This is just a free meal for the contractor hand-picked by the government officials to supply those materials. Why not just educate people who use okadas often to buy their own helmets? Hehe. People are so gullible. Obviously, the 13,000 naira registration fee is what the government is concerned about. The okada riders played into their trap by engaging in violence, but the government initiated it. The government shouldn't demand money from okada riders, period. This is pure extortion. Don't be decieved! Poor Okada men what will they do nowWhat people do when they are deprived of their means of livelihood? They'll go into crime, of course.  |

yes, borat got nominated. . .the title of that movie is so long.I'm typing this from memory: Cultural Leanings Of America For The Make-Benefit Glorious Nation Of Kazhakstan! Every word in that title is supposed to be funny, but I don't understand what "make-benefit" means. but what is a movie like that doin in the oscarsIt's a very insightful movie that deals with the serious topics of racism and religious prejudice. |

The good news is that "something moving in your body" is probably not HIV, so you should visit a good and patient doctor for a proper diagnosis. That doesn't mean you don't have HIV.  |

I like Hausas and Arabs because I find most of them to be honest, but I don't feel comfortable doing business with them knowing that they can turn murderous anytime. Religion/culture indoctrination is to blame, but the father is more to blame for allowing himself to be indoctrinated. |

At stake at the end of the Intern show are real prizes. The first and second runners up get cash prizes of N1million and N750, 000.00 each. They also get automatic employment, brand new laptops, MBA scholarship at a Business School funded by The Intern TV Reality Show and a full executive wardrobe.I think it would have been more dramatic for the losing contestants to get absolutely nothing instead of automatic employment, a brand new laptop, and some extra cash. It's very hard to feel sorry for evicted Interns who have been guaranteed automatic employment and free laptops. Or what do you think? This is television, afterall! |
