Kindsoul55:
the pension deduction is a parameter of how much your gross salary will amount to, for it to be nearly doubled, indicates that your gross salary will also be nearly doubled. Ditto your net salary

If your theory is correct t then
A level 8 receiving 85k gross will receive 85×2 ≠170k gross at level 12.
Therfore it means that a level 8 step 3 that receives 81k gross will receive 81×2≠ 162k gross at level 12
After deduction only them knows how much will be net pay.

Let me start this piece with a common saying on social media. If you are in the habit of complaining people are stingy, it might be an indication that you are begging too much.
Well, much has been said about people in the United Kingdom being tight-fisted. To a large extent, I am of the opinion that this is true and could be attributed to some of the reasons explained below:

(1) Culture:
The United Kingdom just like most Western countries has embraced individualism. The system of every man for himself. In Africa, it is collectivism which simply means 'Let's do it as a family, let's grow together' You will hardly see the core Britons help each other financially. They will rather rely on credit facilities from banks, credit cards, and benefits to survive tough financial times. This is unlike Nigeria where 'billing' is almost cultural in the 21st century due to age-long systemic poverty.

(2) Littany of lies:
Some Nigerians are in the business of cooking up comprehensive and water-tight lies to extort money from their family members abroad. Personally, I have friends who have abandoned their WhatsApp accounts to avoid hearing countless touching stories from friends and acquaintances in Nigeria. To cope with the virus of lies, people in the UK have adopted a firewall to block all intrusions.

(3) Hustle is hard:
Life in the UK is historically difficult, and in recent times, things have gotten tougher for the 6th largest economy in the world due to the growing population, Brexit, COVID-19, and other issues. People work round the clock, under extreme weather conditions, to earn money and the cost of living is too high. As of 2020/2021, employees were chasing people for jobs. Two years later, the reserve is the case, even in the blue-collar jobs industry. So every penny counts. You don't want to make money only to play a Father Christmas to someone whose financial challenges might not be genuine.

(4) Taxes:
This topic doesn't require much explanation as this is a paramount issue in the UK. Any sort of comfort you enjoy in the country is taxed. It runs a service-based economy. I have seen people earn about £3,000 gross salary in a month and get a net pay of £2,300. Income tax, National Insurance, and pension deductions took about £750 which is more than the salary of a successful person in Nigeria. Rent, council tax, loan repayment, vehicle insurance, and others would further beat your take-home pay until it struggles to take you home in the end.

(5) Personality traits
Some people are naturally stingy. In fact, they even struggle to spend their own money on themselves. It appears they might be of the belief that the funds could be taken with them to the great beyond. I have a friend who has no record of helping anybody in the history of his life and he has no plan to turn a new leaf. People like these come to the UK and become hardened in the area of stinginess.

(6) People are broke:
If poverty in the world is being measured by raw cash and not access to food, the UK might be one of the poorest countries in Europe. Most people have to overwork, to the detriment of their health to make extra bucks. This is why some locals see the paper chase as a rat race and they prefer to stay unemployed and focus on benefits from the government. Furthermore, the housing crisis in the UK is real. As a family man, 70% of your monthly earnings easily go into accommodation costs. This makes life mentally stressful and frustrating.
Anyone looking from the outside is easily deceived by the glossy pictures, nice clothes, and lovely locations they see on social media. This set of people constitutes the 'God When Squad' - a popular faction in the Nigerian social media space.

Well, for better context of this issue for me.
2017 was when I started earning for the first time in my life (salary wise) and my parents kinda gave me a very soft landing.

And I became a gambler who liked betting. And I was actually winning! And I think it was nihilist funny enough had always advised me to always use low odds. And I did, I was a fairly high staker, 10k, 15k 20k with low odds like 5-10.
And I will mostly post them here. I think my posts were what ignited the debates about gambling on the thread at that time.

Here are some of them then. You can see the amounts staked and then the balance in my bet accounts then.

Now, when you see these , you take note that I was wildly inexperienced with money, in terms of how to spend it judiciously, so in my eyes gambling was very lucrative, partly because I was winning and partly because I wasn't really feeling the effects of losing that initial money because again, (parents soft landing) renting house for me then and giving me their other car).
But Dayo consistently did advice me whenever I post those "winnings", that I really should try and stop. Others would hyping me and praising the winnings, while he would advice caution! Caution! Whatever you think you are making now, you would lose it later. Take your winnings now and leave.

