35824L:oh....is that who u are? An aboki ethnic bigot? |
Lovelive:lol...nigerians are so lukewarm. Maybe because of the tribal angle such protests can take. The algerians are back in the streets just after 2 months of forcing the expresident to step down....they are forcing the new president to step down too....yet govs are scared to sponsor protests for something as important as state police. Unfortunate...really |
35824L:i will do it eventually if i have to. But i want to 1st put the idea out there and read feedback |
35824L:awarness must be created first and a platform is required. If i was an influential person like oby ezekwesili i will enter road alone....but i need a platform |
In the U.S there are 3 major types of police agency: (1) the federal system, consisting of the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice, including the FBI, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Secret Service, the Postal Inspection Service, and many others; (2) police forces and criminal investigation agencies established by each of the 50 states of the union; (3) sheriffs’ departments in several thousand counties, plus a few county police forces that either duplicate the sheriffs’ police jurisdictions or displace them |
Bolustical:stop all these nonsense....really. |
We call ourselves the ''federal republic of nigeria''. There is absolutely nothing ''federal'' about nigeria. We depend on the central govt for everything simply because northerners want it that way, because that is the only system of govt that can make them control what is going on in other regions Well, the chickens are coming home to sleep now. Poverty is high in the north, insecurity is high in the country, war songs are being chanted, politics has become do or die for ethnic groups because of the need to control Abuja. We are sitting on tinder now. The country could explode any time now. All that needs to happen is for a few herdsmen to be killed in the south and boom reprisals will happen in the north and more will happen in the south and before you know it, the army is involved and killing innocents. We can prevent all these by creating state police and allowing each state governor control its security. Protests must happen across Nigerian cities like we have done because of fuel prices. Labour must go on strike until state police is created by senate. Ipman, ASUU, and all other pressure groups must forget about everything now and start agitating for state police. Let the federal govt control only Dss and efcc...the existing NPF has to be unbundled and given to states to control. At least a state police force should be 80% incharge of security within the state while Dss (federal police) can compliment it. |
thesicilian:there is no indignity in that....its called show biz. If u cant show...u cant blow in the biz. If they can act it in a nollywood film....they can do it life...no shame in being part of something |
PatrickOkunima:no distinction? I'm sure u knw wat i meant |
1 million dollars for a duplex in abuja...no light, no pipe water, no city emergency services like 911 or ambulances...meanwhile u can get same 6 bedroom in atlanta for 600k dollars....nigerians are too greedy ![]() |
Dozie my man...he got distiction again in his masters |
Nemesis909:my friend dan fodio was a mass murderer....he wasnt the 1st or 2nd fulani to wage a religious war against his state....he isnt the last either....i think u guys nw want to launder his image now that fulani attrocities are widely known |
OndoUpdates:Aro Elizabeth and Ojo Victor are Biafrans schooling in oodua republic. Oodua and Biafra amaka.....aboki ajoka facts only |
Nemesis909:lol...is that ur new story about a mass murderer? Did muhammed too not wage war? Lol |
Deadlytruth:Lt. Col. Arthur Unegbe |
Isinweke:these are official figures bro...ur 7 million is unofficial and only what you think |
Yyeske:Answer the question bro...are yoruba muslims really worried about the ongoing fulani jihad or are they playing both sides. How can tinubu (the face of yoruba muslims), come out openly to accuse igbos of being behind the killing of the afenifere woman? When eye witnesses said the killers were fulani camped in the nearby bush. It might be because yoruba muslims (just like middle belt muslims) are in support of islam spreading thru out nigeria anyhow |
TooMuchStuff:i think a state police is a better option....nobody will leave their biz and start carrying arms....only fulani will do that and if its wat u want, they will win u there. Its time to start a sudan type of protest to call for the creation of state police. Chikena |
