Forum GamesRe: Break-up Lines by Seun(mod): 12:56pm On Nov 16, 2005
What do you mean it's not going to work. What's the purpose of a break up line? To break up! If the other person doesn't feel happy about it, then that's not a problem: making the other person feel good is not the purpose of a break up line!

Break up lines:
- I'm sorry, girl, but I don't think we're compatible.
- I met a new girl last month, and I think she'll make a better wife.
- I proposed marriage to my other girlfriend and she said "yes!" (you said "no" last year).
- I impregnated a girl, and now I have to marry her. Sorry!
- Let's have an open relationship, else I'm leaving!
PoliticsRe: President Obasanjo Wants a Third Term? by Seun(mod): 12:29pm On Nov 16, 2005
I want to believe that President Obasanjo will not stoop so low as to go for a third term after repeatedly denying such an ambition. I would lose all my respect for him if that should happen, so I don't believe it will happen. No, it won't happen.

But if the current proposal goes through, will he run for a third term in office?

RomanceRe: [poll] Would You Prefer to Marry a Virgin? by Seun(mod): 12:55am On Nov 16, 2005
I think I'm beginning to fall for the idea of having sex before marriage. If it is true that there are very few virgins, and it is also true that there are very few girls I will actually enjoy sharing a life with, then the probability of finding a girl that satisfies both conditions and also likes me is infinitesimally small.

One must therefore forget about it, right? cry

Nigeria is quite oil-rich, but we have 150 million people to support. That is what makes us poor.

The phone voting instructions will be available later in the month. Online voting seems to be working but I'll advice you to wait until the finals start.

FashionRe: Miss World 2005: Omowunmi Akinnifesi Represents Nigeria! by Seun(mod): 11:33pm On Nov 15, 2005
About voting: Nigerians at home may not be able to vote in this competition, because:
- Phone voting is available in only a few countries and Nigeria is not included.
- Web voting requires a $1 fee per vote and the average Nigerian doesn't have a credit card.

However, it is also true that many of us on this forum are in the US, UK, or other European countries and may be able to vote by phone or via the Internet. Let me send in more details.

Come on, she has the proportions, especially height, a nice face, and she knows how to shine her teeth. What more do you want in a Miss World. I can definitely imagine her as the Miss World.

What is not cute about her? Is it because she doesn't have a big head like Darego and co? angry
RomanceRe: Why Do Girls Always Go For Bad Boys? by Seun(mod): 11:23pm On Nov 15, 2005
Not really ... I'm confused. This is what happens whenever a man actually tries to understand girls. We get confused. I think it's deliberate and I refuse to be confused!

PoliticsRe: Movement for the Defence of Democracy (MDD) by Seun(mod): 11:06pm On Nov 15, 2005
What irritates me about these parties is that they appear to have no ideologies beyond:
- Promoting a particular tribe or set of tribes.
- Maintaining power by winning as many electoral seats as possible.

What, if any, is the ideology behind this new MDD? They want to defend democracy? Does that even mean anything?

The finals for the Miss World 2005 Beauty Pageant will take place in December. Our girl is Omowunmi Akinnifesi, who was born 19 years ago in Lagos, brought up in Sierra Leone, and now lives in Lagos, Nigeria.

At High School she won first prize in a Fine Art Competition, she is now a student and her future ambition is to be a National Geographer. She enjoys drawing, dancing and volleyball; has a pet dog called Fussy; her favourite music is hip hop and rock, and favourite food is spaghetti and meat balls. Omowunmi’s motto is "Forward ever, backward never" (so she claims wink)

Last year, she was interviewed by the Vanguard Newspapers after beating 25 girls to become the 18th Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria. The interview is available here. You can also view her official Miss World 2005 profile and interview.

Are going to watch the finals of the Miss World 2005 competition? Are you going to vote for our Omowunmi? Please do, she's a Nigerian and I think she's beautiful enough to win (check out the photos above). What do you think?

Oops, I forgot to mention that if you don't like her we do not want your opinion. Thank you!

FamilyRe: Should Homosexuals Be Allowed to Raise Children? by Seun(mod): 8:40pm On Nov 15, 2005
Female-female couples can have their own children. They just need sperm donors.

Male-male couples can have children too - they just need surrogate mothers.

Sperm donors and surrogate mothers are already being used by male-female couples with reproductive problems. So this is not an issue at all.