And it wasn't until 2 years later when I found myself knee-deep in debt and gross financial ineptitude because of gambling that I realised what he had been telling me consistently
.

Now I went from this post here made in 2017

And this;

To this; 3 years later. grin grin

They say experience is the best teacher but dayo did actually help.

This might come a little bit off , but it’s just an observation sha.

I think one major challenge u have is u don’t listen to people most especially if their views don’t align with ur own personal views/heart desires . You rely too heavily on ur intelligence/brilliance and personal conviction.

I do not know u personally but I’ve seen u do it over and over again on this forum. I may be wrong tho.

That being said , I remember a colleague of mine who was an ajebutter right from day one; he attended a private Uni and was protected from all of these street stuff. The guy got gifted a brand new car while waiting for NYSC , his parents got him a house in Gbagada and when he started working he started soft like u described about urself up there.

One time at work he told me about a bet slip he saw online when one guy used 500 to Win almost 2 million. He said he wished somebody can teach him sports betting so he can make a kill out of it with his deep pockets .

I sat him down and told him it’s a road he never wants to go down. I let him know I’m very good at predicting matches and I had a good success rate while I was in Uni and my winnings helped not only me but my roommates to sort some of our bills in finals. However I stopped immediately I went for NYSC in the north and there was no betting shop in the north due to sharia law forbidding gambling . NB: that was a time Nigerian bookies had not started the whole online betting , most of the bets were done in bet shops .
I got a job after NYSC and vowed to never go back cos I’ve seen how betting can make a man with a good job go bankrupt.

Unlike you who didn’t listen to Raumdeuter, that my colleague in question listened to my advice and he was better for it . He never played around the idea of sports betting until one day he told me one of his guys who he wanted to meet to teach him before our discussion had to sell his car to clear the debt he ran into through betting . I’m sure if my guy had not listened his own would’ve been worst.

All the same, it’s good u shared ur story so others can learn.

PS: It’s always best to learn from the experience of others than ur own experience . Lessons learnt from other people’s experience can be sweet, while lessons learnt from ur own experience can be really really bitter .

If you have ever seen your pay slip before, you will be familiar with these deductions.

And this is applicable if you are placed on 12/11 oh!

Since each step is about 3k and a L12/S11 gets 170k just move the steps 8 times backwards from and remove 3k at each step
3000 × 8 = 24000
170000-24000 = 146000
Therefore
L12/S3 "may" be 146000
Deductions =?
Net Pay =?

I'm just speculating ooo!

Senseless post.

Stinginess is a personal thing. It has nothing to do with UK, America or any western world.

Would have made a little sense if you make it Nigerians in diaspora and not streamline it to UK cos all you wrote are applicable to most Nigerian living abroad.

They say experience is the best teacher but dayo did actually help.

My experience is extremely similar to yours except that mine lasted about 6-8 months.

The deal breaker for me was that I could barely concentrate on anything. Even in church, I'm refreshing livescores. I had nothing else to think of. Just forecast and play bet.

I knew I couldn't continue living my life like that. And it wasn't like I was always winning. It was a consistent cycle of wins and losses.

Na so I say bye bye to betting. Never again

I disagree. Frugal is the more appropriate[ word. Basically the western world works different from Nigeria and Africa.
You dont see people spraying money in weddings and feeding 1000 people. You have to plan everything 100 percent.
You cant get away from nepa bills like Nigeria.
Nobody depends on anyone else for handouts.
Everything is monitored 24/7- politicians are accountable, police is not collecting bribe and most of all the credit system works- if you dont handle your finances well it affects you in the long run.

So basically, all the leakages in nigeria that have made the country a damn mess dont exist in the west.!author=uche87 post=125289894]Let me start this piece with a common saying on social media.

Raumdeuter, is today your birthday? grin

The kind accolades wey i dey see here!

You can see the amounts staked and then the balance in my bet accounts then.
https://www.nairaland.com/3585296/football-other-sports-betting-season/20#53027813

donjazet:
Chelseafan1, how does this look? Any risk here?

donjazet:

Where? I seriously didn't see. There were a lot yesterday so I couldn't go through all. Anyways what do you think about that this game I want to stake?

https://www.nairaland.com/3585296/football-other-sports-betting-season/1035#55573421
donjazet:
Pamcod and nateevs grin cheesy una no well at all ooo. That one na the congrats una go give me for my winnings today abi tongue wink issorite, continue. cheesy

And it wasn't until 2 years later when I found myself knee-deep in debt and gross financial ineptitude because of gambling that I realised what he had been telling me consistently.