Yyeske:can a yoruba muslim like you really lead a protest against the forceful spread of islam in nigeria? Be sincere bro |
Yyeske:I am on ground...ready to lead the protest for the creation of state police |
Afamed:Therefore, for Buhari to win in 2019, he will have to depend on rigging in SE, SS, and NC. He will win the SW but he will have to also try and Rig either NW or NE, depending on the region the PDP candidate is from. Otherwise Buhari will lose 2019. His only sure base are SW and one of the core northern regions. The remaining 4 regions are up for grabs by PDP. |
The data above is omnious. Fulanis are the most wide spread ethnic group in Africa and 2nd most wide spread in the world after the British. How do some of you fools think they came to be in all these countries? Through RUGA you insufferable twerps. How can you fools not see this? The south has only one option now to fight with; Creation of State Police. If you stupid and weak southern leaders are reading this, this is the time to sponsor nation wide protests calling for the establishment of state police and the amendment of the constitution to enable states to equip their own police force. |
Population of Fulanis in West Africa and Central Africa Nigeria 15,311,000 Guinea 5,070,160 Senegal 3,182,300 Mali 2,870,000 Cameroon 2,344,000 Niger 2,046,330 Burkina Faso 1,920,050 Mauritania 916,113 Ghana 800,523 Benin 750,000 Guinea-Bissau 517,560 Gambia 491,399 Ivory Coast 479,000 Chad 352,580 Central African Republic 287,187 Sierra Leone 258,860 Sudan 211,000 Togo 111,000 |
Does the bolded sound familiar? Are there some liberal muslims from the south making this same mistake of aiding ''fulani pastorialist'' to rise against the south? |
The Fula (or Fulani) jihads (sometimes the Fulani revolution) were a series of jihadist wars that occurred across West Africa during the 18th and 19th centuries led largely by the Muslim Fula people. The jihads and the jihad states came to an end with European colonization. The first uprising inspired by Islam took place in Futa Jalon in 1725, when Fula pastoralists, assisted by Muslim traders, rose against the indigenous chiefdoms still dominated by traditional religion. By 1750, the Fula had established an imamate and placed the region under sharia law. Their success inspired the Fula and Toucouleurs on the banks of the lower Senegal to establish their own imamate, Futa Toro, through a series of wars between 1769 and 1776. In the early 19th century, the jihad movement spread eastward to the Hausa states. The result of a series of jihads begun in 1804 by the revolutionary Usman dan Fodio was the Sokoto Caliphate, the largest state in West Africa up to that time. An aggressively expansionist polity, it severely weakened the old Bornu Kingdom. At the start of the 19th century Ilorin was a border town in the northeast of the Oyo Empire, with a mainly Yoruba population but with many Hausa and Fulani immigrants. It was the headquarters of an Oyo General, Afonja, who rebelled against the empire and helped bring about its collapse with the assistance of the Fulani. The rebellion was powered by Nupe and Bornu Moslem slaves. Afonja had been assisted by Salih Janta, also called Shehu Alimi, a leader of the local Fulani. In 1824 Afonja was assassinated and Alimi's son Abdusalami became Emir. Ilorin became an emirate of the Sokoto Caliphate. Although religion was a motivator for the jihads, it may not have been the principal motivator over time; the Fula intended to produce the captives needed to sell as slaves to gain valuable imports from the coast.

Old perverts...lol What these top men in abuja are doing to young girls eh....see them looking like gentlemen...many of them have engaged in threesomes this year alone |
TheFacelessMan:i am no fan of the idiot....but the truth is his coup was done to benefit awolowo. Dont forget he was from western region b4 1964. He benefitted from awolowo's free education and believed in awolowo's ideas. He was only igbo by blood. He was hausa by orientation and a westerner by politics...his coup was directly targeted at leaders who had a hand in the travails of awolowo...thats why it seemed he spared igbo leaders...not really...he killed some |
goldenarrow:i hope u are talking about abiola and opc members? Yes i agree |
YorubaHero12:nzeogwu was no hero. He was a misguided young man. Exuberant and brash |
ycat:so why did u bring igbo into wetin no concern us? Go and solve ur problems...we dont bring u guys into our problem. We face our issues alone...learn it |
