It’s a shame that this old man and most supporting him here comparing Ambode’s saga with this are funny. Ambode contested the primary and lost. While Obaseki was disqualified for presenting certificates he can’t defend.
Ambode is loyal to his party and he accept the defeat in good faith.

In 2016 Obaseki presented court affidavit that he lost his original credentials.. In 2020 the lost documents resurfaced with so many discrepancies.. APC don't want to lose like Bayelsa.

If he is not qualified to contest in one party then he is not qualified to contest in any party. Or are the qualifications different for different parties? The question we should be asking is how did he escape disqualification in the first elections. If truely his certificates are not authentic then INEC has to explain what happened in the first election that he was not disqualified. Furthermore, if his certifiedcate is 'fake' then he should cease from continuing as governor forthwith. Finally, if APC says he is not qualified after presenting him as a qualified candidate then it puts a question mark on APC's sincerity and intergrity and they can not be trusted to present a candidate with correct certificate. It only means that every of their APC's candidate cannot be trusted. My humble submission. All Nigerian politicians need JESUS if not things will never change. God bless.

In 2016 He submitted his SSCE and affidavit that his certificates got lost. But in 2020 those Certificates resurfaced with discrepancies. The NYSC carries Obasek while the Uni carries Obaseki. Where I have issue with him is that all this years he didn’t approach NYSC for the correction. Now we want to see how PDP will correct that mistake that it won’t hurt them back.

From our political history, it is clear that a successor to a governor always fight to break free from him and become his own boss. Some succeed while some fail. At the end, we will know Obaseki's fate.

I will first write NYSC to issue me another certificate that will show my name spell correctly. If he go to another party to contest and by mistake he win (which is not possible). All the second place need to do is go to court and get him removed with the discrepancies on his certificate. NYSC carries Obasek and Uni certificate carries Obaseki.
I think he should stay out in APC and support anybody that emerge, so that he can still have some political relevance.
People comparing his case with Benue are missing something. Ortom didn’t have face off with any of the party hierarchy like Obaseki did.
Benue election came during the general election and APC attention was divided in to more than 30 states. But in September APC will focus all its attention on Edo. Let us remember what happened to Fayose and his candid in Ekiti.

They tried making local government and ward executives of the state to dump obaseki but they all kept refusing which is why they made sure he doesn't even participate in the primaries

You’re dreaming. Obaseki and the2 others were disqualify because they don’t even want them in the race. Obaseki should go to another parry and contest to let us see how popular he is.

You don't know that Obaseki is alone in this case.. Those Party excos supporting him will not decamp with him... They will rather beg Oshiomhole to retain their position in APC than follow Obaseki to another party and become just a party member.

If you’re not stupid or senseless you should be able to counter what I posted about the court affidavit Obaseki presented in 2016. You and your co travelers have pushed him into the pit you pushed Saraki,Atiku and co into.

Obaseki submitted a court Affidavit in 2016 that his credentials got lost. 2020 the credentials resurfaced with some discrepancies. His released NYSC certificate reads OBASEK and his Uni Certificate has OBASEKI. That alone will make the court remove him like the case in Bayelsa.
