Moreso, that's why all hell broke lose just because we lost a clasico. Yeah, clasico ain't an everyday game and is always serious, but come on, we lost to our rivals who trails us by 7 points (10 points before the game) and yet the world almost asked for the head of the players.

We have been spoilt. Infact, we are like spoilt brats. Like some rich man's daughter who has been spoilt with getting anything and everything she wants. And all these are the reasons why haterz hate the way they do.

Imagine you live in a street where a rich man's daughter does whatever she likes. Buys whatever she needs, or doesn't need for the sake of the fact that her father has got the cash, and while you and the vast majority of others keep dying of want. Now tell me; how would you honestly feel? If you say you won't feel jealous or envious or angry and vexed about her actions would take special grace. It won't be easy at all, as you see that she has everything you don't have. This is what happens with Barça and the rest of the world. They can only dream of having an iota of what we get without even breaking a sweat, and yet they won't get it.

Or how can you explain the fact that with all the mouth-watering trophies Madrid have in their cabinet, they are yet to win it all at once, that is win a treble. Meanwhile your fiercest rival wins it, and is almost making it habitual now. Imagine how you would feel in such case. Little wonder Benitez said what drives Madrid and Perez crazy all the more is the success Barça are able to gain even with all the odds.

If you ask me, I'd say God is a fan of the best club in the world. God is a fan of FCBarcelona.

Més cue un club.
Visça el Barça!

45 goals in 45 matches: what a perfect stat!
Suarez has scored a whooping 45 goals in his 45 appearances for this season, an average of one goal per match.
Yet, he's been subjected to lots of criticism and bashing here(myself inclusive) for failure to convert every chance presented. We want him to score over 60 goals in 45 matches. That's the level of expectation we have developed over time from our super stars. We want nothing short of perfection always, that's why we can easily bash whoever is not performing up to that already set standard.
Every club will kill to have any of the MSN in their team, and here we have the three playing harmoniously for us.
Arsenal with Suarez and his stat would be sitting comfortably on top of their league, Man U with him would have spared Rooney of all the blames and bashing he gets from the fans while Chelsea with him would be fighting for the league by now. We are blessed to have the best striker in the world playing for our dear team.
We are Cules, we support the best club in the world, we have been spoilt by the club and players. That's why some envy while others hate!

Just a goal for them would mean Madrid have to score 4 goals to qualify. Let's get our arms crossed till then.

It's understandable when a PSG, Madrid, City, Bayern, Benfica fans are praying and wishing Barca lose, you'll understand that they are trying to avoid being drawn up against us. But, when a guy who's team does not even have any iota of hope playing in the next UCL, or whose team's chance of qualifying for the next UCL hinges on a tiny thread is crying foul and calling ojoro for a decision that's well made in a game involving Barca, then, you'll know there's more to it than just hating.

Give that Man U team to Mourinho and ask him to play Barca. He knows there's no way this current team is gonna defeat Barca and he must have something to back up his loss. He will just instruct Martial to go wound Messi and get sent off. He would walk to the press room and then blame the loss on red card as if his team even stands a chance if they are 13 in number. And alas! The whole epl fans will subscribe to the excuse.
It's high time guys moved on from all these flimsy excuses just to discredit a club that has achieved a lot over the years.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by sebod(m):
Mcleo007:
Barcelona are not been favoured by anybody, organisation or committee. Why teams normally get red card against Barcelona is simply because of their pattern of play. For instance in La Liga; Atletico Madrid, Athletic Bilbao, Real Madrid, Valencia and Sevilla are teams that presses high and play physical football which doesn't suit Barca. . When these teams or any other team that has those similar attributes play against Barcelona, there chances of getting red card are always high. Barcelona philosophy lies on possession. They are a team that enjoys having the ball always more than there opponents. That is why Barcelona will always have a ball possession of 55% to 75% in every match they play, not minding the team they are playing against. . So whenever Barcelona enjoys having the ball and passes it around, other teams are been fraustrated especially those who play physical football most especially Atletico Madrid. They are been put under unnecessary pressure and they mark or tackle anyhow in other to collect the ball thereby leading them to commiting fouls and been booked. . They way people talk about these issue is really really digusting. People thinks Barcelona are been favoured, but thats not the truth. Players like Busquets, Neymar and Suarez can commit you with any slightest foul you commit against them. Thats how they play their own football. Is not about the Referee or any type of favouritism. Barcelona phisolophy simply puts teams in danger of getting a red card and thats how it will continue to be. NO FAVOURITISM!!!

