SIRcumalot: good as athletico Madrid is, they don't score a lot of goals and man city can still feel like they stand a chance against them compared to Bayern and Madrid who can score easily and more talented with the added benefit of being victorious in past match up against city. You will agree with me that Bayern are struggling recently, Madrid too are not yet convincing as their victory against Wolfsburg can't be used as the yardstick. But, if you have been following Athletico lately, you'll know that they boast of the best defence in Europe. They have regained their form at this crucial time and posses the fire power to score goals while still putting up a great defensive work. Any decent team will score freely against Madrid and Bayern, but same can't be said about Athletico. They will give any team a run for their money. |

ollah1: He doesn't need to prove anything to doubters. If he wins it then great. It's either bayern or Atletico for me. But he doesn't need anything to prove to doubters. Btw, what are they doubting? Yes, he doesn't need to prove anything to doubters. I just he wins it. But, as you have rightly said, it's either Bayern or Athletic only if the two are not drawn against each other in the semis. |

SIRcumalot: no worry his not answering this prayer city will get atletico madrid. let madrid and bayern fight it out. If City get Athletico, that's the end for City bro. Athletico may end up winning the UCL this time around. They have done well and really deserve it. But, I think it will be City vs Madrid and Bayern vs Athletic. Which ever way it comes, I doubt if City can defeat any of the remaining semi finalists unless there's an upset. |

@Raumdeuter Now that our dear club is out of the UCL, please tell Pep that this is the best time to prove doubters wrong and win his third UCL before heading to City. I pray you get City in the semis as to have a better chance of getting to the finals. My utmost wish now after my dear team is out is for Bayern to win it at least for the sake of our legend. You guys can do it, please go for it! |

Classyalabolass: You must be dyslexic - reread the title of the thread, it says: "Barcelona Fan Thread
Fellow goons invade the EPL threads? bwahaha. that's one hell of a pipe dream, mate. No Barca fan finds EPL teams worthy of trolling. Man United lost 3 nil last week - DMCdad was still busy hustling at MazaMaza, bykebyke continued with his okada business, sebod did not halt selling suya, neither did I leave what I was doing to go troll on Man United's thread. And you are here hyperventilating because we lost.
Abeg, you guys are inferior. We are your gods. Kowtow for Barça which is the tabernacle of football This my aboki must be darkenedrebel! Allow them do their wish bro, they don't get to see Barca loose every now and then like their pathetic clubs. They are just making use of the best chance available. |

Kagawa10: Xavi left and Barca crumbles, nothing new! Xavi is the core of that team! Same with the spanish team. Inspite of his aged legs last season, he still started 9 out of the 11 CL games Barca played. Even at the final when he was left on bench, Juve looked quite better than Barca but luck was on Barca's side. It was only when Xavi got on the pitch that Barca started to look more threatening than Juve and eventually scored the 3rd goal! Until Barca gets a new maestro in the midfield, there's little MSN can do! Xavi's is gone, and he's gone for good. You don't see a player like that everyday. He's gone with all his packages! |

Luis Enrique: "No penalty at the end? I couldn't see it from the bench. They told me it was penalty. But we congratulate Atletico."
We don't do excuses, congratulations to Athletico Madrid for a job well done. Kudos to D. Simeone for getting his tactics right and well done to our boys for fighting till the end. |

@ sebod , Madrid is out kè,E go shock you say madrid go destroy the germans. Okay oooooooo. All I ask for is a goalless 1st half, an early 2nd half goal by the Wolves and bring in their trailer to park if they have one |

Awesome01: Guys, leave these trolls alone for a moment and talk about your expectations for the game on Wednesday. If you are Lucho; what will be your game plan at the Calderon? And with what line-up? Do we go all out for more goals or play a bit defensive? Do we play lone striker to stuckup the midfield or play two strikers, two defensive midfielders to help the defenders? We shouldn't let the latest setback distracts us bro. I believe the team can still look inward and draw strength despite the obvious fatigue that's set in. With our usual 4-3-3 formation, Messi playing from the flank and the defence getting it right, we don't have any problem beating Athletico Madrid. Suarez should be careful to avoid another yellow while the guys should play their normal games. Haters should be ready to wail again as another red card awaits any Athleti player that chooses to be radical. We are winning, 1-2? 1-3? All I know is that we are winning come Wednesday! |
