MoneySEASON:It wasn't because of experience per se. The thing is that the brand of football Enrique is playing has never won a world or continental championship(except when Barca had a certain Messi at his prime). Passing the ball 1000 times sideways and backwards has failed countless times, unless it's a national league. Guardiola tried out numerous times with Bayern and city, yet he still can't crack the champions league. Barcelona with Xavi can win la liga if Madrid declines but countless sideways passing will always be defeated by major teams in Europe. The best footballing style/brand remains that of real Madrid and Liverpool at club level and Brazil/Argentina/France at national team level. These teams combine skill with pace,short/long passing when the opening is there and aggressive but equally skilled attacking force and don't indulge in those boring ineffective passing football that is most times confined to one's half and usually sideways or backwards to the keeper. If Spain don't re adapt their football they would continuously fail. |
SqueezeBugatti:Even without you saying it.It would have been a surprise if a honest auction is done. Either EFCC agents or in collaboration with the auctioning agents must have used their influence and insider knowledge to fix the buyers. The buyers,if you investigate well will also be EFCC agents, using proxies or the auctioning agents family members, friends or associates or using proxies to buy the cars for themselves. The average Nigerian has come to see fraud as a normal way of life. |
SensetionalGoal:When seasoned experts and the pos operators themselves have analysed the policy and found it's of no benefit to them, one half baked nairaland poster somewhere will come out with something that just came out of an us and sees the advantage! That's why I like Twitter where you real personal information can be got by those viewing your tweets.By the time you post such quarter baked knowledge and are slaughtered,no one will tell you that next time you should think through your thoughts and opinions thoroughly before posting it |
thorpido:When you live the kind of luxury lifestyle he wants to live and enough money is not coming from his songs or shows, instead of reducing expenditure, some of them start looking for short corners by delving into fraud. |
olatade:Just hopes it would reduce inflation if that's the aim because honestly the inflation in Nigeria must be one of the highest in the world. But that ₦200 max denomination at the ATMs sounds somehow. You go to withdraw 10k and it would seem as if u withdrawing 100k. They should have made the ₦500 the highest not 200. |
Doyou2019:They were all bursting our ears that Gavi is the next thing after Messi,Pedri is the new Iniesta, this Spanish team is the real deal etc etc. See Morocco that France and England would trash is giving them this much headache. If they lose, next thing you start hearing from same press that praised all the aforementioned players,is how the coach shouldn't have started them in matches, how they were inexperienced,or how Morata should have started from the onset than Torres, etc etc. |
ifytrik:If the world cup should come to Africa it should be for a subsaharan African nation, not Arabs. Eventhough Morocco is geographically in Africa they don't and are not strictly Africans in the true sense of it,so they should be knocked out. No Arab nation should surpass the quarter final feats of Senegal and Ghana. I don't wish Morocco to win,but if they win this match, they should be defeated in the quarters. |

Obidentkid:Bet you if it was cellulitis, you wouldn't even have the time or strength of mind to come to nairaland. First thought was it was a patch from birth. But from your narration,it doesn't seem so. Aside prescribing advantan cream for you,the dermatologist should have told you what the diagnosis is.If he/she didn't then that's quite poor for a consultant dermatologist not to be able to say what it is from mere looking at it and be confident enough to tell the patient. |
Rubbish. Unless he had already concluded on terminating the contract sometimes ago and had already secretly engaged new contractors, mobilised them financially and told them to be ready the day after he would make the publicity stunt of terminating the contract on phone. You can't just wake up after a visit to a construction site to announce termination of a road contract and the resumption of work of new contractors the next day,on phone,or even on air, without having made the decision and contingency plans, long ago, unless you are a drug addict or alcoholic leader, that doesn't give any thought before making announcements. |
First check out if he contested a primaries seat and lost under the APC or was excluded from the newly inaugurated presidential council. That's what majority of them do. If they lose a primaries contest under a particular party or are removed from juicy party positions they held, they then dump the party telling a lot of lies and sweet stories of how they found out all what is wrong with their former party. If he is doing out of sincerity of purpose and truthfulness about the shortcomings of Tinubu, kudos to him then. |
