Because something must kill a man. My grandfather smoked till his last day on earth yet he flexed and rocked till he passed on in his late nineties after witnessing the death of some friends and colleagues from childhood (who didn't smoke of course). Reliable family sources say he picked up smoking in his teens so you can do the calculation yourself  . Not drinking, smoking or eating junk isn't a guarantee one would grow old. We might as well live a life and enjoy it to the fullest and bow out when it's time to exit coz in the end, everyone dies. Nigerian roads can surely be a catalyst that'd speed up the labour of a pregnant woman. Even a man who just finished eating could get stomach upset from the topsy-turvy caused by potholes on our darling country's roads, not to talk of a pregnant woman .Thankfully this woman's case went without complications. Yeah I agree. Life is fleeting and absolutely fragile. One minute, someone's here the next they are gone. Sometimes I'd be in my room and then I'd remember loved ones I've lost and ask myself if they're truly gone... An uncle of mine I hold in high esteem recently lost his wife. They were soul mates. Over 40 years together. I could see the sheer grief and pain in his eyes. If only people realised how fragile life is, they'd learn to appreciate the things that matter. Anyways, everyone is gonna die, it's the sad reality of life. It's left to us as humans to live a life worthy enough to be remembered 3 Likes |
