Klass99:
I think women feel this way more than men do, because we have been mostly sold a pipe dream (as women) that marriage and kids bring joy and fufilment. And without these things we will be forever doomed, unhappy and unfulfilled.

So, what do most of us do? We actively pursue this dream or mirage of bliss and fulfilment only to get it, then realize, we are not bursting with joy, we are not happy or fulfilled, like we were told we would be.

Then we want out, but we are afraid of what people will say, the stigma of divorce or being called a bad mother who cannot endure for the sake of her children.
If not that I know that God is a loving Father, I would have said women were cheated with the enormous responsibilities we have been saddled with...

If the man who has the main responsibility of provision alone runs away, he is really a coward and his strength in the 'day of adversity', is really small.

So, what about women who carry so much already and are still made to go and look for money, where do we RUN to.... Luckily enough, women aren't doing badly despite all these responsibilities.

And to think one mumu Zonebie- free is supporting the man.

This seems to me like it's much deeper than that!!!

One cannot really box God.

Ideally they would have been correct but this may not be with pure intentions.

Spirits are genderless....God says He is our Father.... He also said He is a double breasted God.... One who doesn't forget His suckling baby.

However, the Devil has used this genderless thing to deceive humans and now we have lesbians, gays, binaries. International jobs now ask you to specify that they are nondiscriminatory.

God is a Father but not a mere man with the heart of both a Father and Mother....

The next government should have industrial revolution as part of its agenda and encourage policies that allow investors both Nigerians and foreigners to easily invest in Nigeria....Start ups too should be encouraged on a more massive scale with visa friendly policies for non Nigerians so that Nigerians would have readily available jobs.
Car TalkRe: I Went To Driving School Today And I'm Really Giving Up. by sharone21(f): 1:50pm On Feb 09, 2023
emoboy4u:
Lol, My dad be telling me same thing "learn manual son, auto was originally made for disabled people".

I sha enrolled in driving school auto and manual full course. I drove a real car ( manual ) for the first time in my life, it was stressful. You had to mentally monitor the engine sound in order to change gear, no clutch pedal - no party, if you take your leg off the clutch too soon, car will stall, if you step on the brakes without stepping on clutch, car will stall.

The werey instructor did not tell inform me that he can brake the car from his end. He'll just tell me "clutch down", and when I do, car will slowly stop.

The traffic light goes ⛔. I was at the front row. Immediately the light went 🟢, I hurriedly took my legs of the clutch pedal so that I can accelerate. Kpaka kpaka! Car stalled, I understood what 'being under pressure' means when about 20 cars behind me went smashing their horns.

Five days went by, I still cannot make a proper turn. It's either I turn too fast or too slow or steer too hard. I thought I was braindead, I can never know how to drive. I told the guy I wanted to drive auto..

Seatbelts, check! mirrors, check!, Ignite the car and off I drove. AUTO WAS TOOO EASY. There and then I vowed not to consciously touch a manual car again. My confidence shot up. I started feeling like some low-budget Vin Diesel.

I graduated, collected my permit. A week after I finished my training, I traveled to greet my Aunt in another state. Myself and Aunt (never knew I enrolled in driving school) went to get stuff in the Market. When we were done buying, she went:

Aunt: "I'm tired, wish you knew how to drive now, shey I'll just be resting"

Me: *hold my beer* , Opened Google Maps.

...and the rest they say is history.
My problem is how to steer the wheel properly so I don't enter pavements or gutter- being able to know that I'm in the middle of the 'divide' while driving and not driving on another person's side of the road. Though I saw on YouTube that one can measure with one's leg while on the seat with the steering wheel....

Another problem is turning after putting on the trafficator- the extent to which I steer the steering wheel to my right or left direction to turn appropriately.

Learning how to reverse soon.

My instructor is using a manual for me but explaining how automatic works too.

I know even after learning, I still need to buy one small automatic and still put a good driver around me till I learn well.

According to the law, seems Nigeria needs one to have 25 driving lessons and UK wants one to have 45 driving lessons apart from 20 lessons personally... So all still boils down to practicing.

Banks should enforce it on customers. If the banks keep quiet then they directly benefiting from the fraud.

Someone need to sue one bank to court and watch how others will enforce it immediately.

Such a thing can never happen over here.
Can't be enforced because many of our bank apps have problems to register them fully and to use them.... Some will later block one's pin and one can't necessitate transfers. Even to snap with it's app camera na kasala sef.

Banks ought to have smooth running apps that can run with different phone versions.
BusinessRe: How To Differentiate A Fake Transfer From An Original One by sharone21(f): 2:40pm On Feb 08, 2023
Alusiizizi:
This point is a bit more complex as depending on the bank(info which we are not privy to) it can determine whether to continue with the client of chase him out of your sight. I think that most of these fake alert apps will query the banks for your info(that's how they are able to get your full name) and the phone number may or may not be included in this information packet. In principle there is absolutely no reason why the client would need your phone number to make a transfer and if he is asking for it then he's probably a fraudster.
Phone number may be requested so that once transfer is made, one can send him the alert( remove your balance pls by screenshotting and editing) via phone sms/ WhatsApp. Especially when there is deadline to be met by who is transferring the money.

