Technology Market › Re: PRE ORDER 2.0 - CHEAPEST PRE-ORDER TABLET/PHONE DEALS EVER FROM CHINA. by semid4lyfe(m): 8:19pm On Nov 20, 2014

< < < Rewind to Early October

I wanted to pay for some goods but was in a dilemma cos seller did not accept escrow or PayPal. His only accepted payment method was direct bank payment. . . .

Got across to TheSpecialOne on whatsapp and after some back and forth, a deal was struck.

I deposited the agreed amount that same day and in less than 24hrs, TSO effected payment into my seller's account and uploaded the proof of payment.

From there, na smooth sailing until I got a SMS from my shipping agent to come pick up my goods.

On a personal level, Nelson is friendly, courteous and respectful. Business wise, his rates & service charge is the best around here. FACT! He's also got good communication, excellent customer relation & feedback and above all integrity.

TheSpecialOne has been tried & has delivered. For your China procurement and payment, think TheSpecialOne.

I SEMID4LYFE recommend him highly.

Business › Re: GTBank's Internet Banking Services...totally OVER-HYPED! by semid4lyfe(m): 6:56am On Sep 07, 2014*

Not only Internet Banking, GTbank is overrated in everything.

My colleagues with salary account in other banks started receiving their salary alert since last Wednesday.

As I type, all those using GTbank salary accounts are yet to receive their salary. I expect it'd enter on Monday sha. Funny thing is our our accounts get credited via ATM/POS transfer unlike before when it used be by Internet Banking.

Also, their debit card exchange rate is online transaction unfriendly. Other banks (whether Master Card or Visa) charge below #163/USD but GTbank charges as much as #165/USD currently.

hopefully, i'll stick to nonnykings and st. patrick for now. they seem to have the best track record.. i would ignore nonnykings current flops and see it maybe as a small hitch... lemme sit back and see how things go with them. im subscribing to this thread and hopping unto another one to learn more.

For your peace of mind, use NonnyKings STRICTLY for Express Shipping.

otikpoko: That is nice.
Does he check to know if your items are complete as well?
I do not mind testing them out...so that my friends go rest small for my hand...na almost every day dem dey go carry load for me

Otikpokpo, Entertain no fear. David can be trusted absolutely and YES, he does check items to know if they're complete. I've used him thrice, the most recent being just yesterday and there has been no problem.

I called him yesterday evening to arrange a pickup for today but fortunately for me, he was at Mikky's place at that moment and he also picked my items.

He's also to pick up something today for me elsewhere which he's to include in my package and send to me in Abakaliki.

Fingers crossed, I expect to get my package on Sunday.

Dealing with IBL Logistics (David) is like you picking your items yourself. You are covered.

Phones › Re: Unboxing and Review of UMI C1 Review - By YMODULUS by semid4lyfe(m): 8:47am On Aug 27, 2014

Ymodulus: Battery

I have to note that on this i was very skeptical after my last phone ELEPHONE P2000 which claimed to be 2650Mah. so i gave this a trial and i am satisfied. It comes with a 2430mAh battery.
Phone was 50% charged after 4hours of usage it reduced to 23%. see below

So in terms of performance, the 2430mah battery of UMI C1 is better than the Elephone P2000 which has a battery of 2650mah?

Can't disregard your opinion and can't take it in wholeheartedly too. Battery capacity is the best indicator of battery performance & staying power during use. Other things could have accounted for the faster draining battery of the p2000.

I wasn't born with a silver spoon and even now, I no too get money so e dey hard me to spend.

As a result, I am always on the look out for the best possible deals and getting value for every kobo I spend. By best deals, I mean getting more for less @ a bargain price

Some few days back, I wanted to purchase an Elephone p6i for someone close to my heart so I got in touch with some Sellers/Pre-order agents to get their respective landing cost.

I decided to go with tyconcepts cos she gave me the best deal. Money exchanged hands a day later and it was smooth sailing till the phone was delivered to the recipient.

Superb customer relation, excellent communication, prompt & timely feedback, good service delivery are the hallmarks of dealing with TyConcepts.

She kept me updated every day as to the status of my order via Whatsapp, BBM & SMS and delivery time was as stated.

This lady has been tried, tested and has delivered. I will continue to patronize her, use her services and I have no reservation about recommending her to other Nairalanders.

Deal with her without reservation. She has my confidence, deep trust and highest recommendation.

For you mobile shopping, pre-order, cash n carry, reorder...think TYCONCEPTS. Even if its not listed, she can get it.

Some comments here making me grin from ear to ear

# There are no real capacity power banks.

# 20,000mAh power banks do not exist.

# The only way to get real capacity is to build it.

I laugh is Swahili. Good thing I'm an in independent thinker and not a crowd follower.

Someone posts something based on his limited knowledge and exposure which validates some peeps products and they line up behind him to form support strikers.

Nice tactic, it almost worked
