Yet, he took the best decision by almost taking a Mikel that was never fit, never played any of the friendlies, nor trained with the team to the worldcup? if not for Mikel who personally said he was not fit enough, Largerback would have taken a -1 to the worldcup (apart from the -1s we already have in the team in the likes of Utaka, Kanu and co.)? Oyinbo mentality also did that abi? make una clap for una self well well. sad

Enyeama: Jabulani will disgrace keepers
Posted: 2010-06-08 06:41

Nigeria goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has added his voice to the Jabulani controversy, warning that the World Cup ball will disgrace goalkeepers in South Africa.

Enyeama was the first to speak out about the ball during the African Nations Cup in Angola, but his words failed to gain traction. Recently, some of the world's top goalkeepers have come out to add their voices and Enyeama says it is too late.

"When I spoke about it during the Nations Cup, some people said I was just making excuses.

"Now, other goalkeepers have joined in and it has now become an issue. But it is too late to do anything about it.

"The only thing is that some of us might be disgraced by that ball at the World Cup."

Enyeama himself almost suffered from the ball's unpredictable swerving motion against North Korea on Sunday when a shot from distance almost found its way in to the goal.

"It was a difficult moment for me. The ball came at me and I thought I had it covered, but it moved at the last minute and I was lucky to get a fingertip to it, but it still hit the bar.

"I am sure an angel was protecting me, otherwise, that would have been a goal."

His advice to his fellow goalkeepers is to work as hard and long as possible with the ball as tournament kick-off approaches.

"And we should pray that we come out from every game without being embarrassed."

Orikinla:
Your writing is enough to prove your IQ, whether high or low.

People can cheat and manipulate to pass exams like majority of Nigerian students who dub the projects of others and doctor the documents to claim them as their original works. But corner them when they are alone and tell them to write a short fiction or non-fiction of 500 words. The result will prove how brilliant and intelligent they are.
So someone who can't write a short fiction or non-fiction story is unintelligent and possesses a low IQ? undecided huh

Pure Garbage!

"Twilight Saga: New Moon" was a big winner at last night's 2010 MTV Movie Awards.  tongue
It won Best Movie, Best Male performance, Best Female performance and Best Kiss.

MTV movie awards sucks big time.
Just like how Twilight won the major awards last year? MTV movie awards is a joke and shouldn't be taken serious.

Like I said, the movies are better.
Since you believe the movies are better, why bother to read the books?  undecided huh You for kuku watch the movies and forget the books nah grin

It just happens sometimes. Esp. when the producers are lucky to find hot, good actors that bring life to an otherwise mundane tale.
You're using good actor and Robert Pattinson in the same sentence? undecided Shocking! That guy couldn't act to save his life but I understand where you're coming from sha grin
maedan:
And oh, thanks for the spoilers undecided. Some of us are still trying to finish reading Twilight the book, so easy on the plot-talk tongue.
Sorry ehn. . . .I thought you had finished reading the books since you first posted you were reading them last year, lol.

Sorry to point this out, but the books weren't that good. I actually think the movies made the books look better. IMO.
tongue.
I agree the books weren't that good but they still $h!t on the movies any time, any day. I'm still waiting to see how the 3rd and 4th book (Eclipse and Breaking Dawn) will be translated onto the big screen. If a good job couldn't be done with Twilight and New Moon which didn't have much drama, then I don't hold out much hope of seeing something good with Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. How dem wan take show the alliance between the Cullens and the werewolves to fight Elizabeth's newborns? How them wan take bring the Denali clan into the picture and make them relevant in the last installment? Edward and Bella's wedding and their subsequent honeymoon in Island Esme? Renesmee's birth and the final stand against the Volturi? etc etc etc.

Those who watch the movies only will never fully grasp the whole story as so much of it will be lost on translation onto the big screen.

Brownteeth:
Most of us know the truth about the weakness of our national team but refuse to accept it. The truth they say is bitter. I think we should be praying for a miracle rather than trusting the strenght of our team. Nothing much has changed about the weak super eagles during the nation cup. Considering the results of the friendly matches that Argentina and South korea have been playing with some tough teams, I think a trashing defeat awaits the super eagles. Argentina and South korea are really strong at the moment. South korea is an unpopular strong team and can possibly defeat Argentina easily. I don't think Nigeria can even beat greece. If you want to cry you better do it now, theres no need to wait till after the super eagles trashing has been done. Lets keep praying for a big miracle.
Utter garbage!
