So people come together, walk the dogs, then go home? Is there any dating segment?

Where did you get the rich soil?

If you sale a Real estate worth over Naira 100M, and you looking up another bizness let say starting up a filing station!...Then u stumble upon this thread figure out ..you could put the fund on TB and get 14% annual or go with your filling station plan but not sure that could generate 10% per annum of the said amount . Which would you do and why...(The said property sold r family house.)

Put it in Tbills and continue searching until you find a business that can make more than 14% per annum then pull out some funds for that.

is this the Buhari effect or just being plain ?

Just being honest. What does President Buhari have to do with tech awards?

I don't deserve any award this year. Maybe next year ... I've got buns in the oven.

I have a three step solution to this traffic problem but I need a research assistant to help me to perfect it and present it the right way.

Wow, I didn't know we had such dogs around. I think you need to have a strategy for preventing dog fights, considering the breeds you have.

I wouldn't treat a bite from my dog any differently than a regular wound, sincerely. I'd wash it immediately and apply some antiseptic to it.

However, if I was bitten by one of those ownerless, malnourished, disease-ridden dogs on the streets, I'd definitely get an anti-rabies shot.

Rabies is quite rare in vaccinated dogs. Frankly I've never seen or heard about a rabid pet dog. But rabies kills, so Prodegee's advice is right.

The OP is wrong.

How is the BB app different from the Android app?

Ben Carson could have been the second black president of the US. He has a compelling life story and the humble, "not one of the bad ones" temperament that a black politician must have in order to get a lot of white votes. But his political skills are not up to the required level. I don't know why people like to enter politics from the top. You don't start politics by being elected president. You have to start small and acquire skills. I think Ben Carson truly believes that God wants him to run for the presidency straightaway, and that strong faith is his stumbling block.

We are inclined to help in this case. We are studying the facts carefully. But anyone who breaks the rules out of emotion will be banned.

NEXT AUCTION DATE PLS

There is an auction this week.

This is crazy. Did someone just post this thread somewhere? cos so many ppl are jumping in without knowing what the hell is going on.

The first post was merely a proposal. My latest posts represent what I actually plan to do in response to your feedback. You get wetin I talk?

It seems as if people don't understood Englishes.

Sigh. We will not ban people from begging for donations at this time. We will only ban people from asking for investments, etc. Get it now?

Let's try to improve our English Language comprehension please. Pls read what I said carefully. We will ban ONLY investment solicitation.

My conclusion is that the ban against soliciting for investments on Nairaland is acceptable to most people, so we will go ahead with just that.

I believe in charity and helping people, but I believe it should be done with the business-like, result-oriented approach of Bill & Melinda Gates.

I think the people who are most abusive and threatening in their opposition to this idea need to be watched carefully. They are the suspects.

This rule wouldn't prevent any of us from giving. There is no shortage of people who need help in our families, neighbourhoods, churches, etc.

What happens to those who have genuine urgent needs?

We have no really reliable way of distinguishing between genuine needs and those that are not genuine, so I would appeal to people with such needs to rely on other channels of support such as their family members , friends, and churches.

I hereby propose to create a new rule that forbids anyone from asking for money - especially investments and donations - on Nairaland later today. The enforcement of this rule will completely block the activities of many scammers. Any objections?

The grass on your site is lovely. All you need to do is to mow it.

Paragraphs?

Step mother if forced to choose, of course, but the correct answer is that he should say that he has two mothers and call up both of them.

Let's see how Facebook implements it.