Now I went from this post here made in 2017
donjazet:

I can tell you categorically that if you have the luck and you know what you're doing, you'll make it big.
It's close to six months I started betting and my winning rate is very fucking_ high. I have made excess of 1.8 million profit. No kidding. I am a high staker who places high sums on low odds.

I have used 50k to win about 200k on 4 occasions. I have used 100k to win 235k. I regularly use between 10k to 20k for between 3-5odds and my losses have been very few I can tell you.

It's simple, if you know what you're doing, you'll make it. The bulk of my games are just usually 15 mins draw and 2 or 3 wins.

And this;
donjazet:

No be joke, betting is the best thing to have happened to me in life. I have done 4 rollovers of 2- 2.5 odds and lost only once. I have a friend who used to bet since with 1k or 2k almost every weekend and some weekdays. I just advised him to do a rollover and be disciplined about it and gbam!!!, in 6 days he made 300k from 10k.

The problem with many punters is simply impatience, greed and a lack of strategy. I understand what ibime and Raumdeuter are saying but they're all sounding like everyone who gambles is a failure or is addicted and that assertion is totally false.

To this; 3 years later. grin grin
donjazet:

I have recently decided that betting is just a monumental waste of time, a never ending cycle of wins and losses that just leaves one emotionally drained and fatigued.

The earlier you desist, the better. Gambling is bad.

donjazet:

Not with betting. Why do you think that gambling companies don't go broke? Instead more keep springing up.

Gambling is addictive and that is very dangerous.

They say experience is the best teacher but dayo did actually help.

You are right, judging from most comments.

However, their complaints serve the same purpose as Nigeria having 3 billion dollars as net reserve is preposterous.
What is really the gain in someone claiming his salary is 1 million naira when he is entitled to a payment of only 30 thousand naira at the end of the month.
The reality is that our foreign reserves is seriously depleted whether the gross is $37 billion. Since the net is $3 billion, the $37 billion is what we have but do not have.

Sports / Manchester United On Verge Of Signing 2 Midfielders by TruthHurts1(m): 8:16pm On Aug 20, 2023
Manchester United have reportedly made a move for Bayern Munich's Dutch Central Midfielder Ryan Gravenberch in their attempts to rejuvenate their midfield.

The Netherlands international is keen on leaving Thomas Tuchel’s side after failing to find his footing in Munich following his move from Ajax in the summer of 2022. The Bavarians have so far shown reluctance to let him go and even turned down an approach from AC Milan a few weeks ago.

However, the queue for Gravenberch’s services is getting bigger with every passing day, and United are the latest club to join the race.

Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla indicates in ‘the last few hours’ the Red Devils contacted Bayern and made an offer for Gravenberch.

The Dynamic midfielder, who’s on gross wages of around £200,000 a week before taxes in Munich, has also attracted an offer from Liverpool.

The 21-year-old would like to play under Erik ten Hag, the manager who got the best out of him at Ajax.

However, Pedulla suggests any move could depend on the future of Donny van de Beek or Scott McTominay, as United ideally want to sell at least one midfielder before moving in for a fresh face for their midfield.

This might also be the reason why the Red Devils are yet to submit a bid for Sofyan Amrabat despite being aware of Fiorentina’s valuation and finding a total agreement concerning the Moroccan’s salary.

It is understood Amrabat has patiently waited for United all summer, having said no to other approaches, but as we enter the dying embers of the summer transfer window, the Morocco international is hoping to wrap up his move swiftly, understandably.

The English outfit’s purported offer for Gravenberch might worry those who want Amrabat at Old Trafford. However, Pedulla adds that they could sign both Amrabat and Gravenbach depending on sales.

winnah:
Good morning family, I never felt the need to do this, it's not like I don't know what else to do. I just need your opinion.
Am currently a Branch manager of one of the biggest indigenous retail company (supermarket) in the country. Some group of Indian investor bought over my company... And I was transferred to Abakaliki to open our new branch. my relationship with the new owners I won't lie, is great..
My net monthly salary now is 110k, I have an official car and I live in the company's quarters.
There's no hope for salary increment. In the next 10 years am not sure of getting to 200k. My fiancee is in pH, and we are hoping to get married by next year.. this places a lot of demand to increase my income so I can afford to take care of my family.

