If by monday Oshiomhole gets stay of execution from the supreme court what will Gaidom be saying. The ruling he is relying on was made when there was no Deputy National Chairman from South, but now that there is someone in that position Gaidom can't claim He is the most senior in the NWC.

Gaidom should know that Whatever Oshiomhole has done before yesterdays Appeal court ruling still stands...

Don't get it twisted.. I spoke against Obaseki's unappreciating attitude towards Oshiomhole and the party as a whole... As it stands now Obaseki is still the one that will lose more because by Monday Oshiomhole will approach the Supreme Court for stay of execution and once that is granted He will come back as the party chairman. While obaseki's disqualification stands. No difference between Ajimobi and Oshiomhole.

So he had post secondary education and some people here said he’s just a tailor without certificate.
I’m not supporting him because they’re all the same. But I think we the youth of this country need to stop taking everything we heard from this politicians serious.

What I think may happen is Obaseki submitting his resignation letter to his faction of the APC, which faction cannot ordinarily convey it to the NWC, since it's not recognized.

Could this limbo — if it comes to that — be a legal albatross on Obaseki's neck as he joins another party?

Or Obaseki could simply swallow his pride, submit his resignation letter to the faction recognized by their NWC, and be free of potential legal obstacles and landmines in that regard. His call.

The supreme court ruled that A candidate can not participate in 2 primaries.. Obaseki has started the primary process with the APC. Now let us see the party he will partake in the 2nd primary.

Obaseki should not make the mistake of forgetting to write the Party before he declare for another party.
Also we want to see if all his cabinet members will follow him.

Where are those supporting Obaseki? How can you anticipate the actions of 14 people that they want to impeach him?
This shows that Obaseki is a tyrant and I can't wait for PDP to give him the Automatic ticket.

APC didn’t give PMB automatic ticket. There was no other candidate that bought the form and even at that there was congress at the ICC in Abuja where a voice proclamation was held and all available there confirm his candidature. In 2014 PDP did the same thing to GEJ. Obaseki’s issue is difference because there are others that bought form and participate in the primaries which Obaseki won’t be part of. There will be litigation immediately PDP will hand over the ticket to Obaseki.

We still remember the time when 16 is greater than 19. Wike was part of those supporting the lawlessness back then.

LASTLY I made the Uduaghan comparison because he didn’t need to be deputy governor for Uduaghan to succeed James Ibori. and let me ask you - HOW MANY DEPUTY GOVERNORS DONYIU KNOW THAT ACTUAY SUCCEED THEIR BISS TO BECOME GOVERNOR? May be one or two instances in a democracy that has lasted 21 years so even without the drama at APC it won’t have been easy for Shuaibu to succeed Obaseki because he is from Edo North where Oshomole is from and Obaseki is from Edo South so Edo Central (Esan ) was supposed to present the next Governor for the APC.

That is politics and NOT all positions are beneath a person. Positions are to serve the people not to serve your ego so someone can be a Senator today and tomorrow become a state commissioner and next he becomes a State Governor and then a Minister (dont you know being a minister is actually a downgrade from being a governor ?) yes it is

that was why Kayode Fayemi resigned as a federal minister to contest to become Governor of Ekiti State


so should former governors Amaechi and Fasola now resign because they were downgraded to ministerial positions ? heck no - it’s about service to the people and not ego!

I understand your point.. But As it stands now if Obaseki drop Shuaibu, He will surely lose some supports.

If Obaseki wins as Governor from another party and the adopted party insist that one of their own is made the deputy governor, then Phillip Shuaibu can be made the Secretary to State Government and Head of Service - that is even more powerful than the office of the deputy governor because he is directly in charge of the state civil service and so many other important functions that even the deputy governor is not privy to- so how will he lose out in the actual sense ?

Do not forget that the last position Emmanuel Uduaghan held in the James Ibori administration before becoming Governor of Delta State after Ibori was not the deputy Governor of Delta State, BUT Secretary to State Government and Head of Service. Shuaibu has a bright future because he has shown the same type of Loyalty Goodluck Jonathan had for Deprieye Alamaseigha when Obasanjo was causing the same mayhem in Bayelsa State in 2005 folllowinf the arrest of Alamaseigha in London- Obasanjo was trying to use Federal night to prevail on Jonathan to take over from Alamaseigha but Jonathan was loyal to his Boss, Alamaseigha - unknown to Jonathan, Obasanjo was so impressed by that loyalty (which he was not getting from his own VP Atiku)


guess what, the following year 2006, he made sure Jonathan (a political nobody in federal politics of Nigeria ) to clinch the VP spot at the PDP convention by overlooking political heavyweights like Peter Odili, George Akume and even former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim


so don’t feel sorry for Shuaibu, than man will go places- because great leaders are never product of weak compromises but steadfast and courageous actions!

When PMB wanted to merge CPC with ACN in 2014 he came with the idea of having Tunde Bakare as his running mate, the ACN turned it down and insist on producing the VP.. PMB has no choice than to drop Bakare..

The same certificate APC cleared for him in his first term. Oshiomhole hated and fought godfatherism, why is he fighting hard to pick who will replace Obaseki. Oshiomhole is a fraud and I wish Obaseki wins to shame the midget.

Obaseki was screened by the NWC headed by John Oyegun. The fault is theirs, also he tendered sworn affidavit.

If someone had told Obaseki in January that he will be running around begging the opposition parties to contest under their party by June. He won’t take such prophecy serious shuaibu is going to be the biggest loser. It will get to a point Obaseki will trade him for his ambition.

The affidavit sworn by Obaseki in 2016 shows he graduated in 1976 and the certificate shows 1979. Also for someone who claimed to have served the country in the 80s to have his name wrongly spelled and didn’t do anything to correct it, shows there’s something wrong somewhere.
The panel said there’s difference in the certificate he presented with the one another candidate presented and they both graduated same year.

Please Is it a certificate screen by apc in 2016 or a new certificate ?

He submitted sworn affidavit (Which the federal high court denied issuing) that he lost all his original certificates..... In 2020 those Certificates resurfaced and there are some discrepancies.. For example the Affidavit he sworn in 2016 says he graduated in 1976 but the certificate carries 1979. The NYSC certificates reads OBASEK while the Uni reads OBASEKI and he didn't do anything to correct the error for over 20 years that he has been issued the certificate.
