Oshiomhole may not be a good person I am not fighting for him but you asking who is Oshiomole in Edo North is like saying who is WIKE in his senatorial district. Last election only Oshiomhole won his senatorial district in all the elections. Obaseki couldn’t win his LGA and Senatorial district for APC. September is here and we shall see if you’re right or wrong.

And the PDP will give the 2 of them the slots? It’s very simple if Obaseki think Shuaibu will defeat Oshiomhole in Edo North, then Obaseki should step down for the PDP candidate.

I think Oshiomhole know that having Iyamu against APC is too dangerous the reason they brought him from PDP. Just Imagine Ize-Iyamu, Odubu, Oshiomhole, Obazee, and co join forces together and the Federal power in their favour, that will be too much for any candidate PDP will be presenting.

To you this is not Direct primary? Did you read where they had congress to elect delegates? What they are doing is to make sure that the election on monday don't waste time.

How can a Court stop Constitutional process like election is what I don't get in the first place.. i think the NJC needs to look into activities of Judges in Edo, Rivers, Kano and FCT.. They're fond on giving useless order and Injunctions.

I get your point. But looking at the waiver given to Giadom too he hasn't been ratified also.. If he can claim the chairmanship without ratification, then what stops others who are in the same situation with him from claiming same.

Its not a new order....that exparte had expired...it was only extended.

Order 43 Rule 3(2) of the fct high court civil procedures act stipulates that exparte orders should not be 7 days and not more than 14 days.

You see reason I said the judiciary is not helping our democracy. There should be a law, All this exparte orders should not be giving without listening to the 2 parties.
Can we start praying that the Barrack boys should take over because we are not ready for democracy?

At the bolded is my Question. Seems like the court granting the order didn’t look at the party structure to know what to do.
APC will surely get stay of Execution on this order because only 3 NWC members are with Giadom. Now I’m seeing reasons Rivers people can’t trust the Ogonis with the Governorship seat.

Remember this high court is only enforcing the judgement upheld by appeal court..

So it is only the supreme Court who can issue stay of execution at this moment

Supreme Court hardly sits just to grant stay of execution....

You got it wrong the if APC approach the Appeal Court tomorrow the stay of Execution will be granted to vacate this order. This order is another case entirely different from the ruling given by the appeal court on Tuesday.

I heard about this letter first from the National Vice Chairman SW of the APC....who strongly said that those guys, Buni Giadom & co...didn't resign, they were given waivers.

For him to say that publicly...I knew something was wrong inside.

You’re right. But I’m expecting after Edo primary APC should suspend people like Giadom. The party need to make statement by punishing some errant party members.

Thanks for the clarification. Another thing is that the Supreme Court has ruled in the case of Nwosu vs APC. Court can not decide for parties how to conduct their primaries, and also who qualified to contest their primaries. All this problems is here because the President choose not to act as the leader of the party.