However, I have an offer with another retail company in pH with salary of 200k. The company has promised and increment upon my confirmation. I went for the interview yesterday.. when they saw my experience and everything in my CV they became anxious to bring me in... So they asked how much am expecting I told them 200-250k and they settle at 200k. Right they, the chairman asked HR to give me offer letter and that I should start with immediate effect. My pain now is that,
First ; according to the HR their budget for the position was 300k.. now I've short change my self.. I feel so bad.

Secondly; I don't know how to present this to my MD, how do I tell them am leaving.. and the notice seems short. As I met him yesterday with a lot of expectations and target from me, just don't know how to communicate it to him. How I wish they can offer me this amount. Is two weeks enough to do handing over...
Your take home from that come gross is more than 250k per month. You will find out when you get your own accommodation. Bit it's always good to move when you feel it's the right time

Anyone asking you to start with immediate effect is a red flag and a trap. They are trying to make you leave your employer on a bad note and close the door.

Your story also has k leg.

No way a company that gives you an official car pays you 110k. I suspect you are deliberately lying about the allowances

Sports / Re: Why Are Players Going To Saudi Arabia? by EronzRichie(m): 2:21am On Aug 17, 2023
2 reasons.
Money
No Tax

Money because it is very lucrative right now for a refined player to play In Saudi right because they pay better than any league.

Tax Free: Most people fail to realise that footballers pay a lot of money in form of tax. I.e in england, the standard rate for personal income of a 150,000+ earner is 45%. So it means that a player that earns maybe 100k weekly gross, pays 45k as tax, then makes 55k net profit. But in Saudi, FOR NOW, it is TAX free. I.e Ronaldo's yearly salary of 200M is TAX FREE because he plays in SAUDI.

So you see why players are going there?
Another question you should ask is WHY ARE CLUBS SELLING THEIR PLAYERS?

Well ,this because SAUDI ARABIA PAYS INSTANTLY instead of paying through a STRUCTURE I.e Addons,Ffp limitations etc. The money drops instantly thus,Clubs are OPEN TO SELLING.

