2020 nd u still believe in Nigeria lol
Now VAT increase from 5% to 8%, the poor pay taxes while the rich embezzle it.
You get US visa stamp on your passport that why you talk like this. If you no get or if SARS Don stop you before you hate in Nigeria will grow stronger.

Why will SARS stopped me? what does having U.S Visa stamp on my passport have to do with this discussion? if you don't believe in Nigeria why is it hard for you to shut up and leave me to my folly or belief.....
This is 2020 please no bad energy here.

I never miss an opportunity to be in Nigeria it is my first home and will always be. I come here every year and I see a steady progress.

I won't think twice to be back fully in naija. I envy you folks, you eat green and fresh straight from the ground, happy people even when suffering and that breath of air and noise that this is home

In Sound Sultan's voice;

"Ajo o dabile ee
No matter where u go, make u try come back area o"

I refuse to be an akata in my fatherland
I am first proudly naija before any second home till I die!
Bro you're not far from the truth, I believe in this country and I know it will work according to my faith in this country, Nigeria will work in my life time and it's the reason why I'm doing my little bit to show the good and sweet side of Nigeria.

You seem like a young person so hopefully my story will inspire you.

Back in the mid late nineties I was what they call an Efiko. My parents never had to pay for school fees it was scholarship up until my first degree

I was a staunch Deeper Life Student whose role model was Pastor W.F Kumuyi ,you can imagine what kind of person I was . I dey use hand cover book for exam wink I NEVER skipped any step in my life or cut corners.

I got the PTDF scholarship while in a Federal University which transformed my life and I graduated top of my class

Exactly one month after NYSC I was hired by a MNC here in Nigeria worked for a few years then the travel perks started to roll in.

Europe, Middle East and North America, then finally the Houston station and those folks refused to let me go back.

If it's not too late for you, your story can be the same. Hard work, diligence, self-respect and above all believe in God then you will be whatever you wanna be without cutting corners

. . . But if it is too late for you my dear I am sorry na your destiny but the best you can do is copy my testimony make a 2'×3' poster out of it and place on the wall to use as an inspiration for your kids

You will thank me later

Mad man... grin
but honestly you try ooo....

Huh....what is wrong with those people.

Why are they choosing to remain undocumented/illegal immigrants when there are a number of loop-holes the US immigration law has with ways they can change their illegal status to become legal.

Getting married to a US citizen is one way...as well as other ways if they are ready to put in the effort.

Getting married to citizen is not easy ooo but doable.

Not impossible, but I strongly believe that was a one way ticket. Remember, that person is on an F1 visa, a student invariably, and is allowed to get such ticket....

And such ticket fare rules will allow date change at a fee

Thanks, seyewest.

Now, if the inviting organization in the USA says that it has sent names of visa applicants to our embassies, what exactly did they do? Does the VO have access to that at any time any of us shows up? And what's the chance of securing a visa for a legitimate purpose and to be back??

The U.S Embassy and CBP reserve the right to issue visa and grant entry into the U.S respectively. Your ties to Nigeria must be convincing.

Una get time ooooooo.... the level of engagement on this thread dropped drastically immediately some people started turning this forum to their football field. ( There's nothing we can do about that because freedom of speech and expression is our number value here)
My advise is that you guys you should go through 1st, 2nd and 3rd thread and ask yourself this questions;

Is my contribution in this forum helpful?
have I made this forum credible?
Can people trust me with their problem, to assist them honestly on how to go about getting U.S visiting visa, through the process of traveling to U.S and returning to Nigeria?

Yeah, I know. I mean at CBP level, why was Emirates call happening there? The below part of the transcript

Emirates EK231 arrives IAD at 8am and depart at 10am, I assumed that they wanted the deportees to leave with the returning flight to Dubai.

Yes, Kayraph!

Was detained once at George Bush International Airport in Houston once, because of 2 Apples I forgot in my check-in luggage from Naija. Since then, I've become their customer at the CBP anytime I'm in the States. In fact, the moment an Officer scans my passport at POE, it will just flag up something. My saving grace was that I declared the Apples on the first day.

