At the moment,Nigerian comedian Teju Babyface is soaring higher in Ghana.

The talented comedian cum Events Compere has suddenly become the new darling of Ghanaians since his TV show,The Teju Baby Show started running in Ghana some weeks back.

Teju became the first Nigerian comedian to be running a weekly show in Ghana when he struck a deal with Accra-based Viasat 1 not long ago.

Since the TV show, which airs on Saturday nights started,Ghanaians have formed a good taste for it and no one wants to miss the Teju Babyface Show every week.

This has really upped Teju’s profile in Ghana no doubt.
^^ That small boy of yesterday has really come a long way and that is show is ''muah'' kiss

I'm sure a few Ghanaian celebrities will be appearing on his show soon with this development cos he has to cater to the Ghanaian viewing public too. . .

Mikel hit with $5K fine

http://www.kickoff.com/news/24687/nigeria-midfielder-john-mikel-obi-fined-for-late-arrival.php
Nigeria midfielder John Mikel Obi has been fined $5000 for failing to meet a Tuesday deadline to report to the Nigeria team camp.

The Super Eagles have a decisive 2012 African Nations Cup qualifier against Guinea and players were given a lunchtime deadline on Tuesday to report.

All except Mikel did. The Chelsea star called to ask for an extra day to take care of family issues.

The request did not go down well with team officials and a decision was taken to slap a hefty fine on the player.

Mikel will now arrive on Wednesday, but has already missed two training sessions.

Since taking over, Samson Siasia has clamped down hard on indiscipline within the squad, leading to widely-publicised issues with players.

But his style has support from the majority o fthe squad, and his immediate bosses at the NFF.

And for the first time in recallable memory, all but one player had reported to the team hotel within 24 hours of camp opening.

horny4u: I agree with rich and with opportunity being the action word here, I will say opportunity is the culprit not your husband what you need to do is remove opportunity.

No better way to do that then put the kids in a private school, move into a bigger house, stand with a project expand the big house, Once there is no money for frivolities and so much on his hand , opportunity will be erased.

Also please be many women , it works for most roving eyes, when he comes back from work and you are felicia the ashawo (wig + sluttty make up), tommorow you are Maureen the secretary (Nerd glasses and mini black skirt), next tommorow you are cat the dominatrix (french stockings and whip with commanding tone) , he will not know what to expect since you will be changing hair and make up, You can google this roles remember na only of una no one needs to know say na u spoil finish just u and him. wink

I am sure you are good at BJ butterfly flick , hover etc, You got him emotionally thats why he married you but we women tend to relent in our bedmatics forgetting that there better be no slluuttt like a wifey.

Even if it is once a week dash the kids to your mum for that day you are organising this yeye charade for him, just humour him after all he is biggest resource, and NO OTHER WOMAN MUST TOUCH.

i forgot to add that you need to keep your eye on the money , when surplus come frivolities, make sure he is investing that money on your kids and their furture , he is your resource not theirs.

I know Facing the Giants was made by the same company that made Fireproof. It was after I watched Fireproof and I liked it so much that I read up on the film and downloaded Facing the Giants thinking it'd be as good since it's by the same company.

^ And where in my post did I say A Walk To Remember is a christian film? Saying a movie conveys a "subtle" christian message is not the same as it being a Christian movie. . .

If you think am deeply, nothing really special in this.

Quite a few Lecturers in the Department of Modern European Languages in many Uni's in Nigeria have Ph.D's in languages like Russian, German, Spanish etc

However, I gats admit an Oyinbo bagging a Ph.D in an indigenous Nigerian language is a rarity.

Kudos to him cos Ph.D no be mai mai

@ topic,
Finally finished Tansformers- Dark of the Moon [2011]

Na only small pikin go dey wowed by the film. . .4.5

ogaga4luv: This movie was absolutely horrible. I seen the advertisements and thought "Hey, it's a football movie Grin Grin. I like football. The religious aspect can't be that bad." Holy crap, was I ever wrong. This is just another brainwashing movie about how if you devote yourself to god, you'll never fear anything and you'll live a happy life .

I don't even understand how they pass this for believable in this day and age. From all of the indications in this film, it's just a normal public high school. But they're allowing the faculty to preach Christianity angry angry . Haven't these writers ever heard of the separation of church and state. , huh  Huh  Ugh, I loathe the ignorance of bible thumpers
It was made by Sherwood Pictures, the Film production company of Sherwood Baptist Church, USA so wetin you expect? It gats propagate the message of their faith nah tongue grin

Anyway, I'm not surprised this is coming from you but still I kinda agree with you about the film not being too good. Let me tell you why. . .