kettykin:Even if Tinubu wins the election, which I honestly hope not,I don't see him winning Lagos and abuja. He would come second behind Obi in Lagos and third behind Atiku & Obi in Abuja. Kano too would be almost evenly spread amongst Atiku,Tinubu and Kwankwaso,if he remains in the contest and doesn't do a "Sabo",with Obi showing some impressive returns. If Obi and Atiku can neutralise the large nomadic like voting pattern in Katsina,Borno and Bauchi for APC,then it's over for Tinubu because it's in the Northwest/Northeast that he can have the kind of margin he needs to win to neutralise his defeats in the South East,SouthSouth and middle belt with him slightly edging other candidates overall in the Swest but not with margins that alone can neutralise his losses in the aforementioned other zones |
Memphis357:The person you quoted is a glorified dunce. Many times he had wanted to come out as being intellectually sound,he has been found to be empty. |
He was in a bush as at the time the narrator called and he claims he doesn't know if his phone was one of the items taken by the policemen,so how did his friend manage to get through to him,by spiritual phone connection? Another thing I noticed about the story,is the friend always dodging his being fully attached to the story,by always having one excuse or the other:Joshua and friend's brother first called by 12am,he missed the calls, that sleep must be very deep.Friend also wanted to go to police station with him:no fuel in car,no commercial vehicle on the road, yet Joshua purportedly using same non available transport, was able to get to the fuel station. I can bet anything that when police or other parties release their own version of this story, lots of loopholes would be found,at variance with what the friend posted. |
Konjiboii:It's actually very nauseating. How can human beings in Nigeria, despite everything the Whiteman did, including going as far as giving us the internet, when all their education and trying to civilize us failed over centuries, still believe in all this stone aged rubbish. So why waste time acquire an education in the first place, when many black people still can't use their commonsense to sieve out rubbish from total bul lshit. |
Illiterates. If a dead wall gecko was found inside the pot of soup,it means it must have entered after they were dead after eating not before. It's also unlikely that food poisoning would kill all 6 family members at the same period because they have different immune abilities and one or 2 must have survived enough to rush to neighbours or cry out to ask for help. It's quite difficult to know the true cause of death here, without more credible information from well informed and knowledgeable people, not some phantom believing villager or illiterate. |
Any GENUINE live streaming link? |
It's wrong, but so much as this,as truthfully stated by the APC spokesman, has been the practice down the years,by virtually all state governments in Nigeria, you cannot on this issue accuse oyetola and the deputy with others that benefited,of corruption or stealing. What Adeleke should do,if he sees this,as morally and criminally wrong,is to get the assembly to pass a law or give an executive order to be gazetted stating that the practice is hearby stopped and becomes illegal henceforth by any government official leaving office. Otherwise, Adeleke is only grandstanding and playing to the gallery. Uzodinma said and did worst against the government of his predecessor, but today him and Rochas have sort of come to a 'gentleman agreement ', because I feel uzodinma has realised he and his cronies are also using same executive power to be acquiring government and people's assets and landed properties and would also not want to be forced to relinquish such stolen assets and properties when he too leaves office,by his successor. That is the way of Nigeria politics since 1999, something people that initially voted for Buhari in 2015 thought he was coming in to correct, not knowing he is another utterly corrupt, bigoted, lying, pretentious criminal. |
Eriokanmi:Indeed, won't be surprised he is offered full scholarship and relocation abroad,by even the first lady who wouldn't want to be embarrassed by the fallout of her s tupid move and the irritation and guilt complex his continued stay and schooling in Nigeria would give her. |
The student that filmed the act and distributed it should also be arrested under the cybercrimes act. Many oldies and adult males now screaming hell did these things during their days but due to lack of social media they are now appearing holy. Can anyone believe that cases of sodomy have been existing in some Northern communities for decades, but if it's now reported based on social media, everyone would be screaming that the world these days is spoilt, not knowing that the difference is just the widespread exposure that phone cameras and the social media now give such acts |
