fxuser: Awon ti transcorp - d supply holding ur break out is almost finished , dis cud be ur week
a little TA update from my JJC notes - N1.10 is very important , acted as major support from 2018 to 2019 July - the break below saw a further sell off ( average price for most would have been above n1.10 - price has been consolidating under N1,10 which flipped form support to resistance, which makes every holder prior to July to be under water so the supply at that level takes time to diminish in future - over months N1.10 is the highest weekly close , tested many times with buyers consolidating under forming a long range support just above n1.00 - last 3 week candles is interesting, my summary: 1) the bear trap: price rejected its weekly low retesting below N1.00 support level but closed above 2) Followed by Bullish brk out forming a morning star (see wkly chart), like say the buyers take formation loll 3) then last week *doji* at N1.06 . . . umm
#swingBUY Hav a blessed week pipu Thanks my Bros. I know it is a matter of time. No matter how long it takes there would be light after the turnel I am fully loaded, I only care for advice on this only if I borrow money to buy |

RabbiDoracle: No. So that they can exit and stay on the sidelines.
When you see heavy volumes like that being bought and sold, it means that these dudes are selling. Short terms investors are selling to secure little profit long termers are buying to move market for big profits, if they dont the market would collapse into bull trap.
I think they are more TA than FA. They just work solely on the charts. That is why MSCI could have Oando on their portfolio. No FA person would suggest such. Having Oando is more of FA than TA 1. Going corncern basis, Cheap- marging of safety, cycical nature of oil price, It is gradually overcoming structural issues. TA is based on price action, Oando is not yet supported.
Like we all know, the main bull, within 1 hour of trading, market has entered into full bid with bids piling up. These are signs of a major bull. But I am not seeing that. Hence my concern on the 2nd and 3rd of January 2020 trading. That would occure at phase 2 and partly phase 3 when the herd joins the movement |

below is from investment one, please not me:
Dear Valued Investor,
We pose this question to you: What are you waiting for? Almost all the pointers for an uptick in the Nigerian bourse are green. What has been your reason for staying out of the market? Reasonable returns in the safer Fixed Income Assets? An underlying fear that the market will dip further? Trade war and Brexit uncertainty? Low oil price scare? Deliberate no further. The best time to buy is now! A critical look at the aforementioned factors will reveal that the tide is now flowing in a favorable direction for investors who have been skeptical and wary of equity investments. Following CBN’s restriction on Open Market Operations (OMO), investors have been left with limited asset classes to invest in. Treasury bill rates have continued to drop with the 91-day tenor reaching its 12-month low of 3.5% while that of the 182-day and 364-day tenors closed at 4.9% and 5.2% respectively. With inflation (currently at 11.85%) set to inch higher, dark clouds hover over the bond market as well with yields on the 5yr and 10yr benchmark bond yields currently at 10.29% and 11.15% respectively. No discerning or rational investor would invest in an asset class that would generate negative real returns! Another upside for an uptick in the equities market is the fact that over the last two years, the market has sadly lost 32% in value, indicating ideal entry prices for most stocks listed on the Exchange. Notable also is the 7.10x PE ratio of the NSE compared to that of Frontier Markets (10.55x) and Emerging Markets (15.63x). Simply put, the NSE is trading at a discount when compared to its contemporaries. In the same vein, the improved valuations as a result of the recent sell-off should support decent dividend yields as we expect investors to take position for the full year 2019 results to be released in Q1 2020. Global events which have historically influenced market movements and informed foreign investors decisions appear to have taken a turn for good; whichever way you look at them. Trade talks between the US and China seem to be progressing smoothly, the UK and the EU have a clearer direction for Brexit, no proposed rate hikes by most Central Banks and more recently the tensions in the Middle East, following an attack on Iran by the US, which has had an immediate positive effect on oil price (currently trading at US$68.86/barrel). Again, what are you waiting for? Looking Green Already The market has closed positive in the five trading sessions so far this year; as a result, the equities market is up 6.41% year to date with volume and value traded equally on an upward trajectory. We envisage that this trend may continue especially for a better part of Q1 2020. With PFAs set to commence their inevitable return to the equities market, the uptick may be further sustained given the huge amount of funds yearning to be invested. Do not be left out. Ride the tide. Take positions now. |

Drakky47: Good morning everyone please what's the best time to invest in stock and I would really like to know the stock market to invest in thanks We are at the early stage of bull market. You can invest now and make decent profit. Depending on the nature of investor you are, conservative or agressive. Zenith bank is still good at current price with peace of mind. UBA is getting out of hands, FBNH is cool too all these are running fast leaving limited upside room. |

austinkenneth: 15th May 2019, NSE All Share Index = 28,286
22nd May 2019, NSE All Share Index = 31,145
Gain in one week: 10% similar to what we are seeing now.
The market slowly but surely gave up its gains. That sounds like a pump and distribute to me.
People rushed in in their numbers, people sold other assets to key-in....FOMO went into full swing.
fast forward to:
2nd Aug 2019, NSE All share index =27,630....11% loss from the high.
Newbies started saying...You see, this market is a fraud. I knew it.
People should just be careful. The key thing is to not be caught holding the short end of the stick. If you are a student of the market, what you said is the right thing to happen under that context, We should take time to study and understand how the market works. When there is no where to go up again it comes down when there is no where to go down again it goes up. Accumulation and distribution theory at work. Read it and use it to your advantage. |

kolaish: Personally, I do not think the bull will last more than 17 January 2020. The bull was brought about by money coming from PFAs and other institutional investors that have exited treasury bill because of the low turnout to position themselves in stock that can offer higher dividend yield.
We should watch our backs and be on alert not to be caught unaware. Remember that all the gains we have remains paper gain/profit until it is sold. Babalawo Rabbi is partially right, only that no one can perfectly predict the market.
Disclosure: Yours truly exited UBA yesterday. Bought at 6.04 and sold at 8.80. Would exit FBNH if it reaches around 8.5. I bought at 6.07. Meanwhile, I am still on a no gain, no lost position on FO because I bought at average price of 16.70. Transcorp is yet to meet my entry price of 1.16, but will consider selling if it reaches that 1.16, not to tie my capital down unnecessarily again. All these are coming because you follow some folks? Sorry you have not seen anything yet. Just refuse to be tempted. QED |

RabbiDoracle: The volumes were too much in this bullish ride. Prices normally should accelerate faster with less volume because people don't want to relinquish theur units if you don't pay higher. But people seem to be relinquishing them and not sending the prices higher. This became a concern to me.
I don't know why it is so. I am guessing if it could be the events around the world.
NSE is about entering a good 2 year phase like you noted in one of your post yesterday but let's be careful now. Yeah, notting beat patience in fundamentally strong stock. When value is noted market sooner or latter will gravitate their. |
