I will personally pick Terry over Boateng any time any day. But, I think it's unfair using Boateng's fall against Messi to ridicule him. Afterall, Messi can rubbish any player at any moment. If in doubt, ask Madrid defenders ![]() |
AdeLaNa1:I hope the emboldened does not take into consideration the Nigeria of today sha? |
calculator123:We can only give them our support and hope they are able to carry on. It's obvious they are all fatigued. As regards Busi holding on to ball for long, that one aspect of his game nobody is happy with and it's also been part of him. It's now more glaring due to the drop in his level of play. |
calculator123:Who wan bench am? Our midfield is worse off without him. He might not be doing really fine now, and who exactly is doing excellently well in the team presently? Alba? Suarez? Ney? It's obvious playing every three days is taking its toll on the guys. Busi is one of the players without a potential back up in the team which should be a major concern to us. We must give it to them for always grinding out result no matter how poor the play may be. If we have not called for suarez' replacement for misfiring, neymar's poor run of form at a point, Alba's present poor performance, I think it's harsh calling for Busi's replacement for not doing fine ATM. |
In all fairness, Villareal got a well deserved point. Pique should have seen red in the 1st half, we were 2 goals up in the 1st half albeit fortuitous 2nd goal. Alves and Mathieu were then sent in to help crown Villareal's effort with success. I admire their fighting spirit. |
bykebyke:Na you I go blame for the two goals because na you paddy cause the two. |
dmcdad:I dey tell you. Even replay shows Neymar was not fouled as Asenjo got his hand on the ball. But the ref couldn't have seen it from his position. 11 points clear on the log, can we contact our B team to get prepared for the classico? Meanwhile, it's nice seeing Denis Suarez playing well. |
Pique should be removed asap, he should have gotten red card! |
darkenedrebel:The aforementioned players are very good and sound. They might perform better in any other team but definitely not in this Barca setup would they perform better than Busi. There's been a lot of debate on this in the past and I would want to venture into such. |
darkenedrebel:Can you please suggest a better replacement? |
bykebyke:Are you sure Madrid will make it to the semis despite the easy draw? |
dmcdad:Don't be surprised if Madrd don't get to the semis despite the easy draw. |
My prediction..... Barca vs PSG Madrid vs Benfica Athletico vs Wolfsburg Bayern vs City My wish... Barca vs City Madrid vs Psg Athletico vs benfica Bayern vs Wolfsburg |
Nice game and kudos to the boys for a job well done. Arsenal tried all they could, defended and attacked massively but failed to make their efforts count. Our boys took it easy with them and were able to absorb their pressure. TerStegen did a great job and showed us he could be the best keeper in the world with time. Suarez produced a moment of magic by scoring a breathtaking goal as MSN did what they do best to finish off the job. Kudos to the coach and the players. |
AdeLaNa1:Habah! You no dey forget things ni? You go wicked for real life oooo ![]() |
Hello friends; the moment we have all be waiting for is upon us. Can Arsenal pull one of the greatest comebacks in football history? Or are we gonna witness another massacre? We will find out in the next 5hours. My expected line up is this: ......... TerStegen...... Alves....Masch.....Mathieu.......Alba ................Busi ....Rakitic...............Iniesta .............MSN 1. TerStegen, a very good, talented and brilliant shot stopper with good reflexes and apt ball distribution would have his hands full in the early exchanges as Arsenal would try to score an early goal to boost their faint hope of scaling through. His composure, brilliance and readiness would be put to test. 2. Mascherano is expected to lead the defence line in the absence of Pique. He will definitely miss his partner in crime for his aerial ability, exquisite control and excellent ball distribution from the defence. Mascherano must be ready to absorb all the pressure thrown at him by Arsenal forwards who would be desperately bombarding the defence with the aim of getting something positive. 3. Sergio Busquets is the anchor of the Barca midfield. An unsung hero who has always been underrated in the Barca setup. He's not known for his physical presence, but his tactical awareness and positioning details stand him out as the best among his equals. For the team to assert its authority as usual, Busi has to bring his A game. He must be ready to nullify whatever Arsenal have to offer in the middle of the park. 4. Messi. Messi is Messi. Arsenal can only pray he has a bad day. And if he does, his partner in crime will take care of proceedings. Arsenal are hoping to upturn a 2 goal deficit, and as such would rather opt to attack than sitting back. It's gonna be an entertaining 90mins as we watch the best team in the world take on their inferior version(polished Barca B). |
When five players are trying to stop just one player; it can only be the football god.

nonsoroyalty: ollah1:My opinion.... 1. None. Nothing has been won yet! 2. Sevilla. They started the season poorly due to new players trying to settle and find their rhythm. They could have been above Madrid by now. 3. Real Madrid. They are nothing but complete disaster. 4. Celta Vigo. They are unlucky to have lost their best player to injury when he was needed most. |
dmcdad:They can't survive Sevilla again. Ramos too is likely to miss El classico. Shitty club. |
philfearon:Beat them 11-1, Wenger's career is always intact ![]() |
barackohandso:Agreed! |
dmcdad:Their lucky run ends today. Pepe and Ramos aren't playing against Sevila. Expect total demolition. Worst Madrid team in recent time. |
barackohandso:3-1 bawo? Why not 4-0, 5-0 6-1.........? |
I can only pitty Arsenal now, it's been been easy for them lately. Their total downfall started the day their fans started claiming almost all their players were better than Barca player. One aboki even claimed Suarez was slightly better than Giroud while Alexis(that left Barca for Neymar) was better than Neymar. One can only feel sorry for them now for what awaits them at the Camp of no messi. I can only say it's gonna be #totalannihilation |
dmcdad:I dey tell you bro. |
AdeLaNa1:Eiyah, sorry bro, I feel your pain! I believe with more commitment, passion and readiness, Man U can still usurp that inconsistent City. |
Nice game today from the boys for adding more to the woes of already free falling Getafe team. Neymar is back and we can only hope he continues in the fine form. Nice seeing Busi and Suarez getting a well deserved rest, hopefully we can get to see the best of Suarez in the next game 'Arsenal in soup' ![]() I just hope and pray we don't have to play a match that would be decided on penalties, na only Pique I trust on PK for now ooooo ![]() |
nonsoroyalty:The only one I know for now is Samper, that's why I'm happy he's called up. Hopefully he can have some minutes of playtime. |
dmcdad:My earnest expectation! |
nonsoroyalty:Masch is suspended while Busquest is not included in the squad to face Getafe. That means we might likely see Samper in action today. I seriously need a solid back-up for Busi. |
Upnepaa:You are welcome to the thread of the best club in the world, the envy of other clubs and eternal tormentor of Madrid. You will enjoy yourself here as fans discuss football without insult. As per the emboldened, you don already show how wicked you go be for real world ooo ![]() |
Mcleo007:This is wickedness bro, do you have to remind them of their misery? You go wicked for real life ooooo ![]() |
