FashionRe: Nigerian Model so beautiful - Marilyn Nwene by Seun(mod):
I have more information. Some people have been hitting this page after searching for her name on google. This shows that she is well known in some circles. Can some of those people send email to -- and tell me something about her? I'd be grateful!
RomanceRe: Wooing (Toasting) a Lady by Seun(mod): 9:44pm On Jun 20, 2005
We Men are attracted to money - if and only if we're the ones earning it. If you're 'too' rich, men might run because it's hard to earn the respect of someone who is, in a sense, greater than you.
RomanceRe: Every 'First Love' Is Infatuation by Seun(mod): 9:41pm On Jun 20, 2005
Ok, with such clear answers I know we'll make some progress today.

Now, you are saying it is possile to love without infatuation, and it is possible to be infatuated without love. Now if I love you but I'm not at all infatuated with you can I ask you out? How would a lady react in that case?
RomanceRe: Who is a Playa/Player? by Seun(mod): 9:32pm On Jun 20, 2005
I agree with bell. A lady simply cannot distinguish between a genuine lover and someone who just wants to sleep with her, so the only thing she can do is to say no to premarital sex.

So everyone, please vote for the virgins and say no to premarital sex!
RomanceRe: Every 'First Love' Is Infatuation by Seun(mod): 9:30pm On Jun 20, 2005
Based on what you have said, it is either:
- Infatuation is a part of what we call love, or
- Infatuation is state which is distinct from love, but can complement it.

Which one is it?
RomanceRe: Wooing (Toasting) a Lady by Seun(mod): 9:23pm On Jun 20, 2005
Let me tell you something: Nigerian women can be bought with money. This is a fact.

Ask IAH, she's a lady! grin
FamilyRe: Should A Husband And Wife Operate A Joint Account? by Seun(mod): 6:35pm On Jun 20, 2005
The woman should be allowed to use her money as it pleases her and the husband's own must be for the family's upkeep.
shocked shocked shocked what?

If this is true, I think I want to be a woman!
FamilyRe: Managing Your In-laws by Seun(mod): 6:31pm On Jun 20, 2005
As a single woman, if you are self made and highly placed you may not get married in the first place; that's the funny thing. Because the young men will be looking at you as a 'Oga'/'Mama' instead of 'babe' and the only men you would be able to respect would be "self-made and highly placed" men who, of course, all got married while you were busy 'making' yourself and struggling to climb the corporate ladder ...

Forum GamesRe: What Would You Do If? by Seun(mod): 6:24pm On Jun 20, 2005
If she's worth it I'll wait for the "relationship" with the other guy to blow up (this happens to 90% of more of modern "relationships"wink, and then I'll take it from there. Otherwise I think I can always find someone else to fancy.

What would you do if, one month after marriage, you discover that your partner slept with someone else the month before your wedding?

RomanceRe: Wooing (Toasting) a Lady by Seun(mod): 4:40pm On Jun 20, 2005
Here's my own 'analysis'.

1st stage: Women are simply not like that. If you're "humble" while dealing with a lady she'll read it as timidity or something, while if you're arrogant and full of yourself she'll read it as confidence. With women, arrogance wins all the time, even if you don't have a dime in your pocket tongue.

2nd stage: I don't understand it at all. If I'm arrogant, of course I'll introduce myself. I am "Seun the Great", afterall. The man who loves to hear nothing better than the sound of his own name!

Third/Fourth Stage: "You're beautiful" only works with inexperienced ladies, sorry. The other already 'know' how beautiful they are, since guys left and right are telling them that they are beautiful. Of course most of them are not really that beautiful, but they won't know until they are approaching 30 and nobody is looking their way ...
RomanceRe: Every 'First Love' Is Infatuation by Seun(mod): 3:26pm On Jun 20, 2005
It is obvious that we don't know what true love is. But do we even know what infatuation is? Do we really have reason to believe that infatuation and love are not the same thing?

"But what about improving on education, health, humours (jokes), and other educative and instructive matters?" by Eresi should have been "I would like to start new topics on education, health, humours (jokes), and other educative and instructive matters."

My response would have been, "please, go ahead and do it!"

Why are in-laws important anyway?

jummy79: May I ask if you value male virginity (in yourself, for example) as highly?
Well it appears not to be valued by most of our ladies. Too bad. Well at least I've learnt something; I guess I should go to the nearest brothel and get myself some experience.
BusinessRe: The STB Mastercard Maestro: Credit and Debit Cards in Nigeria by Seun(mod): 4:53pm On Jun 17, 2005
What is the STB Mastercard?
The STB Mastercard is an International Credit Card. It is issued in partnership with MasterCard International and it's accepted in over 210 countries and at over 30 million locatons worldwide.

How do I get an STB Mastercard?
Simply take 3 easy steps: Get a card application form from any busines office of STB and designated branches of UBA and complete it. Also complete a Domiciliary Account Form (if you don't have one with us) for operating the card, and pay in the minimum collateral deposit amount of $250. A credit card with a minimum credit limit of $200 will be issued to you. You can increase the card/unit by increasing the collateral deposit.

Why do I need to cash-back/collatarise my MasterCard?
The absence of a credit bureau in the country means that we have to build relationships and credit rating histories of our customers before we can properly access their own personal credit-worthiness. So, in this introductory phase, customers would need to cash collaterize their mastercards. Over the course of our banking relationship with them, we can then rate them better for easier access to credit.

How secure is my card against craud?
STB masterCard is based on PIN-protected magnetic stripe technology to guard against unauthorized transactions. The bank has also deployed a robust Operations & Risk Management system to manage the risk associated with our MasterCards. Cardholders should however take care to keep their cards carefully.

What is the difference between the STB MasterCard and Maestro Cards
The MasterCard is our credit card and it is maped to a special card account, with a revolving overdraft facility while the Maestro is the debit version mapped directly to a customer's domiciliary account.

Can I pay naira into my masterCard Account?
The MasterCard and Maestro Cards are denominated in Dollars; the bank only accepts Dollar deposits into these accounts.

How can I make payments in other currencies since my cards are denominated in Dollars?
MasterCards can be used for payment in any internationally accepted currency. Currency conversions are done automatically agianst daily maintained rates at MasterCard. This enables customers to seamlessly make payments in the local currencies of the host country and be billed in their account currency; US Dollars in our case.

What is the cost of obtaining a MasterCard?
To obtain an STB MasterCard, customers would need to open a domiciliary account with a minimum of $250 and pay a $10 fee for the cost of the card. We are however waiving this fee ($10) in this promotinal phase, for our first 5,000 customers

Can the masterCard and Maestro be used for Internet purchases?
Yes, the masterCard can be used for Internet purchases; however, the Maestro can only be used on ATMs & selected POS devices.