Akpabio’s Holiday Allowance: Setting the Record Straight
By: Soji Ikotun

National Assembly has battled series of criticism over the years, these excoriation seems never ending. Most appalling of all, discussion around the budget and remuneration of our representatives are reprehensive.
Castrating our institution of law-making on the platter of satisfying a paymaster’s quest will continue to spell doom to our desirous aspirations as people. These outbursts, either through ignorant or a deliberate attempt to diminish the good deeds of legislature over the years are undeserving. No wonder, average Nigerians see their representatives as mere lazy, corrupt and uninspiring politicians.
For days now, the Nigerian media space had knocked the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio over his statement on ‘holiday allowance’ for the Senators who observing the annual recess as stipulated in the legislative calendar of the National Assembly.
Akpabio sin was that he was transparent to air the lawmakers’ entitlement to recess allowance which is backed under the law. This recess allowance which is 10 per cent of the annual basic salary of each legislator, is paid once a year directly into the Lawmakers’ bank account.
Even the statement announcing the Recess package was immediately retracted by the Senate President, having noticed the backslashes that will follow a sincere and transparent process which is a major in the Legislative agenda of the Senate.
Nigerians woke up to news headlines and utterances mostly condemning the Senate President action. Newspapers and online platforms are busy feeding their audiences with the latest breaking news in town, but most of whom forgot to enlighten the general public the basic truth and the legitimate of the said allowance.
The unnecessary controversy erupted basically to dent the image of the Senate President and that of the Senate as a body. I beseech Nigerians from all works of life to endeavour to understand the legislative procedures, having background knowledge of the establishment of the National Assembly and its organs will lay to rest these grey areas.
The Federal lawmakers are faced with series of disparagement, most of these were birthed of hatred, misrepresentation and ignorance which some individuals might allegedly nurse against the workings of the Legislature or in an attempt to dent the image.
Setting the Record Straight; National Assembly Budget has been from puzzle to tussle. Earlier to reminisce is the 2023 National Assembly Budget of N169bn out of the N21.8trn 2023 National Budget. To Nigerian public, the sum of N169bn is been shared by the Lawmakers while the legislative arm of government rotten in penury. This is gnarled to what is obtainable in the Budget.
Now, let us break it down for clarity, the National Assembly have four other organs that all work with this annual budget, these organs are; the Public Complaints Commission(PCC) · National Assembly Service Commission(NASC) · National Assembly Budget and Research Office(NABRO) and National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, NILDS. In fairness, five organs of legislature are not mere science, they have roles much relevant to lawmaking but most Nigerians are just aware of the main body, the National Assembly.
Additionally, as a lawmaker at Federal level, you have huge responsibilities that cannot be compared to any functions of the Executive nor the Judiciary. The Legislators drive the wheel of governance. There is no gain saying in this. Among these roles we have laws making, repelling obsolete law, approves the amount citizens are to pay for tax, approves loans to be obtained by the country, approve budget and carryout oversight functions. National Assembly make or endorse policy for government, serve as the mouthpiece of their constituent; they articulate the interest of their constituent and present it to the national government.
Not yet done with the roles of National Assembly, they also amend the constitution when necessary, in some instances, the control the executive officials; the control of the executive officials is done to prevent autocracy on the part of the executive. Any member of the executive that goes contrary to the law can be invited to the national assembly for questioning or strict discipline.
Moreover, the national assembly can impeach the president or vice president when found to have committed the act of gross misconduct.
Furthermore, ministerial and ambassadorial nominees are approved by the national assembly. This they just exercised and it is done to ensure that only qualified candidates are appointed to head post and to ensure strict adherence to federal character principles.
Almost on a final note the Lawmakers, , they approves treaties. When a country enters into agreement with another country, the agreement is not valid until the National Assembly approves it.
National Assembly controls the expenditure of public fund. It examines the implementation of budget by ministries. They supervise the expenditure of the government in line with budget funds.
The National Assembly has power to declare a state of war between Nigeria and another country or state of emergency on any state of the federation.
It is only the National Assembly that has power to approve the deployment of the armed forces on combat duty outside Nigeria.
The National Assembly enacts the bilateral and multi-lateral treaties between Nigeria and other countries into law.
National assembly ratifies the agreement and resolution between Nigeria and international bodies and conventions and protocols on Nigeria’s international obligations.
National assembly receives visitors from friendly countries, members of legislative house of other countries.
They also receives complaints from the public and advises government on such complaints. Senators and members of the House of Representatives act as the spokespersons of their constituencies.
Can anyone be bold to an extent to now say, Nigerian Legislators are lazy....? The question should rather be, how well are we, Nigerians applauding these individuals that have made sacrifices to serve our fatherland untiringly....?
On the issue of expenses by lawmaker, Nigeria is a state where we place goodwill above hardworking. Sorry, but that is the truth. Our people want to elect or see a Senator who can shoulder their responsibilities, pay their bills and create jobs for them at no expense. Once you fail to deliver on the above needs, you are automatically a worse politician ever in the history. You will be seen as underperformed lawmaker and the spell on your political career may be devastating.
Let us take a critical look at a Senatorial District in Nigeria, under the watch of a Senator, we have the regular political party, under which his candidature was flagged to represent. We have the National party executives, same as State, Local government and the Ward level. We have associations both religious and socio-political, we have Royal fathers, Chiefs and other traditional leaders. We should never be quick to forget the youths bodies and women groups to mention just few. We are not talking about the immediate family and relatives of the elected representative.
Now, the issue is, as an individual, how can you satisfy the yearnings of these numerous people and groups who are in one way or the other stakeholders in your journey to excel in the task of lawmaking.
Here is where the Constituency Allowance come in, it was initiated initially to help Senators and House of Rep Members address socio-economic challenges in their immediate constituencies. It is also meant to support local development efforts. Let us face it, lawmakers confront a lot of challenges and pressure from voters mostly seeking personal and collective needs. These challenges, you cannot run away from it, unless, you are ready to leave the stage. We all know what I mean. I can tell you of a Senator, who sold three properties, in order to empower his constituents. As we speak, in the history of Constituency empowerment, his name stand tall but how can one justify that sacrifice to all he got while serving as a Senator. That is ultimate sacrifice.
In this part of the world, we have our belief, our culture and customs. In Africa, for example, you may not need an approval from your adult child before visiting or living with them, we see this as a traditional norms. Same goes either having a philanthropist around you, many don’t hesitate before seeking help and we don’t want to understand how these individuals derive the means to help.
Moreover, Sen. Godswill Akpabio, should not be taken to Golgotha over his comment on Holiday Allowance to Senators, this tradition has been in existence in the Senate and National Assembly in general. The Senate President had sets a positive precedent for public officeholders and fosters trust between elected officials and the citizens they serve. He has shown leadership and integrity in his commitment to serving the Nigerian people.
The public have the right to be abreast on the activities of those elected to serve. When information is freely available and directly accessible to those who will be affected by such decisions and their enforcement, then, transparency became the standard bearer.