The same happened with the Guardiola era. Lol. When Barcelona became unstoppable (losing once or twice a year) Madridiots pulled the "Uefalona" card. Lol. You can keep on thinking up names and Barca will keep on thinking on how to fit their next few trophees in their cabinet.
Well said bro.
In addition, the clasico was always a match to look forward to until Mourinho came and took it to another level of hatred. The only way he could win Barca then was to play dirty and eventually blame the loss on red card. Anceloti brought sanity and clasico was again nice to watch. He won the clasico without playing dirty and getting his players sent off.
The same way Simeone has instructed his players to play dirty against Barca. The league match was a clear indication that they were ready to kill just to win. Many teams have won us without resorting to brutal tackles, I wonder why they couldn't tow same lane only for some dudes to cry foul when players are sent off for a deserved offence.

You dey mind the two faced biatch. They actually want players to be pardoned for their offences even if its grievous. Some people are just pathetic. The poster you quoted analysed the incident without bias but some nitwits will claim they don't hate Barca cos they commended some couple of their players.
When we lost to Madrid, so many epl fans rushed here to troll. Yes, it was accepted by me because they have been praying for such an opportunity for long. No one saw it coming, we were all carried away by the beautiful results the team has been getting. But, the loss brought us all back to reality and the trolls reminded us that nothing is won until all is won.
Many of them didn't come here to shout ojoro, because there's still some that would never allow sentiments to be cloud their sense of judgement. One of them is the poster I quoted.
You can always hate, but, when you allow hatred to dictate to you, to the point of claiming Ramos and Tores should have stayed on the pitch for 90 mins, then its something else.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by sebod(m): 12:16pm On Apr 06, 2016
When Chelsea lost to Barca in a match where a Chelsea player was sent off for a foul on Messi, Mourinho lamented that Barca could never defeat any complete Epl team in a bid to get sympathisers to himself. I can't count how many times Epl teams have been raped even with complete squad.
He went to Italy and won the UCL albeit defeating Chelsea in a controversial way, all his epl supporters kept mute and instead praised his heroics.
He was then hired by Madrid to continue his good work, after being totally destroyed in the league with his squad intact in numbers, he quickly deployed the dirtiest way of playing Barca. He invented 'operation break their legs'. His player was sent off and his team lost in the UCL game, he was quick to tag the loss on Uefa, Unicef, Fifa conspiracy and immediately won the sympathy of his Epl followers. Hence, 'Uefalona'
Barca have won several games in the UCL against a team that play football. There has been calm everywhere since Barca have not been playing against a Mourinho team. Arsenal, City, Man U, PSG, Juve, Madrid and co have all suffered in the hands of Barca even with their complete squads severally.
Diego Simeone has now decided to deploy Mou's approach by instructing his team to play dirty as that's the only way he thinks they could stop Barca. The players are sent off due to wreck less tackles and suddenly the name uefalona has resurfaced. We didn't play such teams in the UCL last season, and we won the UCL without any shout of ojoro.
The question now is: should the refs drop their cards when coming to officiate a Barca match? Should they always pardon all offences against Barca players no matter how brutal they are?
Two Athletico players got red card in the last league match when Barca were winning, haters never questioned their reckless play but were swift to ask why Barca couldn't score more than two goals against a 9 man team, all because they always expect us to win big.
They lost a man in the UCL when leading, and it's Barca that's doing ojoro because refs should always overlook any brutal foul against Barca because the players are super human and are immune to injury.
Some cules here were quick to point out the ref error that favoured Barca in a game against Villareal, some even asked questions why Bale's goal was disallowed in the clasico, that's objectivity.
But, when you are quick to label Barca uefalona because of an offence so glaring from Ramos and Tores(an offence they claimed responsibility for), you should not be angry when you are called whatever names, just because that's the highest degree of hypocrisy.

