Everyone I read Omokri's posts or listen to him,I still find it astonishing this man is said to have a best seller and has an audience he influences. His thought process is equivalent to that of a primary school child. So pedestrian in reasoning |
Who would sleep with this one if she was a prostitute? Maybe 80 year Olds and mentally challenged people. |
How many times would this recycled old video used for another politician, not connected to Tinubu or any present presidential candidate,be used? Think then it was found to be for a assembly or chairmanship candidate being fronted by the governor. |
This is the kind of shitty story that puts that junk of an online news media, People'sGazette in trouble. Is it that easy to carry ₦100m cash about and be openly displaying it to soldiers at checkpoints, when any reasonable person knows there maybe some security operatives at these checkpoints who, having seen the cash could quickly organise for it to be stolen b4 it gets to the bandits? Anyway,it's people that read trash stories from PG that are being made to look like f ools. |
Hoping to see the glory days again when Nigeria used to regularly produce medalists or at worst finalists in all the major short sprint events. |
MITCHELL96:Indeed! There was just something in her and the way she narrowly missed a medal spot, coming 4th that made me know here was a genuine Nigerian talent. Sometimes, when you watch some Nigerian athletics, they show flashes in some meets, but once they reach major events, you just know their best would be just reaching the finals, most times even going out through amateur technicalities in qualifying rounds. But Amusan, even without the 4th placing was just to me a great talent. There is this other long jumper,Usoro, that placed 10th or so in the this WAC 2022 finals. Maybe not in the next immediate championships or Olympics, but that is another Nigerian athlete to look out for in the future. |
I saw the talent and predicted her day would come in this world championships and beyond! https://www.nairaland.com/6681789/nigeria-finally-medal-tokyo2020#104355721

Lamasta:Mr man they were charged to court. It is actually an offence to obstruct traffic. On the surface what the pro did was bad,but if you go deeper,he only used his authority to hasten a punishable offence committed by the 3 guys. They even have the nerve to say they were even contemplating walking away after switching off their engine in the middle of a traffic gridlock! The arrogance of Nigerians is so amazing and it takes a uniform authority to humble them most times. Someone bashes the average Nigerian car and the next thing they do,right in the middle of a road is to switch off their engine, come down and start fighting to get the guilty party to repair the dent. Most of the things Nigerians get away with on Nigerian roads are serious traffic offences with heavy fines attached, but here everyone claims right by bravado. |
But why would they turn off their car in the first place? This is common with some Nigerian drivers. In the midst of a traffic snarl and disagreement with other drivers, they just turn off their engines and deliberately block traffic from both sides and dare anyone to do their worse. Now they are trying to blackmail the PRO. It's an arrestable offence. To show their foo lishness, when they later knew who he is and were begged by the DPO to apologize, they hurriedly did.Why didn't they stand on asserting that they hadn't done anything wrong and would be ready to go to court? |
Without any exchange of gunfire? Exchange of gunfire with no single injured officer of the DSS and no usual parade of recovered guns. This lie is too nauseating to be taken serious by even a mentally challenged person. |
This one is trying to use ancient reverse psychology of trying to use the least strong of the major candidates appear to be formidable than the others that are clearly the major threats. Kwankwaso that wouldn't get more than 200k in Kano, the only state where he would perform just ok. How Omokri became a so called best selling author beats me.His thoughts and write-ups does not depict someone with deep insights and intelligence. Who reads any kind of book authored by such an individual,a plagiarist for that matter. |
NwaNimo1:This one needs mental rehabilitation. He always doesn't know the implications of the things he says or does. |
dnor:If an American or European on minimum wage spends 10% (2k fro on 20k minimum wage in Nigeria) or on average wage 2-5% just daily on transport alone, there would have been assassination attempts on the life of the American president and all democratic western governments would have been toppled! |
Ugaboy:How can 2,795 votes out of 800,000 give you 2% plus and 500 give you 0.65%? How can you do any kind of analysis if you can't get simple arithmetic right? |
luluman:Agent of APC keh? I am the happiest person knowing that APC has lost Osun State. The reason I made that statement was that I was so annoyed and had given all hope that common Nigerians can vote out a party simply based on the party's disastrous performance. With the way money played a role in the Ekiti elections,I also believed the same thing would happen in Osun State and that people on that day would forget the unrivalled insecurity, the economic mismanagement, the bigotry and all heinous things the APC goverment has done over the past 7plus years, just for 5k or 10k. I couldn't be more proud of the Osun people and INEC too and just hope other electorates all over the country can use it as a template. 8 years of disastrous leadership by the APC should not be rewarded and the new electoral climate has shown that votes do count,is and should be the weapon of the people of Nigeria. |
But I thought Adeleke is a Muslim,unless I am missing something. |
