We should explore other ways of discipline that does not involve the cane. The cane has never worked.

You are super correct.

The child is like a watch which needs to be set when the time is wrong.

You don't go smashing your watch because the time doesn't read right.

Rather, you look for the right time, patiently rewind and set it to the correct time.

To train a child, you need to use lots of love, communication, rewinding them with lots of remainders and patience.

If you do it right, you will never need a cane.

My dad never used the cane (physical violence) on me and no harsh abusive words (emotional abuse) either.

I turned out okay.

I train my children in the same way and so far it's been good.

I'm not in support of any kind of extra curricular activity outside the school premises.

I talk to my children and spouse about these kind of incidents alot.

So right there and then, when an excursion is mentioned, without me getting to school, my kids tell their teachers:

I have always known Flutterwave to be a corrupt entity.

I made a payment through them to MallForAfrica and till today, the money entered voicemail. I complained to MallForAfrica and they blamed Flutterwave, I sent a ticket to Flutterwave and they blamed my bank (GTB) but deep down in me, I knew it was them (Flutterwave) that stole the money.

I also heard of stories from people who used them as a payment processor or their online services and payment gateway...they remit money from customers and it reflects on the dashboard of the clients but they would never remit to their bank accounts.

So with all this, I am not surprised!

I work with law enforcement in a foreign country. I specialise in electronics crimes and I must say OMG. We receive a very high volume of credit card fraud, most of which the beneficiary is flutterwave. Scammers and cybercriminals use it as a safe heaven.

You said it all. I remembered how a relative's account was cleared using flutterwave. The money was gone without trace.

So much investigations was carried on that case with no help from them.

Yes they do practice it, just take a sample of 10 Jehovah's Witnesses family you can see around and confirm it. No family is perfect but they work hard to keep their family in the way Jesus Christ taught Christians. They are the only religion i have observed with very minimal divorce rate, and when it happens you will even discover that its usually one of the couple is not a true JW. A true JW will not divorce unless there is a case of adultery involved and even in most cases, they do forgive and turn a new leaf.

My mum have never liked my wife to the extend of wishing her death when she lost our first baby and I had disowned her for saying that. So far we haven't had any contact since the incident and we are finally proud parents of twins boy and girl born in February. My stepmother have been here for us since day 1 she is in my house taking care of my wife and babies , my mum called saying that she want to come over and take care of my wife and kids and will be spending a month . I lied to her that my wife is with her sister and will let her know when she is back to the house so she can come over. To be Frank I don't want her near my wife because she doesn't likes her and I don't think she have any good plan for us. Did I do the right thing for lying to her my wife is not around or should I give her the chance to come over and see if she have truly change?
