joseph1832:It goes beyond that. Obama and Clinton are also Christians, but that hasn't stopped them from listening to the right experts, embracing common sense, and being sensitive to people going through painful experiences. |
Ben Carson is willfully ignorant about far too many things. He would make an awful president, making decisions based on his ideological convictions rather than facts and only taking advice from non-mainstream "experts" who share his wacky beliefs. His solid takedown by barely experienced Trevor Noah has changed my mind about him. He was surprisingly insensitive to the shooting victims. |
DidiLove1:Which ones do you intend to try? Pls report the results of your trials to us so we can learn. Did the dog bark excessively at her previous home? |
Sigh. |
She's out during the day but kept in her cage at night. What? Don't do that. Nobody does that. Why are you doing that? Let her out at night and the barking will reduce. She's just bored in the cage. |
I have been busy. So sorry guys. I need to check out the latest entries. |

This thread has been reopened due to Nairaland's new policy on the handling of charity cases. Please accept my sincere apologies for the delay. |
Hope you got the "message" I sent you on behalf of Nairaland Forum? Wishing Light the very best. |
Hello, After a long period of soul-searching and consultation, I'm pleased to announce that, while Nairaland cannot promote any charity case due to the reputational risk, we will start to donate to charity cases that have touched our hearts and touched the hearts of Nairaland members. Consequently, I have just donated 100,000 naira on behalf of Nairaland Forum to one of the charity cases, which has touched our hearts. Regards, Seun. |
Nice dogs. |
which network? |
Aminat508:He just needs to uninstall the bad software called "Ads By Sonic Train" that got installed on his computer by mistake. |
What happened yesterday? LAGOS, Sept 29 (Reuters) - Nigeria's central bank sold 53.08 billion naira ($266.6 million)worth of treasury bills on Tuesday in a bid to mop up excess liquidity, dealers said, as the currency weakened on stronger demand from importers.http://af.reuters.com/article/nigeriaNews/idAFL5N11Z2UG20150929 |
Ben Carson has the right temperament for a good leader, but the problem is that he believes so many wrong things because his entire life has been faith-based. Like all high achieving people of faith, he has developed the ability to shut down his highly intelligent brain whenever it's telling him something that is contrary to his faith. He wouldn't be as disastrous as Fiorina/Cruz because he will actually listen to advice when the advice does not contradict his religious beliefs, and he would continue Obama's legacy of avoiding actions that would make the world hate America. I think he hopes to be picked as a running mate to Donald Trump if Trump wins the nomination, but a JJC-JJC ticket makes no sense. |
jiggaz:Obama's approach to leadership is very Christian. I Timothy 3 says, "Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money ... and he must do so in a manner worthy of full respect... He must also have a good reputation with outsiders..." This is Obama. Thoughtful, faithful, wise, courteous, compassionate, respected. The same can't be said of his rivals. |
Obama is not a Christian fundamentalist or Evangelical, but he's as Christian as most people who call themselves Christians in the world. |
elbinmanny:Aww, your parrot must be really happy with the freedom you've given him. He probably needs more toys to focus his destructive energy upon. |
That's organic fertiliser. Grind it up and pour it on your garden soil! Hopefully it's not poisoned or anything. Do you have a dispute with anyone? |
gnykelly:We really have no moderators there. I've failed to hire the right people and put them there. The lady I trained decided to resign suddenly. |
Anomnity:After we have banned a few hundred people, things will stabilize. If I can get someone to do that, there will be no problem in the section. Members will wear out moderators with endless complaints of insults.Yea. I won't do it until we have a team of capable moderators who won't back down. We will have a rule against insulting any religion. Muslims that open topics in the general section get the insults they deserve as well as Christians. We won't allow Muslims to be insulted anywhere on the forum. They won't say that it's alright just because the insult is in a different section. |
Sissie:The oath is one of the cleverest things we have ever done on this forum. Your failure to understand why it was necessary is very disappointing. |
Prodeegee:3 (or 4) years and 4 months. He's certainly not a puppy, but I usually give him puppy food because: (1) Most dogs prefer the taste and smell of puppy food. (2) Puppy food has much higher nutritional value, yet it's only a bit more expensive than adult dog food. (Is adult food a scam?) |
Thanks for the report. |
We have taken a technical action against them and we will take legal action if they don't cease and desist from this plagiaristic act. |
Looking forward to this. Any idea about where to get rice seeds? |
