This is funny.... The Gaidom backed APC are relying on court order.. Now they are going against the court order that is not in their favour.... The state High court ruled that Ima Aguma should be the CTC chairman of the party in Rivers, what is expected of them is to approach the court to set aside the ruling.

Won’t there be Appeal committee? Or I’m missing something?

There will be serious implosion after the primary because I can see that PDP have it planned to send Obaseki’s name to INEC irrespective of the primary election outcome, reason why the election will be hold 2 days to the deadline. No room for the contestants to appeal after the Romany election.

As usual the wailing wailers, won't see this until after Obaseki is removed as Gov & the petitioner sworn in, they will, start shouting Supreme court Gov.

If PDP field Obaseki as their flag bearer I see serious legal battle ahead.
He joined the party after the timeline for purchase of nomination form and screening has closed. This alone can be contest in court and if it goes against the primary election timeline the court will have no choice than to rule him ineligible to participate.
And one of the contestant might explore this avenue in future.

The Order he signed didn’t give room for anything like impromptu gathering. He has gone against his law and I don’t think he can stop others from going against it also. Not when he’s not in control of the police.
The APC primary is not going to be hold in a stadium. It will be hold in all the 192 polling wards. PDP will gather more than 5,000 inside the stadium for her primary. They will travel from all their base to Benin. The Governor should pratice what he’s preaching.

The CP was wrong trying to stop the movement of the Deputy Governor, and the higher authority should punish the CP to prove that this is not supported by them.
But WIKE is not the right person to cry victim in 2014 same WIKE spearheaded the same thing against Amaechi who was the Governor then. During one of Wike’s campaign in 2015 he boasted of how all land,air and sea borders will be closed in Rivers state once INEC declared GEJ the winner of the election, so that Amaechi won’t escape all he did to GEJ.

Federal High Court in Rivers State lacks the Jurisdiction to Sack to Mr. Giadom because same Federal High Court has already extended his stay.

except the High Court in Rivers is standing on the suspension of interim order by the Suprem Court .

But which ever way lets wait and see.

For me, i thinkl that Mr. Giadom will win this.

Don’t get it twisted. The case in Rivers state is between Gaidom and the state party. The state party said he resigned to contest as deputy governorship candidate. And the party has not present his name to the NWC as the candidate for the post he’s claiming.

10 were inuaguarated, other 4 joined that makes them 14. The election is a win for Obaseki so no cause for alarm.

9 were inaugurated and 1 joined them later. Even Obaseki himself said it last week that 14 were not inaugurated.

This OP is funny... Edo state House of Assembly has 24 seats and presently only 10 are inaugurated.. So where did the Op see 14?
Mind you not all the LGA chairmen will follow the Governor to PDP.

pdp should thread carefully with obaseki and his deputy. you shouldn't allow a stranger to totally dominate your house, especially if such person has track records of backbiting & betrayals. one other thing i noticed is that people are making this Edo saga looks as if pdp can't do well without obaseki. I think he is the one that needs pdp most at this stage, not the other way around.

At the bolded. It is only our online voters that think PDP can’t do better in the election without Obaseki. If PDP should give the 2 slots to Oba and his Deputy, then expect serious internal crises in Edo PDP.
