It's banditry, farmer's clashes and kidnappings you call it now.
When it gets to mass uprising, let us know.
Until then you people should live with the choice of a president you made, authentic or rigged results.

Bloody liars.
If he had been able to shoot them from the boot where he was kept,he would have been able to shoot out the boot lock and jumped out.
He could av also shot all of them or the first person to open the boot.
Finally evenif he didn't how could an injured driver and a badly injured co robber av had d strength to still come out and disarm the officer, while they were obviously bleeding.
These killers think they are narrating a tale to their fellow low brained criminals in a beer parlor.
Crime › Re: Chuks Okebata: Police Arrest Killers Of US Army Veteran by seborrhic: 7:16pm On Apr 14, 2019
How can a serving army officer be referred to also as a veteran?
Some Nland posters are redrafting the English language.
We better change to pidgin to avoid all these commotion.

After Sowore was roundly disgraced in the elections,he has gone back to his calling of peddling beer parlor gossips and blackmailing.
Glorified blogger, lying expert and blackmailer with pretences of being an activist and practising journalism.

Health › Re: Primecare Hospital Receives International Medical Delegations From US And UAE by seborrhic: 2:59am On Apr 14, 2019
DonX001:
This AlexReports gives the crappiest news I've ever seen from any blogger.
Giving attention to completely irrelevant people, making news out of no news, and pushing the crap to front page.
Absolute crap.
My brother,I am dumbfounded.
I was expecting to read a medical delegation came to partner with the hospital or came to impart some skills, but what I read with even the pictures completely threw me off balance.
This is just a guy that probably made some regular white dude acquaintance of his pay him a visit in his local hospital setting and paid alexreport to feature it,all in a comical bid to illegally advertise his hospital practice.
It also seems nland, particularly some mods, maybe not Seun, also have some kind of arrangement to publish whatever sh itty story that blogger publishes, for mutual financial gain I believe.
Business › Re: Jumia: 'africa's Amazon' In Landmark Stock Market Listing by seborrhic:
sonnie10:
It I had some spare money I would buy but for the fact that it has not made any profit for a while is not encouraging.
Anyway, Amazon was like that at a point when they were building those mega fulfillment centers.
Jumia might have tell us why they are not making profit yet
It takes years for many honest business outfits to make profits.Forget many corrupt nigerian business concerns or businessmen that declare profits overnight. They, some, not all though, either pad their books, are corrupt or are making it through government patronage or funds.
It's their outlook, sales turnover and immediate to future financial projections institutions look out for.
Once a bank knows you are in a very comfortable position to service your debt, with a good outlook, they still back you, despite your present non- profit position. At least 10years is the benchmark all concerned look out for.
Despite their books showing they are presently operating at a loss, are you not surprised they still had the confidence to not only plan to,but were actually approved to list on the NYSE,with it's stringent rules and benchmarks to pass?
Then look at the confidence stockbrokers showed in the stock, albeit,it's early trading days?
We can only just wish them well.
I was really excited to know Jumia was founded in Nigeria and branched out from here.I had always thought that they, just like ShopRite started in South Africa years ago and then expanded to Nigeria.
Business › Re: Jumia: 'africa's Amazon' In Landmark Stock Market Listing by seborrhic: 2:21am On Apr 14, 2019
"Jumia began operations in Nigeria in 2012".
Says a lot about the operating environment then.
I think Konga too was founded around that same period or thereabouts, but at least pre 2015.
ShopRite stores too with JustRight.
Infact pre 2015 was when big supermarkets made a re entry into Nigeria with massive expansions round the country.
These and many other such companies brought a lot of foreign exchange and jobs most especially.
I maybe mistaken, but I can't recall ShopRite opening any new outlet since 2015 or 2016 when a certain leader started discouraging investments through his hogwash, but most times non existent economic policies.
I also wish Konga well and would welcome other major players entering the online retail business.
Jobs, direct and indirect are aplenty in that field.
The next big area either banks, other financial outfits or big time retailers should delve into and indeed conquer, particularly financial institutions,is the credit market industry.
There is a lot of money to be made in this field, especially with BVN now in play, because it would drive up the consuming perchant of Nigerians, knowing they can pay for their needs in instalments, freeing up cash for other more immediate concerns.

magicminister:
Nigeria should rally around the ibos for their innovation.

If yorubas and ibos work together, this country will turn around in less than 5 years!
In fairness to the Hausas, particularly the Christian and non radical muslims amongts them, there are some brilliant guys and girls there, eager for education and wanting to compete, but it's the Islamic majority with everything focussed on the Koran and nothing else, that are dragging the rest of them, and the Nigerian state as a whole, backwards.
As for the Fulanis,Buhari represents everything about them,so there is nothing more to say than the first hand experience of his continued misrule, poor education and palpable failure to grasp basic issues, and failure to upgrade himself, can say.
He epitomises all the Fulanis can offer.

Kudos to her, a lot of good people exist.
Like everything Nigerian, soon as they heard someone had made it big time through blogging, all manner of characters jumped in,many that couldn't make a credit in even English.
That's why you see many blogs filled with nerve wrenching English sentences, nil or poor paragraphing and wrong spellings all over the place.

What is "Zanku leg work crashes U.I. As stage collapses"?
So his leg work crashed the mighty U.I?
Is English no longer a means of communication on nairaland?
They should make us understand pidgin is now the official language here.

Pity for the attack and thank God for sparing his life.
But I am curious. After closing for the day's activities and going back home, resting,he still came out with N10k and his phone worth 70k to settle a fight his brother had?
Some people just like using every opportunity to reap, instead of thanking God and having their bills settled by the culprit.
Probably the policece told him to add those lies to also reap some financial benefit from the case.

Politics › Re: El-Rufai Goes On Air Surveillance, Over Fulani Herdsmen Killings In Kajuru LGA by seborrhic: 3:46am On Apr 12, 2019
This criminal should be arrested and sent to the Hague for war crimes.
His comments and actions are what has fuelled this upsurge in killings by the Fulani herdsmen because he has shown publicly,on national television even, that he supports the killer herdsmen.
As long as El Rufai remains governor of that state, there cannot be peace because no matter how docile one may be,once a state governor goes on public television and radio and is read on newspaper pages to have mentioned support for a particular ethnic group,in a multi ethnic state, something no other governor in Nigeria has ever done, you lose your docility and want to defend your tribe against perceived state sponsored extermination.

Politics › Re: Imo State Civil Servants Demand 7 Months Salaries by seborrhic: 2:53pm On Apr 11, 2019
These ones are in for a long thing.
Rochas has spent the money on campaigns for his family(inlaw, wife and himself),so can't pay and doesn't give a damn now.
He can't even borrow to pay because Ihedioha has his eyes on him and the banks.
Ihedioha too will not likely pay those arreas over his first tenure because he just doesn't have the extra funds. He would be more concerned with paying current salaries.
In summary, those 7 months will remain unpaid arreas for several years, unfortunately.