Congrats Osun people for resisting the APC bribe.Sorry I doubted you guys and women! Congrats INEC because this electronic transmission of results and electoral act has made a lot of difference. The dilemma now at the federal level is now pushing APC out of power but never returning power back to the North,a parasitic, incompetent, nepotic set of religious bigots!! There are options out there and Osun State has shown that our votes count and people, despite their suffering, can resist the pull of vote buying. |
COFFINSELLER666:Nonsense. He is just preempting everything so that at the end of the day if his uncle loses,he would shout rigging and all sorts of accusations. I just read he has started accusing the police in some units of forcing people to vote APC despite rejecting money allegedly given to them. That is going to be the foundation of his/the excuse if Adeleke loses, that people were forced to vote or that some thugs were even thumbprinting for APC or drove away PDP supporters so that only APC supporters could vote. APC is simply outspending PDP and that is the new way of elections in the Southwest. |
Orimogunje51:So PDP candidate is the present governor of Osun State? As I said, unless the governor of any state in the SWest is stingy or naive, the kinds of people that come out to vote and the poverty levels of all states in that region, except Lagos state, makes monetary inducement,a sure formula for winning election in that region at the governorship level. Believe me,I wish I can be wrong and the incumbent APC governor defeated, but Buhari reversed the electoral gains Nigeria achieved before he came to power. Now governorship elections have turned to local government elections where the incumbent state party sweeps all the chairmanship and councilorship contests,by hook or crook. |
Na so! After the results are declared and APC declared winner the next thing you would hear is APC bribed voters and how people collected ₦10k and even ₦15k from APC while the PDP was offering 5-7k. The fact is except for Lagos State in the Southwest, most Eastern states and some states in the NorthEast and Northwest where the indigenes on a good day can vote in a popular candidate of their choice, despite the inducement;there is no state in the Southwest that would not be won with monetary inducement. You only have to know what your opponent is offering and top it.Only a stingy and naive incumbent governor in the Southwest can lose an election. With just ₦2- ₦5billion of a governors security vote in the Southwest,an election in the SW can be won comfortably by the ruling party. |
How do people eople react and conclude on a story that is so flimsy? |
This is exactly what I said about the likes of Reno in another post.
|
Those supporting the likes of Reno,FFK,Sowore and others that now turn against the two when it doesn't favour them, have only themselves to blame and should be embarrassed to now suddenly turnaround on these two men. If by their initial actions and behaviours you could not realise these 2 are people that are solely after what they can gain from anyone they perceive can put food on their table and put them in positions of authority, then your education and brain capacity should be questioned. If it would suit his aim and his pocket, this same Reno would turnaround tomorrow and call GEJ a far worse president than Buhari. These are the kinds of persons their likes are, full of deceit, lacking in principles and a cursory look into their lives, academic, work related or domestic, would reveal cupboard full of far more skeletons than their fake outward appearance presents. |
See what Buhari has bequeathed. At least GEJ kept terrorism local and confined bokoharam to the Borno and Yobe. Buhari's unrivalled, monumental incompetence has allowed the local BH to now become an internationally linked and backed terrorist organisation that has not only extended beyond the states of the northeast, but now attack all kinds of institutions and structures with utmost freedom and confidence. |
Carlosdd:Olodo. A gallon of fuel today in the US is $5 which is about ₦3000 I bet you don't know a gallon and litre are not the same. Since your brain cannot process even the simple things, let me help you further;a(1)gallon is about 4 litres. Therefore a litre of fuel in the US today is 3000/4=₦750. So where did your 6k-10k per litre come in? Better go back to a primary school and start your schooling all over because you can't do a simple 1,2,3 talkless how to read or comprehend information. Seun has abandoned nairaland and it's now filled with dunces and drop-outs from school, aside scammers and bloggers with made up stories. |
Talk is cheap. Even the western countries and the US,the most capitalist sets in the world and the chief advocates of subsidy removal, with the suffering their citizens are experiencing and the increasing protests are looking for ways to subsidise cost of fuel. Some have even started subsiding it by directly giving cash incentives for their citizens to buy fuel. |
Premiumwriter:For watching someone kick a ball for just 90mins in a week he is paid $1m~₦600million! For watching Davido,a musician play on stage for about an hour or two he earns nothing less than ₦10-20million. So what's your point? Entertainers,no matter the variety earn far more than academics including geniuses all over the world. Cry as you may, what an entertainer or entertainment show offers an academic cannot. It's like you asking why does a policeman or soldier that risks his/her life gets peanuts, but a minister or permanent secretary that just signs documents earns 10-20times the average policeman's salary. |
If Sowore gets up to 10k votes in the election,it would be one of the greatest miracles of the 21st century. |
ECASH120:Your channel has already failed with deception. This is not the way to go. |
