What did he do? |
What's the rationale for this? |
From the article: Splitting India in 1947 caused a breakdown of law and order in which at least 200,000 people died. Some estimates say one million people were killed.I hope that's not want to proponents of division want for their mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers. |
I used my HP laptop with a 650va generator for up to a year and it was fine. I didn't even use a stabilizer/ Ask yourself how come your laptop can work with such a wide range of voltages (110V to 240V)? Most laptops draw about 60W of power, so why should you need a 1500W stabilizer? That makes no sense. So don't listen to these alarmists, but make sure you use it with a battery, so your hard disk won't get damaged if the gen goes off unexpectedly. |
Looking perfect doesn't make you perfect. If a perfect woman could exist, she need not be so pretty. |
Nah, maybe she's not going to the right places. |
I guess singing like a bird didn't hurt. Plus, he has sentenced himself to childlessness already. |
Why is this locked?? |
I think it would have been better to post a link to the topic rather than the page because at any time it may be displaced from the front page: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-413094.0.html |
According to cheaphost and afam4eva, I said Igbo is not one of the major tribes in the country. That's a bold-faced lie, which is why they didn't post the source. Here's a direct quote: Yes, there is a google in yoruba. There's also an on-going effort to translate more google services to Hausa and Yoruba. Unfortunately, Igbo is not being recognizd as a major Nigerian language yet.https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-4554.0.html#msg152771 (check the google cache if you're not convinced this is actually what I said) I have been misquoted in two ways. First, I was not talking about the Igbo language, not the Igbo tribe. Second, I was just lamenting that Google had, at the time, failed to recognize Igbo as a major language, hence the word "unfortunately". So why must people spew lies like this? Why are they this desperate to break Nigeria into pieces? |
They should call it "surname" on the Nigerian site, if possible. |
There's no greater joy than meeting a fellow lover of peace and progress. Thanks aisha. |
Sounds like there's no evidence linking them to the killings; this is just irresponsible journalism. |
I am sorry for getting in the way of your plans to tear my beloved country into pieces. |
Thanks, but I don't really care what they say about me as long as Nigerians at home know that the support for breaking up our dear country is mostly from Nigerians abroad who will be watching the war on CNN. |
Na wah oh. What's all this? Anyway, I'm happy to take the heat for the sake of peace. I just hope people can remember that human lives are more important than whether or not a poll was reset. I'm sorry if I hindered your efforts to promote the break up of my dear country. Over and out. |
@stiyke: thanks for your perspective on the issue. You're a really honest and kind person. It's sad that some people think abstract principles are more important than the lives of their compatriots. It's sad that some people think it makes sense to cut off your head in order to cure a headache. |
I'm sorry for not giving proper notice, but I'm not sorry for giving us a chance to cast a more informed vote. |
Google 'Yankari' |
The problem is that spammers also spam the feedback forum. You could go through 20 posts and al of them would be spammers. SPammers are the blight of the world! |
We're understaffed. So sorry. :-( |
I doubt it has the same video quality as say the HV40 though. |
It is just a nice sounding quote-worthy marketing phrase that really doesn't mean anything. |