Must someone be corrupt before he or she can remain on govt payroll? grin grin grin. Even a teacher for that matter, lol.
You even said that you are earning more than a professor, laughing. This is nairaland, an anonymous forum, I get your jokes.
Like if NNPC job , lecturing job, CBN job or FIRS is throwing your, you will still prefer to hold on tightly to your home lessons job. Home lessons job no mater lucrative it sounds is still for unemployed graduates trying to survive pending when a real job will surface

You don't have to be corrupt to be on govt payroll. But it's a very corrupt system and it'll definitely blend you in or frustrate you.

Nnpc job is not the basis of comparison here. Private school job and govt school job is.

I didn't say I'm just a home lesson teacher. I said I'm a teacher, home lessons is just a side thing.

And yes, gross monthly salary wise I am paid more than a professor.

That's it's an anonymous site doesn't mean everyone is lying.

Thank you

Career / Re: My Banker Friend Quit His Job To Work In A Car Wash by InvertedHammer: 6:23pm On Aug 07, 2023
Battlefield2:
Seriously, I'm pained right now,how can one decide to be stvpid and senseless at the same time
Before I begin, I swear to God who made me, this is not a lie, this is a true story....The story may seem long

So I have this friend, a close friend that works in a bank in Lag, he lives In his family house because his parents are late and he earns 70k plus, though he complains every now and then that the salary isn't much, if he collects salary by month end, before the 10th of the following month,he is already calling me for help on transports and all that and once in a while I help him with 1k or 2k to take transports and all that.

Last weekend,he was discussing with me on WhatsApp about car washing business, telling me it's lucrative and all those....I didn't pay much attention to it until he called me on Thursday and started crying...I asked him the problem,he told me a cousin of his sweet talk him into car washing business that it is lucrative and he can earn as much as 5k a day washing cars and he dropped the bombshell

He told me he sent in his resignation letter on Monday and Parked out of his family house telling those ones that he has been transferred to another branch, he moved to the one room apartment the car washing company provided to him n 3 other guys and started work. He said he hoped in his mind that if he can make 5k a day, he can save as much as 3-4k daily and that is a big improvement to the bank work

The reason for the lamentations now was things are not the way his cousin told him,he said since last week Monday up till this moment, they have only washed maximum of 3 cars per day and at the end of the day, the owner only gives them 5h each in which he used for eating. I requested for video call on Sunday and he is seriously looking lean and unkempt

He apologized that he didn't seek an advice from me or anyone before taking that bold move, he told me he is seriously depressed and wants me to profer a solution to him

Problem now is,he told me he is ready to quit the work and come to a different state that I am in other to restrategize.....I don't know what to tell him because I don't have much too and I'm struggling too because I'm sure if he comes,I will be fully responsible for feeding and all that
Moreso,I can't tell him "No" because right now,he has no where to go,his parents are late and he has already packed out of his family house rendering him homeless, moreso he is my very good friend

So I seek an advise from you all
Pls advise me, I'm confused!
/
Let's assume he makes N75,000/month gross.
After deductions (15% = N11,200), his take home is N63,800
Working 20 days in a month == N63,800/20 = N3,190 per day.
Subtract job-related expenses for the month (eg. transportation, clothing, etc)
Then subtract job-related stress.

If he can make N2,500 per day at the car wash, his life will be better off. He may need to find something else part-time to do when car wash business slows after 12noon. He should expand his skills to waxing, detailing and cleaning of foggy headlamps.

With high resilience and avoidance of ladies like a plague, he may be better off after a year. Nothing is easy at the beginning. However, he should have done weekend car wash to have a feel of it before quitting his job.

Ensure you get a strong surety though

Lol, abeg I no wan laff...Which biz sch dey dish that out...You contribute 100% capital to take 20% profit.....