As the other guy mentioned don't give phone number that is linked with ones account.

They said they sorry that it is still because they haven't gotten someone else for the same position yet.
I refunded the exact amount of money back the company account not minding the bank changes on my account.
Can you believe the following month I got a credit alert from same company again. I call them and warn them to remove my name from their system and refunded the money back to them again.
Mind you at that time I was without job

FamilyRe: Your Husband Is Not Your Friend, He Is Your Lord — Nigerian Man Tells Women by sharone21(f): 3:07pm On Feb 05, 2023
The Lord and King that I know is a VERY loving and thoughtful one.

So, if my husband be like that one, I will be the happiest.

He is correct in saying that Christ is the Head just like man and the body of Christ ( Church) is the woman ... That is why a man MUST love a woman more so that in marriage he will not be debating everything he needs to help his wife do.

Once we start to disrespect the Bible, problem starts and the woman suffers more.

Update:

We got DQ I think June, I was expecting Montreal to take 1year for the interview date like they did with my friend. But surprisingly we got a date in august for OCT 31st. I came down to Montreal to have the interview and they asked us to provide a different type of police cert.

Apparently the one we got was the basic criminal record check, but they wanted the “full repository from RCMP”. Anyways, I went back to work and we are planning on sending the additional documents along with our passports back to the consulate soon.

I needed my passport to get back into the states, so I collected it back after the interview.

Wishing everyone a testimony filled year. Feel free to send me an email after passing Nclex and in need of a USA employer.
Does it mean that Police report from Nigeria isn't necessary just that of finger prints from USA?

FamilyRe: Why Are Women Outliving Men? by sharone21(f): 9:51am On Jan 23, 2023
The 'illegal' stresses men give themselves eg cheating, womanizing, keeping unnecessary secrets, gambling etc apart from what could actually stress them: village people due to envy, politics, lifestylechoices: drinking, smoking etc

The woman carries pregnancy for 9 months and pushes out baby ALONE..... Does house chores, some will even fetch water ( pregnant/ not) in homes where they have wells while their able bodied men are alive, do home work/ breast feed/ cook almost at same time, chase higher degrees like men, chase money.....

And the only thing men can do to show they are REAL MEN which is looking for money, they still beg for support from women... They turn cry babies and say: they need support from women.....looking for money is not for only one person( I wonder the day men will help women carry pregnancy and push out babies)..... Men will not die of stress chasing money( lol.... Thing wen women dey do and not crying, just that when married at least there should be VALUE added to a woman's life by her King.... Women may talk to their men inside the house so they live up to expectations but women try not to spread this outside to preserve the dignity of their 'ogas'....

I think the men are physically stronger but women have inner strength and resilience besides from birth women have been going through PAINS and thus are stronger... Pains like: ear piercing, making their hair, seeing their period, carrying pregnancy, pushing out babies unlike men that the major pain they had was circumcision which some girls also do.

Anyway, I thank God that despite being tagged the weaker gender and ladened with more work especially in Africa, women still live longer.
PoliticsRe: Divorce: Asiya Ganduje To Return Bride Price To Inuwa Uba by sharone21(f): 12:21pm On Jan 20, 2023
Righthussle:
Women stand up to end the culture of bride price in Nigeria. The practice of the bride price is demeaning to women. It makes many African men feel as though they “own their wives” and therefore feel they have the right to do as they wish.

Paying the bride price means there's an implicit moral obligation on a woman’s part to respect and obey her husband’s commands and wishes. Psychologically, the practice creates an ownership mentality in men which may lead them to see their wives as their ‘purchase’ over whom they exercise unfettered authority, including physical and psychological abuse.

The payment of bride price is also associated with the perception of women as ‘acquired properties’ over whom men exercise authority and control. The transactional character of the practice could ‘objectify’ and ‘commoditise’ women in marriage.

#Saynotobrideprice
Lol.... This thing started with men NOT women...

Bia, how much the man pay( for priceless human being, abi e reach minimum of $1 billion) that will make him think he OWNS her?

If bride price must be returned, the man must return the woman to pre- marriage state.

If men spend much on their daughters and resolve that it should now be free, no problem from women.

Anyway, the best way is to charge N20 brideprice and let the man buy things for the traditional wedding which is part of what eats money.

Ardern made sure COVID was minimal in NZ when countries like Spain, Italy etc had it tough even with men in power.... That is just one of several.

We need women like this in Africa, Nigeria.

It is an insult/ very insensitive to women for men to say or imply that they don't want to die of stress for a home that bears YOUR NAME.

Thanksful:
Hunger has dealt with human so much that they have lost their minds.

A male child is not for feeding a family, is for protecting the name of a family.

Every child is important but only a male child can maintain the lineage of a family. The genetic code of a family is stored in the male child.
But names change... How do we link Onyeama, that was great grandfather's name to now Chigozie that is the present surname.... Moreso if no physical resemblance....

So, which name are we still keeping in that lineage? We should also pray that one bad egg will not be born that will tarnish that name for life even if they keep the name till the 1000th generation.
