Eastbay:ROFLMAO ![]() ^^You for help your fellow club supporter nau |
12large:Like I said, he did well in the 2 games he played. The only dark spot on his SA 2010 outing was the red card he bagged and that doesn't subtract from his overall performance. He did well in the 110+ minutes he was on the pitch in South Africa And You should thank God and be happy for the opportunity to interact with a SUPERINTELLIGENT fellow (apologies to sagamite ) like moi cos my intelligence may just rub-off on you. |
12large:I'll always be around to put morons like you where you belong. Kaita had an above average performance in the 2 games he played at SA 2010. Against Argentina, he aquitted himself well in an unfamiliar right wing/midfield position and even deputized excellently for T. Taiwo @ leftback when he got injured and was taken out. Against Greece, he was very workaholic, full of energy & running and generally did all the hardwork like closing down space & marking and thats why the midfield collapsed when he was red carded. Also he hardly lost the ball when he was with it. His red card exposed the sheer laziness and incompetence of Etuhu and Haruna. By the way, your precious Lukman Haruna was $h!¡ttt and kept falling at the slightest touch. Ayila with the only game he played outshone and added more to our game both offensively & dèfensively than your precious Lukman Haruna who was MAGNIFICENTLY PATHETIC in the 2 games he played. Kaita remains our best defensive midfielder. . .EOD! Obiora Nwankwo and Ramon Azeez are the only other DM's who are close to him but Kaita edges them with his workaholic nature, marking and ball winning abilities. Like I said before, stick to analysing soccer @ the vendors stands. Nairaland sports section nor be for idiotic morons like you. Real football afficionado's like moi will always be around to put you in your place. Oya go and buy Soccerstar and come and post a list of players to take to 2018 world cup. ![]() Isi ewu + Ode Oshi! |
Hmmm. . .never knew a thread specially dedicated to the birth of Baby Sienna existed until now and I'm kinda pissed I'm just seeing it. Anyway, l posted this on another thread a few days ago. semid4lyfe:@ Siena Your siggy is yet to reflect your new family status. . .when you go change am, lol? ![]() Congrats and may God's blessings come upon the whole family. |
RuuDie:The results are ready at the various departments. . .just awaiting approval & ratification from the PG School before they're officially released. You can check at the department you applied to if you made the cut or not if you know someone. |
If anyone was gonna beat him, it had to be Tyson Gay. However losing to Gay with 9.97secs to 9.84 secs should make him worry. . .that gap too much. Anyhow sha, na 100 metres, a poor start and the race is over. I'll like to see if Gay can repeat this feat in their next 2 meet. |
Ali Larter |
Aaah. . .all these facebook addicts sef ![]() |
Very foolish girl. Appearing in lousy mojo films for paltry $500-700/scene. |

If he becomes president, what happens to the black eyed peas?. I doubt he would become president though.
Wow!
Why the heck did he come back home with the cameras? Is this a publicity stunt or something?
mama-gee, think before you type biko. He's campaigning to be President so he needs as much publicity as possible. |
Nigerian clubs and their queer business sense. How much would it have cost Kano Pillars to buy the player from the Academy? Anyhow sha, I hope he plays against South Korea. |
Kx:I don't know about now but during my days in Uni, established sportsmen/women were admitted on special sports list and most of them came in to read P.H.E. Thats how Chioma Ajunwa got in to read P.H.E in UNILAG. Some of them can still take up the scholarship offer. |
kilakhan:Well said! However I'm not surprised by his utterances cos Siasia is not really a believer in local talents. The majority of the players he took to AYC 2005, Holland 2005, Beijing 2008 & Egypt 2009 were foreign based. Anyway foreign or home based, we need younger players in the Super Eagles and I don't understand the fixation with the domestic pro-league cos believe it or not, it takes a lot of connection/persön know person, note-carrying & settlement to get into teams in the Pro-league during the pre-season trials. . .Ask Obafèmi Martins. I even know this from the experience of an ex-neigbour who played for Sunshine Stars. Must all the invited home-based players be from the Pro-league? Players in the Pro-league are not necessary better than those playing in the Amateur league. We have many good young players playing in the Amateur leagues that have been discovered in age group competitions for us. eg Ramon Azeez & Sanni Emmanuel were playing for Amateur Clubs and they were by far the best performers in our U-17 team despite the presence of pro league veterans like Stanley Okoro, Ajagun, Ojabu etc. My point is pro-league, amateur league, U-17 or U-21. . .invite outstanding/standout players to camp & let them fight for their jersey after all we know our peculiar age cheating problem. Experience is important but overrated. |
Fogman:The boys from Ghana and South Africa are definitely not U-17. Only the Lagos and Dutch team are real U-17's in that competition. |
Honeric & asha 80 Well said. However I maintain that if we field real underage players in age grade football competitions, we'd always be beaten black and blue by other teams. Look at the Lagos United team (all secondary school students picked from the Last principal Cup) representing Lagos State in the Lagos Internatiönal Youth Competition for example. Not condoning cheating but the Western countries have gone scientific with football. . . .special Nutrition & feeding, hormonal injections etc that make their players develop quickly, grow big, enhances their endurance, strength, stamina etc. I even heard sowewhere that the American U-19 team that our overage Falconets beat have been training together since when the players were like 8/9/10 years old. . .so they've been playing together for a longer time. Shey we fit do am for Naija ni? My worry is we take age cheating to another level. . .as in players dey cut 10 yrs+ from their ages. Me, I dey for mid 20's and I sabi Kabiru Akinsola for Oworonshoki (stayed around Elanke then. . .even saw him like 2wice after the U-17 World cup) and (I dey call am Egbon) the time wey im dey play competition for Gbagada Roundabout, so how could he claim to be U-17 in 2007. Even Dele Adeleye was like 33/34 when he went to Holland 2005. Now the female teams have followed suit. |
Wow! Lovely thread. Never knew TTC meant trying to concieve until today. God go do am for all of una |
@ surgeon Thanks! Although your post was gobbled up by the spambot, I was able to read it. I'll do as u advised. |
BabaOnileK:True. . .I also saw Thunderbolt when it was screened at our main auditorium whilst in school. |
So sad! May God give the family the fortitude to bear the loss. |
Nollywood will get there. Already a few producers & directors have taken the cue and have been producing/making quality movies. People like Tunde Kelani, Emem Isong, Kingsley Ogoro, Tade Ogidan, Kunle Afolayan, Jetta Amata etc readily come to mind. |
No be na wa, na real wa! |
Her testimony was rubbish. |
Congrats Myne! It just seems like yesterday you were posting excerpts of the novel here Glad you're now reaping the fruits of your labour. |