There are some foods that are on the prohibition list, fruits and some kind of drinks inclusive.

I assumed they thought you're a drug mule.

Will assume you are talking to Kayraph;

So, oga, on what ground is @the bolded shocked? And what rule did he violate that you are asking him to try not to violate their rules AGAIN? Been to Secondary inspection once, almost 10 years ago, no more delays with CBP ever since, sometimes almost less than a minute sef but hardly more than 2, and Agriculture twice too because of stuffs I brought in, they just scan and notice nothing wrong and pass me. Much more times no sending to Agriculture, I doubt if I have ever entered the US without bringing in things (agricultural) for both my hosts and or friends, it's actually IN THEIR CONSTITUTION if we visitors have sense smiley. Which watchlist you come dey talk of and for what reason for inside dis him transcript?

Meanwhile, Kayraph; wetin concern Emirates for inside your transcript, ABI no be CBP Secondary Inspection you dey the time? Was Emirates doing an onward flight or what? I don't get that.

His last trip to U.S was with Emirates.

I like your pidgin analysis.

Let me tell you something nice here: "You are going to be on their watchlist for a while at any of the POE". Each time you enter the US of A , you will be subjected to rigorous scrutiny. Try not to violate any of their rules again. Avoid traveling with fruits and some agricultural products for now.

Why quote me?

Seyewest

No, you don't need to book any flight for U.S Visa application, I think hotel reservation is more important than flight (even the reservation must be done in such a way you can cancel it free of charge.)

One more thing for the flight, just do an estimate of the number of days you want to spend in U.S that's all, don't forget to include arrival and departure city

I was almost thinking of using Egypt Air on my next trip to the US until you mention the tight legroom.... embarassed embarassed embarassed

The layover (2 hours) and the flight time from Cairo to IAD (11 hours) are still fairer than that of Emirates, we flew about 14 hours from DXB to IAD.

Anyways, I'm sure that my traveling agent is observing proceedings here and we should be able to cook something delicious together when next I want to travel.

Hope you are enjoying your stay in the US.

I won't allow you use it bro

Hmmmm conditions..conditions....I don't understand what you mean by this but the one from Cairo to IAD was bigger than the one from Nigeria to Cairo. I think seating arrangement was 2-3-3 (CAIRO-IAD). I can't remember the other one but it was a bit tight yes it was tight. I couldn't stretch my legs well enough.

Thank you....

Nice, what about the conditions of the plane from Nigeria to Cairo and the plane from Cairo to IAD,

Hello everyone.
Came in through IAD on the 31st via Egyptair with F1 visa. I got a very cheap flight . 248k
Everything was good but the official collected the herbs (wood) and my dried ilorin pomo. She said woods and meat are not allowed. I was sad but the way she was polite about it and all prevented me from looking at her one kind. It is very cold here at Baltimore.

Nice one... Please can you share the trip experience with Egyptair from Nigeria to Baltimore (Washington), I'm curious about Egyptair flight experience. Thank you.

Happy New year @seyewest Thank you for doing a great job here. I will be flying with Emirates from MMA to JFK. I question is about baggage. I'm entitled to 2 check in bags and a hand luggage but will there b an issue if I add my backpack strapped at my back?
No problem at all but look out for the weight.

Dear applicants, you really do not in all honesty need anything more than the below for your B1/B2 visa interview for visiting (different for birthing and conferences also in some cases), especially once these agents begin to press you on the extras to milk you. If you don't have it, forget it, no need faking it, you may actually get into trouble for taking documents from them, they are only after your money.

The important documents are:

A. Your International Passport
B. Your Appointment Confirmation Letter
C. Your DS160 Confirmation Letter
D. Your GTB Visa Fee Receipt
E. 2 Copies of your passport photographs
F. Photocopy of your passport biodata page

Add whatever else you have just to help your confidence, but they are actually not needed. If there's anything extra needed, you will always have the opportunity to get them and submit to the embassy where necessary, hardly and scarcely happens on this kind of application anyways.

Stop falling mugu for these squads that are only out there to exploit you undecided

Wish I can retweet it
