Brazil is playing the way Eagles used to play. The center is completely blocked so Marcelo and Neymar keep running from the left but there’s no one to connect to. The coach is just reacting to the match emotionally like us, instead of creating a new strategy to solve the glaring problem. |
lanreg95:Some coolants require dilution while others do not. |
oyb:Not intentionally. The official policy is to use the best and most original source for every story that we post. |
On behalf of atheists I hereby reject this Duterte fellow. He belongs with the hateful communists and fascists whose evil actions give apologists something to say. A broken clock is right twice a day. I hope Duterte is removed even if his anti-theism is what brings him down. |
Daeylar:He also copied it and then modified it |
Hakeymco, Can you provide any secular scientific or medical authority that says every human being has exactly 360 joints in his/her body? |
Only Christians? |
Ademat7:How long do the seeds need to be parboiled, and what happens if you fail to do this? |
M0ron:Excellent; that means that it will be extremely easy for you to provide a few concrete examples. |
M0ron:Please provide some actual examples of this alleged behaviour. Also, you are either a theist or an atheist yourself, you know. Are you insecure? |
donnie:Nothing. Please don't hate me. |
How can you "curse" something that doesn't exist? ![]() |
“Don’t get high on your own supply” |
HardMirror, you are at risk of actually convincing Christians who need IVF not to try it based on your ironic argument. This is quite dangerous. |
sexdoll:Mynd44 Lalasticlala |
AnonyNymous:Seen. The ending makes sense. I never got to the end before because the other videos on the same topic didn’t impress me like the rest of the videos on the channel. |
I feel that the whole God’s God thing is a waste of the brilliant animators time. A rabbit hole that leads nowhere. I like the stuff that’s more grounded in reality or the actual beliefs of the people we are trying to liberate. Edit: But that’s just how I personally feel. |
vaxx:Well, it seems to be a hypothesis which a lot of lay people find attractive, but it has not been accepted by evolutionary biologists because the evidence for it is very weak. |
thesingleguy:Mynd44, pls handle this. |
midehill:This is a great way to express my position on the existence of God. Just change “my previous neighbour” to “religion”. From an evolutionary POV, without considering the lack of evidence, aquatic human beings are extremely unlikely to exist because we do not share the common ancestor that mammals in the sea (whales and dolphins) share. It is from this ancestor that they got most of the features that allow them to thrive in the sea, such as nostrils at the top of their heads, strong flippers and tails and for swimming with great speed and agility, the ability to hold their breaths for a very long time, their aerodynamic shape that reduces drag as they swim, the ability to give birth under water, the layer of fat that protects them from freezing in cold water and gives them buoyancy, the ability to communicate under water, etc. Human beings cannot live in the sea just because they have tails. It takes far more than that. The biologically changes needed to make human beings seaworthy would make them unrecognizable as human beings. Quick question: if mermaids are spirits, why do they usually have tails? They aren’t physically swimming in the water, right? |
Fellow Nairalanders, The forum was totally down for about 23 minutes this afternoon. I apologize for allowing this to happen. There’s no excuse for it. Regards, Seun. |
I wish your new family the best of the best of everything! |
Lovely thread. |
Update: it seems they are already legally married so the suggestion below applies to others who aren’t yet married. This is a medical matter. Some medical conditions are hereditary, but there is nothing spiritual about that. Let your fiancée go through a comprehensive medical examination including testing for genetic diseases. If they find no cause for concern, marry her without hesitation. If they do, try to figure out whether the medical challenge is curable or manageable. If you know that you can’t be a good husband to her in sickness and in health, that’s unfortunate, but be honest about it. |
If Gods existed, and acted the way the holy books say, there would be no atheists. The video below makes the point very effectively: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLhkPTQvMzQ |
I once read an article that explained that C++ is more deterministic. There are no random GC pauses as with Java. This helps real-time games a lot, it seems. |
The pictures are probably from a comedy skit. That's why we don't have the name of the preacher. |
I guess the fact that he won will help their relationship. |
Udemeeyenabasi:What kind of hurt are you saying the righteous cannot experience? We all know that Christians can be physically and emotionally hurt. Even the Jesus of Mark was emotionally hurt when he faced crucifiction. He cried with a loud voice “My God, why have you forsaken me?” The righteous may fall seven times but God will lift him up each time. When the unrighteous falls just once, he or she is consumed by the situation and cannot recover. I hope you realize soon enough that you need God in your life! What about the millions of Christians who died as a result of their problems? If your situation leads to death, that means you did not recover. |
If your genotype is AS or SS, you should know your partner’s genotype long before he even thinks about proposing to marry you. If your genotype is AA, then you have absolutely nothing to worry about. You can even marry someone with the SS genotype; your children will all be healthy with respect to this condition. They will even enjoy increased resistance to malaria. |
