Oh shut up. I have statistics to tell me whether or not participation is "dwindling", but participation isn't my only measure of success. I am more proud of the fact that we have not been condemned in the media for a while.

It depends on what you're goals are. I'm more concerned about not losing money. Hiring moderators might make the forum a little bit cleaner, but I have to pay for an office, computers for the moderator, Internet access, a generator and an inverter, etc, as well as security for all these items. And then I'll have to moderate the moderators. Business-wise I am not convinced that the investment in all that would be a sound one. That is why I'm still doing it alone.

The costs are lower if I hire moderators based abroad, but they expect to earn more money. For example, I can hire a European moderator for an amount which is exorbitant when converted to naira. It's not even going to be a full time moderator. Let's say I decide to make the sacrifice and part with the money, will the moderator generate 700 euros in additional revenue? That is the big question.

You are concerned about your enjoyment of the forum. I understand. But at the end of the day, someone has got to pay the bills. And that someone is is not convinced that getting moderators is a wise step at the moment.

I don't understand why girlfriends take themselves so seriously. It's not as if the relationship will last.

Just go to www.blogger.com and register your blog. Then start posting reviews of all the Nollywood movies you've watched recently and give them a rating on a scale of 1 to 10 in various dimensions such as: story, acting, and technical (clarity of sound, sharpness of video, etc). Once you have a decent amount of traffic and a decent number of reviews (20) you can register for adsense.

Personally, I would have loved to sponsor such a project, but the 'sad' truth is that you don't need the help or permission or sponsorship of anybody to start such a blog. Just start it!

You could even start a Nollywood movie review blog and make some money for yourself.

All we need is for someone to start a popular movie review magazine or tv show. And it can be you.

If the Ghanian storyline was absolute crap, how is it better than a Nigerian movie. The story is the main thing!
