Car Talk › Re: Tanker Traffic On Costain Axis And Bridge by SenatorJames(m): 7:23am On Jul 13, 2014
brosss: This is a plea to anyone that can reach whoever is in charge of traffic in Lagos... The decision to move tankers through Costain is constituting a terrible nuisance... Its both unfair and wicked to those plying this route. We also have to consider the unnecessary stress and strain been imposed on the bridge. The presence of these stationary trailers and tankers on the bridge is actually acting as a "dead weight" along just one side of the bridge. This could lead to deflection, structural instability and thus gradual deterioration of the bridg....

Please avoid Costain for your own good. Its a grid lock here. Been stuck for hours. The bridge is been overun by tankers.... Those that where sent away from apapa..

Last pics shows the few cars that scaled through and people
Every one is trekking to cms....

Its going to worsen as more people come to work....

PLEASE HELP.!!!!!
Let us continue to face the music now, since we have been comparing everyday traffic in Lagos, with a one time 12days traffic in Russia.

Nigeria will never see where the foreigner has gone ahead them, but their little fault.

Kudos to Ogbeni himself. Truely you have proved yourself as an outstanding man at the helm of affairs, in a state rich in tradition and culture. Please I want to know his activities in Osun state, before he became governor, apart from when he was in Lagos.

tomiobj: People nowadays av no humanity. They could make over 500 posts on a wizkid topic now to help a child only 2 posts too bad. Smh. Wish I could help
But its not 4 million posts that will help the girl now, but 4 million naira, someone that will help may not neccesarily post anything. Just open the thread, read the story, copy the account number and log out. Even this type of thread does not need much comments to make front page, if the MOD is caring enough.

May God use me to be an help for this girl in Jesus name.

kel4soft: We need to start stoning our leaders.
You mean the ones people see as their messiah?

-we collect one congo of rice to vote for them.
-we kill ourself in support of a political party that has no good plan for us.
-we sell our conscience because of 1k on election day
-I see nothing bad in him/her leadership just because we are from the same village
-we see our suffering as a way of life.

My brother we need an ideological change before we can stand for our right.

Krak: 21. In 1967 during the Biafran War a 48-hour ceasefire was declared in Nigeria between the Federal troops and Biafran seccessionists so that they could watch the Brazilian football legend, Pele, play on a visit to Nigeria.

22. Prostitution is legal in Brazil.

Example: if you browsed Nairaland in a cafe or someone else's computer and forgot to logout, you could use this to logout from those computers.
Good development Seun. I can't blame you for any action you take to properly secure this great website.

LMAyedun: We need a new state out of Kogi state - Okun state.
Seconded!!!

The way the Igala people are maltreating Ebira and Okun in this present Kogi state is too much. The best solution (which cannot be possible) would be for the 3 tribes to stand alone as a state, because the Ebira and Okun-yoruba that seems to be friendly now, is just to oppose Igala, the story will also change if they are to be merge as an entity.

AdeniyiA: i can marry a lady who has no job but possesses skills that can make her to be self employed. a good wife material shud be good in at least 3 crafts or handicrafts.
i would advice parents to make sure their children(boys and girls) acquire skills or crafts during long holidays instead of enrolling them in tutorial centres.
western education seems not adequate for survival in Nigeria of today
I will suggest at higher institution, because most of the young ones learning one craft or the other at secondary school level dont always concentrate on their studies. They would have concluded that, that is what they will finally end up doing for a living.

Why do we find it hard to obey simple laws of nature? Like Newton's law:

For every ACTION, there is an equal and opposite REACTION.

You have sex (action), pregnancy, dealth as a result of abortion, STIs etc follows (reaction). So all those I told her before is not an issue.

Let me remind you of my popular quote "You are free to choose (having sex), but you are not free to choose the consequencies of your choosen"

Apart from that, nothing really i don't think.
Its one of the reason I go to church, working as an Usher is a great decision I ever made. I can't Imagine myself sitting down through out the service, I will be like a burden to myself, I cant even enjoy the service.
