The system seems to be infectedWelcome to nairaland, DASKACE. How did you come to the conclusion that the system is probably virus infected? |
... and I mean a real tail. so I set sail ... |
Viera: I always imagine if someone raped my sister or my daugher! I will kill the person simple.Me too. I will kill him by making sure he is properly sentenced to life imprisonment according to the law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. So help me God, Insha Allah, and may the force be with me. So there is a big different between a player and a rapist because a rapist is a serious criminal while a player is just a heartbreaker. |
CalabarMan: but that one na another matter which I am not allowed to discuss on NairaLand. You've got it . But, man, you seem to be a real player. Chei :-o!Anyway, I believe it's possible to have fun without alcohol, smoke and noisy music. |
Ok, first of all, special acknowledgement to Chawkee's e don dey more captivating o thread. What I have in mind is a series of get-togethers from Lagos to Sokoto to Port-Harcourt and all over the country. The objective of the party would be simply to enable people in the same town (or state) to know each other better and create the possibility for future meetings for business and pleasure. I imagine that each gathering would take place on a Saturday and charge an entrance fee at the venue. I imagine that it would be strictly for Nairaland Forum members, and you will be able to create a Nairaland id at the gate. I imagine that each member would come with id cards and to distribute to other who are interested. What else would you suggest? Chawkee suggested: "E go be a round circle get together. It will start with introduction, then, we go come play who is in the circle, boju boju, round and round the village, te-n-te, bread and butter,.... . When all man don tire, we go come end am with folktales. Rice and stew no important." ![]() |

A security update like this one updates your computer in various ways to block many 'security holes' that may be used by a hacker to take control of your system, steal your passwords, etc. |
The ringtones are available at an 'Introductory' rate of 100 naira per ring tone, same as monotonic. |
Don't you know that questions are a sign of thirst for knowledge? |
So why do Nigerians like to answer questions with questions? |
You can now download polyphonic ringtones on the Globacom Network via the 'Glo Mobile MMS' service (for those who have GPRS-compatible phones). Why is no one else suggesting that she should wait before pursuing it? Am I mising something? |
hot-angel, welcome to Nairaland! |
I listen to songs I like, regardless of how old they are. A good song is timeless, because music is music. Popular recorded music does not sound any better today than it did 30 years ago; the only area that has improved is the quality of the music videos which are basically short movies written for the song. Music is what you hear and a really good song needs not fade away with time! |
Exactly. How can we in our own small way help them to get better? |
Being in love is like having a headache. It comes and it goes! So don't make drastic decisions in the name of love. Start preparing for serious relationship (engagement and marriage) marriage as early as possible, but be very careful before making any commitment. |
Olufunmi, it is better to report to the police so at least the boy (if he's young) will get a strong warning and never, ever try it again. Else he might try it another day and this time he may be stronger or have some 'friends' to join him in this perversion ('gang rape'). It is better to drive the idea of rape out of the mind of a young boy before he grows up and becomes a source of pain to the women in his life (the vast majority of rapes are carried out by someone who knows the girl or woman in real life |
They always say it; it's just that we don't hear it. If a lady says, "we can be just friends", I think it's clear what she means. If we start saying what they say seriously maybe they'll start saying what they mean! |
The atmosphere of heavy booze and smoke in many clubs and parties does not appeal to everybody! Perhaps the clubs should transform themselves into social centres where girls who are not 'loose' can hang out. There is a need for a kind of social centre that is somewhere between a club and a church and if I had the money I would be exploring this business opportunity already! |
Wrong. If the 28 year old guy agrees to a relationship with you and one day attempts to have sex with you, he can be arested, since the law regards you as a minor, who is still under the supervision of your parents. You don't want that to happen, do you? What you are experiencing is a case of forbidden love. The treatment is simple: wait until you're about 20 and if he's still single and you are still in love, then go for it. Love that's what pursuing will last for more than 5 years! |
I don't think 'over-rated' is the term. Genevieve Nnaji is 'well-loved' by her fans; she is blessed with thousands of loyal fans who are crazy about her. It's not just about beauty or acting talent. 'Fan following' (popularity) is what makes a celebrity and our beloved Genevieve is one of the few Nigerian actresses blessed with so many loyal fans. |
Hmmm ... let the young grow before you start to propose ![]() |
