Na only four days lol? There has been a dramatic improvement in my area since July but this month takes the cake cos in the past 3 weeks, the total hours I've been without light hasn't been more than 5/6 hours Funnily enough, this improvement in power supply didn't lead to an increase in my monthly PHCN bill as my bill for August was just N1031.10 unlike previous months when I used to get a bill between N2000 - N2500 . . . .with the irregular & epileptic power supply Kudos to GEJ |

Fireproof [2008] An awesome CHRISTIAN movie. A simple story that is deep, thought provoking, teaches a lot of moral lessons and the acting was okay too. Highly recommended for any couple having difficulties or struggling in their marriage. 8/10 |

marutimon: BTW: Anthony Ujah moved to Mainz after his goalstorm in Norway and has fallen off the radar.Watched Anthony Ujah play for Mainz as a substitute in their 1-3 loss to Kaiserslaurten in the Bundesliga on Saturday. His problem is that he doesn't start for them and only makes late substitute appearances so his goal scoring chances are limited |

marutimon: Found it! John Chibuike below - mostly goals against IK Start.Watched it. . . noticed he's naturally left footed but also uses his right fairly well and has some ''silky'' skills Not a bad player and it wouldn't be bad to have someone like him attacking down the left wing for the Eagles By the way, how many goals does Kim Ojo of SK Brann have now? |

^^and why is Egypt still 2nd in Africa despite not winning a single match in AFCON 2012 qualifiers, being the whipping team and languishing at the bottom of their group? Won't be surprised to wake up tomorrow and see England @ No 1 FIFA ranking is RUBBISH |

@marutimon, I wonder where this thread would be without you Anyway, no worry. . . hopefully you'll get your reward @ the end of the year I've watched some of the goals and all I can say is Naija get players o. Emmanuel Emenike, Kennedy Igboananike and Sylvester Igboun's goals in particular were very good. Eguavoen and Siasia need to give some of these lesser known players a chance |

| TV/Movies › Re: Will Kelani's New Film Maami With Funke Akindele Be A Revolution In Nollywood? by semid4lyfe(m): 8:33pm On Sep 20, 2011 |
Tunde Kelani is head and shoulders above his colleagues and is a movie maker in a class of his own in Nigeria. In fact, I attribute Kunle Afolayan's recent successes with his own movies to his "apprenticeship" with TK. However, I've got my reservations about Funke Akindele cos I'm not convinced she's a good actress but maybe with TK directing her. . .who knows? Looking forward to this one but meanwhile make e nor wack like that hin Campus Queen movie o |

| Sports › Re: Is Yakubu Aiyegbeni Slowly Regaining Confidence Back? by semid4lyfe(mod): 9:31pm On Sep 19, 2011 |
Hmm. . . Yakubu is a proven striker at club level and I doubt of if any of the current crop of Super Eagles strikers has a better record but Yakubu doesn't exactly fit into the scheme of things in the Super Eagles right now. . . .what he has could be brought into the team by many other strikers. I'll rather see new strikers like Michael Uchebo. . .a kanu-esque player with pace, Kim Ojo, Anthony Ujah, Simon Zenke etc in the Super Eagles than a Yakubu who's clearly seen better days back in the Super Eagles. If I had to choose between having one of Kaita and Yakubu back in the Eagles, I'll pick Kaita as I think he's more important to the team. Yakubu's chapter with the Super Eagles should be closed forever!!!. |

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham [2001]. . an Indian movie with an all star cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Kajol, Jaya Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor. First saw it in 2001 and I just had to see it again cos it's definitely one of the classics of Bollywood cinema. I'll rate it 8/10 Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon [2000]. . .Epic Chinese martial arts film with a good plot, lots of flying stunts, sword fighting etc . Na my kind film be this so no long thing. . . 8.5/10 Politics Of Love [2011]. . .a romantic comedy with a story woven around the 2008 US Presidential Elections in which a local Democratic Party volunteer coordinator falls in love with her Republican counterpart and all the ''senrere'' that happened as a result. . . . .5/10 Green Lantern [2011]. . .and I thought Thor [2011] was bad. ' Maybe all these Superhero movies should be made as Cartoons. A waste of my time and I wish I could take back the almost two hours I used watching it. 4/10 |

Good to see my previous post has been released from the jaws of spambot @ topic Bad Teacher [2011]. . .didn't particularly like it. Won't be surprised if some folk adds it to the list of films that should never have been released. I rate it a 4.5/10 True Legend 2010]. . . despite the usually thin plots, I love ''epic'' & ''ancient'' Chinese martial arts films with sword fighting, flying stunts etc so you'll forgive me for rating this movie a 6.5/10 Immigration Tango [2011]. It was definitely better and more interesting than Bad Teacher. I'll score it 5.5/10 |