^^ The Script wasn't a good one to begin with. I mean, who writes a script like that in this time & age undecided

^^ The casts of the film (the coach, 2 assistant coaches, wife of the coach, ''wheel-chair'' man & his son etc) all performed below par. Their acting looked forced & unconvincing & they delivered their lines as if they were reading from slips of paper or had a case of bad cramming. Most times, they didn't sufficiently convey the emotions of their words on the faces too.

^^ Another minus for me was the forceful nature in which the movie attempted to propagate it's message. . .as in, it was too ''fire'' & 'brimstone'' in it's approach. 10 minutes hardly went by in the film without ''God'', ''Jesus'', a christian principle etc being mentioned  in one context or another undecided. At a point, I felt like I was watching a Mount Zion Production (Tunde Bamgboye) Nollywood movie. . . the only difference were the white actors lol grin

I mean, why Pastor go dey talk with mic and still dey shout on top hin voice? undecided Na so me take see the film. See films like A Walk To Remember & Fireproof for what I mean about subtlety in conveying a christian message and Facing the Giants could have conveyed it's message more subtly.

^^ Lastly, the film was too ''cliche'', predictable and a little unrealistic. see o. . .

- He & his wife have been trying to conceive for years but he has a medical problem and can't impregnate his wife. His wife is feeling unwell, she goes to the hospital for a checkup and she's does a pregnancy test and she's given the result which shows she NOT pregnant. As she enters her car and is about driving away, an attendant appears and tells the Doc there was a mix-up and the result she was given was the wrong one. Doc dashes out to the car park and tells the lady she's pregnant. Yaay. . .God works in mysterious ways grin

- The guy coaches a high school football team made up largely of mediocre players, and their best player leaves them to join another school. The coach adopts a new philosophy of praying before and after every match (If na so, Super Eagle no suppose dey lose any match cos the team prays 4 times during games grin) and all of a sudden things start going right for his team, they start winning games and eventually make it to the regional finals. In the regional finals, they lose narrowly but guess what. . .every disappointment na ________ __ ________ so the other school gets disqualified for fielding ineligible players shocked and they go on to the state finals where they defeat a far superior side in a game in which the winning point was scored by the most unlikely player grin

- He drives a rickety car which hardly starts & gives him lots of problems and just cos he reconciles one of his players with his father, the father presents him with a brand new pick up truck. etc etc etc.

That 5 wey I rate am, I just dash am cos na me own grin

marutimon: I reported Brown Smiley

30/09/2011 (Friday)

German Bundesliga 2nd Div.
Alemannia Aachen - FSV Frankfurt 1:3
53' Macauley Chrisantus (FSV Frankfurt) (1:1)
69' Macauley Chrisantus (FSV Frankfurt) (1:2)
86' Macauley Chrisantus (FSV Frankfurt) (1:3)
Classic hattrick + he scored with his left foot, right foot and his head. The first goal is nice, the other two are predatory goals. I believe this is Chrisantus's first career hattrick and hopefully its a sign that he is finally fulfilling his promise. That puts his tally up to 5 goals for the season.

Phones › Re: did you ever read that User manual ? by semid4lyfe(m):
Lol. . .I'm also very guilty of this. Let me give a specific example. . . .

I bought my laptop (a Hp pavillion dv6900 Special Edition) in 2008 and it came with a wireless mouse amongst other things. I got home, brought out the lapy from the carton and switched it on. I then brought out the wireless mouse and inserted the battery, switched it on and tried using it with the laptop and it didn't work.

I was like ''Kiniyi o sise jor'' (this thing nor work jare) and dumped the mouse back in the carton and exed the mousegrin. About a year later, I met someone with exactly my laptop but he was navigating his with the wireless mouse. I then approached him and asked him ''Bros, I have exactly this lapy but since I bought it, the mouse didn't work'' and the guy asked me ''did you plug the transmitter''?

^^And I replied ''which transmitter?. . .I just put the batteries in it, switched it on and checked to see my lapy bluetooth was ON and when I tried using the mouse, it didn't work. . .abi nor be bluetooth e dey use?'' grin huh The guy laughed and replied ''NO, it doesn't use bluetooth. . as you can see my bluetooth is OFF and the mouse is working . . . it actually uses a transmitter and it's inside the mouse. . .you have to remove the transmitter from inside the mouse and plug in the laptop, then it'd install the mouse drivers and it'll start working''. He then opened his mouse to show me where the transmitter will be.

So I got home later that day, brought out the mouse, opened it and the transmitter was exactly where he said it'd be. I then plugged it in the laptop and after it installed it's drivers, the mouse started working.

To cut a long story short, I denied myself of using the wireless mouse for a long time simply cos I didn't read the laptop manual. . .and GOD know how much I hate using the mouse on laptops.

If you think I've changed as a result of that experience, you're on a long thing cos I still don't read user manuals grin tongue