Toress was infinitely foolish yesterday.

The Neymar foul was stuppidd, he then followed up by barging Rakitic which the ref ignored, then finally that daft tackle on Busquets wey no dey hesistate to go to ground if you even breathe on him, let alone assault him with such reckless abandon.

I felt like slapping the f00l. I still do.
I have tried to remain silent and just be reading some ridiculous comments here on how Barça are always helped by refs when they do their job of giving out cards to deserved offenders, but, this your post wouldn't just allow me.
I must confess you are a real football fan who sees games and analyse without sentiments.
To those boiling and raking on what's not, are we saying refs should not come to the field with cards in a game involving Barca? Are we saying any offender should be parted at the back because he's playing against Barca? Are we sayind Ramos, Tores should have been pardoned for obvious offence all because it was a game against Barca? Why would someone not be termed as 'hating' when he still opens his mouth to call Barca names for Tores getting a red card for an offence he himself has apologised for? SMH for some people really!

sebod:
The foul on Messi was not a penalty as it happened very close to the edge.
I don't think our defenders relaxed in the last 20 mins too. The removal of Rakitic piled more pressure on them. Rakitic was responsible for shutting down Modric in the middle. He never allowed his fellow countryman have any impact on the game while still supporting Alves on the flank to silent CR7. That allowed Busi to do his work well and gave balance to the midfield. He was already on a yellow card and the coach removed him for Arda. Arda was probably carried away by the awe of playing his 1st clasico as he was no where to be found. That gave room for Modric to stamp his authority and took control of the midfield. Iniesta too was already worn out which left Busi to be exposed against Madrid mid fielders which in return increased the pressure on our defence. Marcelo and CR7 were let lose on the flank while Modric and Kroos had their time through the middle. Zidane introduced a sharp Jesse and our defence couldn't handle the pressure. Hence, the collapse.
Rakitic ensured both Modric and CR7 had a quiet game while he was on the pitch. Arda should have come in for Iniesta while Messi should have engaged Marcelo from the flank. E don happen sha, after all, they are human as you have rightly said.
Athletico will pay dearly for the loss.

While I agree with you on the points listed, the formation by Lucho didn't help neither. He deployed god-Messi as the pin point man in a diamond 4-4-2 formation. He played Neymar Jnr and L. Suarez as a twin strike combo with no clear objectives as against having god-Messi play along them upfront. Marcelo had a field day, as there was nobody to keep him quiet on the right flank. He was Madrid's most dangerous player on the night.
Messi playing through the middle also did not help matters. I thought Marcelo would have his hands full combating Messi, but he was free to do his things while Messi was facing serious tackles from Casemiro, Ramos and Pepe. Arda could not offer anything close to what Rakitic did which left the defence badly exposed.

Success, they say always attracts many friends, but reverse is the case for Barcelona. Our successes over the years have earned us many enemies and haters all over. Where I saw the match, the whole place scattered immediately madrid equalised. I quickly made a mental note of the centre and discovered that all the guys hailing and Madrid were:
30% Chelsea fans, 47% Man U fans, 20% Arsenal fans, 1% Madrid fans and 2% follow follow. Funny enough, it's almost same on Nairaland.
And I concluded by imagining the havoc Barca have wrecked on these fans and their respective clubs over the years. It's not easy being the best club in the world with the best set of players they can always dream of.
