.

What I know is that everyone in this administration and/or ones in the past would give account of their reason, observations, remarks, actions, inactions someday to the new generations. This country sef... Integrity, regression and stress tests are done by the Software Engineers to evaluate the codes used and minimize bugs in software. The lecturers claim they have been using this software for sometime, how come they(lecturers) are agreeing that it hasn't passed the integrity test? This is something that would have been done before the software solution provider rolls out the solution. So, the federal govt is saying that students would have to stay at home while the test is being carried out. On the other hand, they are saying that no hardware is available for the software. Is it Biometrics, data capturing machine and servers that are so expensive to purchase to drive this operations? If private sector participants procure huge solutions to run their business, why can't the government invest in whatever would make life easy even for our youths. One day, we all will give account of what we have used our position of authority to do for mankind. Time will tell!!!

That's what you get in a country of misguided priorities. My only worry is what our decendants would ask us in the future. Gone are the days when we prayed for our leaders. If they don't know what they are doing, how did they become leaders? If they know what they are doing their punishment would definitely hit them.

See Africa!!! The more Africa tries to come close to the level of the West, the more her leaders draw them back further. The people that sold democracy didn't tell us about the college electoral votes. Imagine the young men having to sleep at the Airport. Why did we get it wrong?

Then, last year while doing the job, the university commenced recruitment which was very massive, but underground. God being so faithful, I was able to graduate from the masters program at the time and she kept promising to help me push my cv for employment. I came out as the best postgraduate student in my department with the highest FCGPA.

You came out top of you class and you haven't even looked inwards to know what you could do. Who says trolling along lecturing career was you were brought to do in this world? What if you'd not make it as a lecturer? Have you asked the Almighty God about your case as a human being. It is because you have idolized that woman, that you are left to be at her beck and call. When challenges seem to weigh you down, it is wise to seek God's direction in any/every thing you do. Car manufacturers sell cars with direction to use and maintain. The entire earth belongs to God.God Almighty gave us the bible and his servants to contact anytime things go wrong. I didn't get any part where you consulted God to help out in the whole arrangement.

Now, let me guide you through it all.
1. First ask God to forgive you for neglecting his approval in the entire process.
2. Tell Him to guide you with HIS Right Hand of righteousness by fasting and praying
3. Fast for 3days (6am - 6pmg) begining from Moday through to Wednesday. Don't sleep on your bed on these days and night
4. Wake up by 12:30am on the first day and pray on this Point "Every limit imposed on me by enemies catch fire and die IJN -AMen" and pray till 2am
5. Wake up by 1:00am on Tuesday the second day on this point "Witchcraft spirits of delays and denial in every area of my life die by fire IJN -Amen till 2:30am
6. Wake up by 1:30am on Wednesday the third and last day "Evil voice/directions/commandment in my life I command you to shut up and die IJN -Amen" and do this till 3:00 am

Today, I told my wife to start feeding our 18 month old son sma baby milk once a day so he could take in all the necessary nutrients from the milk since he was never breast fed.

Note: he eats cerelac in the morning, yoghurt at 12 noon, Eba/Amala at 4pm and cerelac again in the night. I mentioned to her to find a way to feed him sma milk at least once a day but instead she started arguing with me.

What do i do?

Free the woman abeg... pickin wey go grow go still grow. What of people that never saw their mothers? What of people whose parents can't afford SMA or Cerelac? Nothing matters in this world. You would just pray that God sustains you to bring money to the house. Try your very best and leave the rest for the others. Remember, if you die, everyone would forget you ever existed. The children would grow and your wife might remarry... and life goes on!!!

Why are you guys blaming the young man, is he not some lady that accepted him to be her husband. Does the lady not have parents or relatives who supported her to go on with him?
The wife and the kids are not his problem but his inability to get hooked with something before settling down. So, if one is dragged in my the life's web, he should wait till when he is off it and settle down then. Who knows what tomorrow brings? We all live by hope and the hope if structured well leads us get something substantial. Back to marriage, though society demands one should get married at some point in their lives, the truth of the matter is that we must bring someone here before we leave. I know many people that are not married that can not feed themselves. Life woes come to everyone in one way or to other. I encourage people to marry and procreate and leave a legacy behind. He who must die must die regardless of whether married or not.
When we reach the age of walking as babies, we start walking...

There was a time I needed a little assistance for a little project, that was when I knew that this life can be funny. If I tell A, he would say, he didn't have; If I tell B, she would say, "If you had asked me last week". What if it was a life-and-death need by now I would have gone.

I have this family friend who is a single mother of one. She called last week to ask for my assistance and that she is losing her mind. I tried to ask her if she has complained to her husband. She bluntly told me they are no more that they are filing documentations for proper divorce. I told her there and then that the trauma she is experiencing could be as a result of fail(ing)ed marriage. I tried to make her understand that emotions attached to marriage is so strong that they can make anyone (both male and female) feel depressed when it is no longer working like planned (being married for over a decade myself). Rewind back in 2017, her husband left for the East to get a job (People come to the west to look for greener pasture and his is the other way round). I asked why she agreed to that unwholesome decision at the detriment of her young son (she said it was for interest of her family. Then, I would often call her to ask about Oga, all I got was that he was OK. It was when I knew that something was going wrong. This lady is working with the new generation bank.

In all she tried to convince me that the doctors say it's depression and diabetes. OK. Please go to the hospital and try follow the doctrines of managing diabetes and bounce back to health. She calls me to ask if I know any pastor that could help her and that she is sensing it is spiritual. I try as much as possible to encourage her that everything will be Ok if she prays harder.

She sounds troubled always and I think she is not having a peaceful life? I have read stories of how people complain to their loved ones how they feel and after a while they either take their own lives or kill people around them. Mental illness is a very serious thing in Nigeria.
Does anyone know what she can do to get better? Whatever advice you give can help out at this time matters so much to other reading this. We don't want to lose anyone in the fight against mental illness.
