Looks like a young green mamba. The scale pattern of the head is the same: https://www.tlcafrica.com/pictures/snake_greenmamba2.jpg Can you take more close-up photos of the head and body? It has a black mouth, right? |
No pictures? |
These are poor answers. |
donnie:1) A nation consists of millions of people. A marriage consists of only two people. The leadership requirements of the two are very different. It is impossible to achieve consensus in groups of millions of people, but it's trivial in small groups of reasonable people, such as marriages. 2) There's no reason to assume that the man in every marriage is qualified to be the leader. Some women are better leaders than most men. |
WORLDPEACE:What men need and what women need are equally important; neither is more important than the other. I don't think any human being desires or prefers to play second fiddle to another human being for life. If I am wrong about that, women should speak up and correct me. Many women resign themselves to it and try to cope with it, because that's what our society expects, but they would all prefer to be equal partners. |
WORLDPEACE:I think the idea of one person being compelled to submit to another person for her entire life is incredibly sad. No one should live that way. l don't want my wife to obey me, but I want her to be reasonable and rational and logical. That is all you need. You don't need a slave for life. |
donnie:Well, yes, but there are many women who are barely religious and would be quite happy to be married to atheists. These women have serious doubts about religion, but they continue to practice it moderately simply because they are used to it or haven't considered leaving it. |
dingbang:But we are not Jews. We are Nigerians. How does this passage apply to us? ![]() Check out this version of Gimme That Old Time Religion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBtSFhbxBTg Lyrics: Chorus: Oh, give me that old time religion Give me that old time religion Give me that old time religion It's good enough for me. Let us pray with Aphrodite, Let us pray with Aphrodite, She wears that see-through nightie, And it's good enough for me. We will pray with Zarathustra, We'll pray just like we use ta, I'm a Zarathustra booster, And it's good enough for me. We will pray with those Egyptians, Build pyramids to put our crypts in, Cover subways with inscriptions, And it's good enough for me. We will pray with those old druids, They drink fermented fluids, Waltzing naked though the woo-ids, And it's good enough for me. Hare Krishna, He must laugh on To see me dressed in saffron With my hair that's only half on And it's good enough for me. I will rise at early morning, When my Lord gives me the warning, That the solar age is dawning, And that's good enough for me. |
Are you a religious satirist? |
Oloruntobi4382:https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis (it is just a common medical phenomenon that is often accompanied by hallucinations) |
There's no good reason for female atheist to marry a devout Christian or Muslim. It is highly unnecessary, because for every female atheist there are at least 10 male atheists. Also, you would be miserable, because major religions teach that wives should "submit" to their husbands. |
Born2Freak:You are right, but having been liberated from the burden of religion, I just don't want to join any group that tries to tell me how to live my life. The problem religious people have with atheists is our lack of belief in God. Calling ourselves Humanists won't change anything. This youtube video features a young man who thinks that Humanism is "entirely demonic" and "the cancer of thanksgiving" and "the devil's PR", "a first class ticket to the sea of wantonness and debauchery of every form". It's not what we call ourselves that's their problem. It's what we don't believe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3j8jQkSydeo |
Humanism feels like a religion. It has dogmas that every 'Humanist' must subscribe to. I agree with most of their dogmas, but: count me out! |
Source? Where and how was the poll conducted? |
AnonyNymous:Then it's shocking that their network remains slow. They also block some Nairaland pages for no reason. We need to do something about that. |
The day before the attack, the victim said he was planning to give the dog to a shelter, but it killed him before he could carry out the plan. Sad. |
They underprice their bandwidth, leading to low revenue, which prevents them from upgrading their network. They need to jack up their prices. |
Thanks! You can add your website link in a signature, I guess... |
Nice dogs. |
Bobbyg:Can he still apply it? |
Sorry about the death of the other dog. You've taken good care of Trish. She may never be a barker, our first dog only barked 2 times. Please don't listen to the people who will advise you to do mean things to her to get her to bark. Those things don't work and will turn your dog into a fearful nervous wreck. I'm not sure but I think ekuke dogs were bred for hunting, so maybe she can serve you as a rodent exterminator? |
Was the wood the shavings came from treated with chemical preservatives? |
When a lady is asked to send bikini shots from a guy, is it not fair to ask For the guy to send naked picture of his face down to his toes , For INSURANCE purpose ( incase he leaks it)Yes |
oladiran2:what plant is in your first picture? |
Pictures of the parents, please? |
Thanks. I really appreciate this. |
I've never understood why people seek the voice of God for important decisions when they don't rely on it for day-to-day decisions. If the so-called voice of God cannot be trusted to choose the correct answers for you in a multiple-choice test, or to tell you what ingredients you need to buy to make ogbono soup and how to prepare it, then why would you entrust the choice of a marital partner to this same voice of God? |
MrPresident1:We are all godless, really, whether we realize it or not. We have no divine arms to lean on, but we have each other, and that's good enough. |
