emmanuel596: Nigerian government needs to place centers across the country to train people about having mindsets that keeps them poor for ever...so if my father is a pastor and I want to do business the only business I should think about should be selling of bible and annoiting oil abi...the man that posted this on Facebook what does he do for a living? I'm telling you! The ordinary Nigerian mindset really needs to be reworked. Our stereotypical thinking is one the major problems we have in this country. That's why nollywood movies are so predictable because once you see KanayoOKanayo in the movie there must be ritual, once you see Patience, there must be a wicked mother in law somewhere in the story. MTCHEEWWWWWW I'm sure if Adeboye were to be a white man and his daughter in law is found to own such a shop, nobody will talk because they will think it's okay. |

Sirwallace: sir, I presumed you don't value education, never get education and not intending to educate your wards. anybody can venture into any business like the young lady in question, but the outcome from a learned graduate will surely outweigh that of an illiterate. never rule out getting education, its good if you can afford but don't criticize those getting it because you don't value it. if education is expensive, try ignorance. Actually, on the contrary, I value education so much... but not the type of education you guys are mindlessly pursuing in most Nigerian tertiary institutions. You guys are so bent on acquiring that important certificate at the expense of getting the real education which is supposed to make you think and effect positive and productive changes in so many areas of your lives. Just tell me the truth, how many electrical engineers do you think we are graduating from our various institutions every year? But yet, since you were born, I'm sure you are well aware that Nigeria has always faced the problems of erratic power supply. So, what does that tell you? Why is it so practically impossible for our certified Bachelor of Engineering electrical engineers to put their heads together and figure out a way for us out of this national disgrace of insufficient power supply? This is exactly what you get out of a failed educational system where acquisition of certificates is much prized over acquiring the real knowledge that focuses more on thinking, creativity and solutions provision. Fully certified but empty-headed graduates everywhere! And oh by the way, before you think I am dissing you, just be aware that I myself, I am a fully certified Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in... you guessed right... ELECTRICAL engineering! How ironical? But the truth is that anytime someone refers to me as an engineer, I die inside because it feels like the person is mocking me. |

lestat: It's my opinion that marriage is for better for worse, now if he doesn't cheat, he doesn't beat her he provides for his family , he is caring but she is upset he doesn't look like he walked out of a GQ magazine? The issue she should be facing is why isn't she happy with what she has and instead of bitching about it try and make things work ... Trust me if she moves to another guy maybe the next issue will be why he doesn't shave his beard ? She is shallow and naieve that's her issue . You talk as if you don't understand human beings abi human nature. The thing with people is that people are never completely satisfied. Most especially women. There must always be one thing or another to bïtch about. If the said husband starts dressing well now, don't be surprised to see the wife saying that he's spending more money on his clothing than on the needs of the entire family. Or she might even start suspecting or even accusing him of looking too good because of another woman or women outside. That's one thing with people - always looking for something to complain about. Believe it or not, some of the people cussing buhari now were the same set of people who cussed Johnny boy. Humans can never be truly satisfied! |

Adiwana: Oga,that's a big Fat lie saying your certificate is a decorated piece of Paper.Seriously? Then what's the meaning of the word "Certified"? For you to Get a Certificate, isn't it all about having that " Knowledge, skills&Experience"? Being put into a part indicating you have the aforementioned. I hate it When people just criticise cause they want to
And to Poster that said Bill gates&Mark didn't see the four walls of a university, its nothing but pure ignorance.Do some research.Wasn't Mark Taught Programming?Did he learn it from the Sky?Stop blaming Education for your problems. That you feel you wasted "4/5yrs" in school doesn't mean if you invest that time in making money, you would be rich.Stop complaining and do smth meaningful with your life You are missing the point. Sorry to say it, but your certificate is completely worthless. Have you ever bothered to ask yourself what a certified Guidance and Counselling graduate or a certified zoologist is doing in a bank as a staff? What it means is that I can as well train my neighbour's son in SS3 to do the same job in the bank rather than sending him to spend four to five worthless years in the university just for him to become a certified zoologist. At least, I know that with his knowledge and experience, he will function well as a banker with or with no certificate... I don't know if you're getting my point now? |

NaijaMutant: I have always rationed that a lucrative business pays better than certificates.
But with the rigors of passing your O'level and hustling for Jamb till you secure an admission into the University, the turbulence of graduating from the university and begging to be mobilised for NYSC. The Nigerian situation of a graduate is peculiar.
In saner climes a graduate deserves better than selling moi-moi There's nothing like in saner climes. Your certificate is nothing but a decorated coloured piece of paper. Anybody can get that. But what really matters is your knowledge, skills & experience and how to apply them to solve people's problems. That's where you'll agree with me so many of you so called Nigerians graduates are seriously and shamefully lacking. |

Tochex101: I think its just pure greed, this betting is an Art and a business, its not for fun. Why on earth will someone choose a market like correct score and invest his hard end money. Did you not see the odd? Its called odd for a reason, it literally means chances/probability. There are better markets out there to explore, I mean which stats would one look out for if he chooses correct score as his preferred market; its too long a shot. Don't mind the young man. Probably, he's new to sportsbetting which explains why he thinks he can put the odds to his favour by playing the correct scores market. |
