michelin89: ... always trying to transform you in a decent girl like himYou have exposed yourself! The reason you do not like good (or 'decent') boys is that you are not a good (or 'decent') girl. That is all. Read what you wrote again and you'll see that I am right! |
Speaking to an inanimate object? Using a pillow as a friend? Lonely girls! |
In other words, we're sitting ducks for a bird flu outbreak. Oh dear. |
Am I going to leave the training of my children to a bunch of underpaid and frustrated housemasters/housemistresses? No way! To take my children out of my custody, they will need to obtain a supreme court ruling. I will especially not leave a female child to the horrors of the famous girls' boarding schools in Nigeria. I will not let them turn my daughter (or son) into a monster! |
First rihana she says a good boy is one who is respectfully dressed and nice, then later she implies that he is submissive. She is simply confused about what makes a boy good or bad. It is normal for a girl to be confused. However, regardless of your definition of what makes a boy "bad", if you fall for him knowing what he is then you are "bad" yourself. Regardless of how you see a "good" boy, if you consistently prefer to go out sith such a boy then you are a good girl, too. I am yet to come accross a submissive boy, so I think that if that is your definition of good boy, then they exist only in your dreams. All the boys I know are out for sex and they will do whatever it takes to get sex including [i]pretending to be nice by accepting everything you say[/b]. That's what I refer to as social inexperience because if you understand girls, you will know that they do not recognize the difference between being nice and being weak, or being great and being arrogant!! |

Why should I die for someone who would probably leave me? |
I mean a better name for American football. |
Salako's case does not qualify as a miracle. Instead, you should look at it as a possible cure for HIV - an effective antibody. Unless he has an identical twin brother who has HIV . |
Lovely joke. Thanks! |
No, i think they just don't care. Our finance minister is a woman - the most coveted post in a corruption-ridden country. The education minister is a woman. The Vice-chancellor (Chief Executive) of the country's highest rated private university is a woman. And it doesn't stop there - in the NGO sector, women are at the forefront of efforts to make the society better. Maybe the other women are simply satisfied with their status in the society. if they are satisfied, why disturb them with ideas that they are not ready to fight for? |
Do you know why you're so excited about it? Because the aircraft landed in your country! Thanks for sharing this with us. Can you post us screenshots from the videos, since we are all on narrowband Internet? |
Ogi - African Ice Cream <refridgeration not required> Eko/Pap - Corn Yoghurt Solidified. |
Maybe the other women don't care. |
I am not comfortable with the idea of asking a girl's parents for her hand. I mean, what is that? If the parents don't accept me, am I going to walk away? And what happens if the parents accept my "proposal" but the girl says "no"? Will they force her or try to convince her on my behalf? Doesn't this mean that I see my future wife as a child under her parents and not a woman? I don't like this idea at all! I've always thought that what happens is that you propose to your woman, and then if she accepts, then you visit your parents together and tell them "we're getting married!" Or the woman goes to her mother and said "Seun asked me to marry him and I said 'yes'!" Or, "Seun asked me to marry him and I'm wondering if I should accept" But definitely not, "Seun wants me to marry him and I want your permission". Who wants to marry a child? ![]() Ok, I realise that I've not answered your question yet. Here is a link that might be helpful: > http://www.ehow.com/how_9810_ask-girlfriends-father.html |
Actually, this free CD burner a good idea. It's just that it's not very useful where you have broadband Internet access. A better idea is to install the software inside local ISPs or large networks so people can quickly download the software they need at little cost to the ISP. |
Names are sticky. Once you have millions of people calling a sport by a particular name, you cannot change the name unless: - The sport is controlled by a particular body. - That body is willing to suffer face the fan anger and costs of a name change. - They have found a better name for the sport. |
chillin: I don't really understand what's 'wooing' you. He only asked a question! Yes, a man that refrains from premarital sex can be a sex machine: - A sex machine that has a pause button. - That is, a sex machine that won't start wrestling other women whenever the wife is unavailable. |
It is a well known fact that courting couples do not reveal their true characters to each other until the dotted line is signed, or the woman gets pregnant. When you are dating someone, the fear of rejection causes you to be on edge and project your best image lest he/she leaves you. Once you are married, you feel secure and you become your normal, more obnoxious self. I think that is why some people find it impossible to get attracted to their close friends of the opposite sex. Because they know the truth about the friend and this makes him/her unexciting. Meanwhile, the boy/girl you hardly know causes butterflies to fly in your stomach and you are ready to climb seven mountains for him/her. Talk about self-deception! |
An socially inexperienced boy (who doesn't know how easy it is to get into a girl's pants) will gain experience with time, but a bad boy (a player who knows what to do to excite a lady and get into her pants) will never become a good boy no matter how much you love him. If one boy's social inexperience irritates you more than another boy's arrogance and manipulativeness, then you deserve what's coming to you. That is, heartbreak. ![]() |
IAH: the good boy she is describing is not good boy but mumu boyThis is not true. She described god boys as "the boy in suit or a plain white shirt", "gentlemen", "perfect people". Are you saying that only a 'mumu' (dullard) will bother to wear modest clothes, be a gentleman and live a 'perfect' (that is, responsible) life? |
Since you have encouraged us to share our ideas: - I don't know about alcohol, because some husbands can become funny under its influence. - An alternative to midnight wrestling is early morning wrestling. - Thanks for sharing. I am keeping notes for future use . |
You are yet to answer my question on what makes the "flying car" different from today's 2 seater airplanes or small helicopters! I have given my own description of what makes a flying car, but you are yet to give yours! Please describe your own idea of what a flying car is! |
couples don't plan fights or misunderstandings they just pop up from the blues sometimes. sometimes you think back and you don't even know how an argument started.Nothing happens without a reason. The fact that something "pops up from the blues" doesn't mean it has no cause. It simply means I don't know why it happened - maybe I was not attentive or I really don't have enough knowledge in the area of relationshps and communication. If you have knowledge about something, then when there is a problem at least you will know why and what your options are. There are people that specialize in the dynamics of relationships and really have a lot of information about what makes relationships fail and what makes others work, but we don't utilize them. Instead we make assumptions based from our upbringing and culture, and we act based on our emotions. |
Thanks, IAH. That might be my favorite Nigerian movie, since I can't think of any other Nigerian movie I really liked at the time I watched it. Agbara Nla: "Isawuru", "Aya Matanga!", "Abule Rumoleru". Those days! ![]() Mount Zion Faith Ministries |
I am thinking "well done everybody!" |
dre901: Thanks for the information, and I hope you will explain it further soon. Thanks everybody; I look forward to more contributions from those in various industries outside Oil & Gas, Telecoms, and Banking. Also, if you can mention details of specific jobs, experience required and typical pay it would help. |
Ok, so it's a big plane. Can I buy one? Is it going to be flying to Nigeria anytime soon? ![]() |

As a sole proprietor, I entered business with the initial goal of making as much money as I would have gained if I was a University graduate earning a 'good salary'. Unfortunately, I have never been in the job market, so I have no idea what a good salary is! So I need your help. What kind of salaries are graduates earning in various industries (banking, IT, consulting, et cetera)? What constitutes a 'good salary' in Nigeria, especially the Lagos area? I want to know so I can set a definite monthly income target. Thanks. |