membranus:Rubbish! If Patey had taken it and lost, your type would have been asking why the same Ayew that lost didn't take it. You people always find someone to blame, why can't it just be accepted that he was just unlucky and move on,than always looking for who to blame in every incident!! |
Angelfrost:These Arab teams from Africa,Morocco,Algeria, even Libya, play a lot of delightful, technically gifted football. But at the world stage, they just lack the finishing product. Morocco was also extremely delightful to watch at Russia, but surprisingly went out at the group stage despite how good they were. But Tunisia and Egypt have always been poor at the world stage in terms of the way they play and their technical ability. |
timidogg:Good you got her arrested as you claimed. It's a matter that should involve the police and the courts if no resolution can be found but the bank and manager have nothing to do with your business with her, unless they want to grant you an extension of the loan repayment on grounds of you having a good standing with them, but I bet u there patience would wear thin if you continue defaulting,no matter the reason. |
timidogg:I don't understand this portion. Are u expecting the bank to help you recover the money or the manager to tell you,"ok, don't worry, once you get back the money, you can start paying"? You are also the one saying you borrowed her the money, there is no evidence you didn't "dash her",as a way to hook or impress her, believing you would get it back from your business, only for the business not to flourish and you are now coming up with this. Mr go and look for legal ways to recover your money,if your story is true because you borrowing someone part of a loan is not the bank's business and when they come for your collateral no one would be interested in your 'stories that touch'. Besides,if your business is doing well N3.7m should not stop you from servicing your loan. |
TarOrfeeek:What point is he making? It's already broadcast and posted on every medium that no bank official would ask you for your personal account details, particularly your ATM and pin over the phone. Once the whoever asked him for his ATM number and otp he should know it's fraudulent and ignore. It's only a dunce that falls for that scam and the information he is posting as if it's new has been in circulation over the years. To every successful scammer, there is a greedy individual out there.Scam is different from robbery where u are forced to part with your money and sensitive details under threat |
Rubbish! No bank official would call you on the phone asking for your BANK DETAILS,but your account officer can call you to clarify issues with your account. Olodos everywhere. If you are not supposed to discuss with bank officials on the phone, why do banks have customer care numbers and why are you assigned an account officer? So any issue you have with your account you run to the bank? Another point is,NO ONE,NO ONE can defraud you using just your BVN. |
OhBritannia:You got it. One of the greatest hypocrisy you can observe in Nigeria is with these white garment churches. If you see what the ladies that attend these churches that can trek from Lagos to badagry with their barren feet in the name of holiness,do outside the confines of the church, you would be shocked beyond belief. |
CoronaVirusRelo:Has God himself be proven to be real? There are of course spiritual powers that unconsciously manifest, but the belief that any human being can summon spirits or use a medium to control someone's destiny is pure bunkum. |
God1000:Probity! What a joke. Don't be surprised her corrupt deeds surpassing that of patience. |
youngbabaj:Nigerian journalist, particularly the ill trained glorified bloggers of today, can be inept, but it's actually easy to get an accurate account of what happened if u cultivate your sources well because Nigerians like gossiping. The released lady, any of the security guards or police detail in their homes or beer parlor can easily loose guard and divulge to colleagues, family, superiors or friends what happened. However, won't also be surprised if it's all fake because Sahara Reporters and fake news are like 5 and 6 |
When I see any sane person supporting the likes of omokri, ffk I just shake my head because these are people just looking for where they can feed. |
This formation Tire employed in the midfield is too defensive. Why is he respecting Switzerland so much? In place of Neymar he should have used Rodrygo,Antony or Jesus who can play as a creative or support striker like Neymar. 2 defensive minded players in Fred and casemiro with so much offensive talent on the bench is strange. Hope he doesn't regret these. |
