Sirjamo:
I understand Baba Kuka's frustration. During the time of the ineffectual buffoon, Pastors get import duty waivers on everything they import, including private jets.

They occasionally walk into aso rock to collect brown envelope and contracts worth billions. Buhari would have none of that nonsense.
you think this point will fly, every sane Nigerian knows Buhari 's endgame. you can't give all the juicy post to your northern brothers while those from other parts are being appointed as special assistant. who head petroleum, security, finance, judiciary, military. you think this are just coincidence or maybe the north is more qualified, literate than the other parts of Nigeria?

its just like coming into my house, you steal my phone and TV set but left my laptop for me and then you say you did me a favour, the mindset of Nigeria's leaders is already known they will never understand logic, common sense, you can't even engage such individuals with logic and reasoning, because their ideas didn't even come by logic or reasoning, the best we have to do is to just take back our nation, no need for dialogue with this fools because they still won't get it.

nothing new in all of this in other nations the duty of the media aide and information minister is to keep the masses informed, but in Nigeria its all about the changing the narrative to shield evil, distort facts, logic and creative reasoning, just to protect evil, nobody expects anything good to come out of this govt its been five years already, we are who we are.

Christianity Etc › Re: Oyedepo: Those Saying Pastors Are Stealing Risk God’s Wrath by Shattuck(m): 10:55am On Dec 20, 2020
most churches in Nigeria lacks financial accountability, which give way for financial mismanagement there is a difference between the church taking care of a pastors need and taking care of his greed, most men of God live extravagant life at the expense of the church funds, such lifestyle is what they mistake for God's blessing and prosperity.
Politics › Re: Aisha Yesufu Condemns Use Of Miyetti Allah To Negotiate Release Of Schoolboys by Shattuck(m): 9:09pm On Dec 18, 2020
seunmsg:
Why are they so angry that the boys are back? We trended #Bringbackourboys and they are all back. So, why the anger?

When Chibok girls were abducted, we all urged the Jonathan government to do everything possible to bring them back. If Jonathan had been proactive in the early days of the abduction, all the girls would have been safely returned and international embarrassment would have been avoided.

Buhari simply learnt from Jonathan’s mistake by moving quickly to negotiate a peaceful release instead of living in denial and blaming opposition like Jonathan did. So, why are they angry that he did everything possible to return the boys? Is this not what we all wanted?
you know there is a saying that goes like this, don't tell me what they said about me, tell me why they felt comfortable telling you. this guys are terrorist now for an organisation to have a direct access to them tells a story, could they be affiliated, if yes how does the government intend to use that knowledge to defeat them, well I guess Buhari may no have any intention of defeating them, because maybe he has a soft spot for them.
Politics › Re: Deji Adeyanju Accuses Buhari Of Encouraging Terrorism, Kidnapping In Nigeria by Shattuck(m): 8:58pm On Dec 18, 2020
milkyworld:
I want to disagree with Deji but first I need sincere answers to these four questions

1. On what terms and conditions were those boys released and handed over to the government security officials?

2. If truly those kidnappers/bandits were paid to release those boys, haven't we indirectly created a nefarious kind of business for bandits/kidnappers?

3. What plans do the government have to capture those bandits/kidnappers involved in these crimes?

4. What is the punishment for kidnapping/banditry in Nigeria?

Sincere answers please...
there is obviously no punishment.when America rescued it's citizen recently they killed the kidnappers, obviously it wasn't a rescue mission as there would have been casualties, a new sector has been added to our national budget from now hence I guess the govt would need to start budgeting funds for payment of ransome for terrorism.

Don't mind the stupid US paid agent and traitor, Sowore.

They have paid him to come and promote ''revolution'', so that we can start killing each other en masse, so the Americans can come in as ''saviours'', and turn us into their new Iraq or Afghanistan or Syria or DR Congo.

Useless.
I guess in your head sowore is a bigger threat to Nigeria than bokoharam and the clueless govt.you don't even need the US to start killing each other Nigerians are already doing it, your fulani brother are already doing it, Boko Haram, the military are already doing it.

Politics › Re: Shiites Protest In Abuja To Mark 5 Years Of #ZariaMassacre by Shattuck(m): 12:30pm On Dec 15, 2020
gidgiddy:
The primary responsibility of government is security and welfare of its citizen. When government becomes the ones who are unjustly killing its own citizens, then the country is a failed state.

Im an Igbo and a Christian, I dont know much about Shiites or their religion. But it is pure madness for the Nigerian Army to massacre hundreds of Shiites because they blocked the road to the Chief Of Army Staff. What sort of insanity is that? Where is so important that General Burutai was going that can worth the life of anyone?

If it were in a sane country that the Army commited such genocide against its own citizens, heads will roll including that of the Chief of Army Staff. You say you have democracy and the rule of law but the Nigerian Army will just take it upon themselves to go and massacre civilians at will. From Odi to Zakibiam, from Obigbo to Lekki toll gate, same story. Extra-judicial killings and military terrorism abound

Symbol of a failed state.
its funny they will tell you they are just defending Nigeria, there is a reason every nation has a constitution and law, there are rules of engagement, even in war, in Nigeria anything goes how can you murder hundreds of people yet he still walks as a free man, and someone somewhere will tell you that buhari is law abiding, the level of crime against humanity in Nigeria is just shameful, 60 years after independence nothing to show for our collective existence.

They know the havoc they've wreaked on the economy and they've seen a sample of how quickly the tables can turn against them that's why they're following Dieziani's footsteps by buying foreign citizenship...
this is the most annoying part of it as only a few non politically exposed d Nigerians can afford such citizenship investment, after looting our common wealth you take it overseas to life a happily ever after life.
Politics › Re: Should Buhari Resign? - Daily Trust by Shattuck(m): 3:58pm On Dec 13, 2020
in a sane society he wouldn't even have the privilege to decide whether to resign or not he would have been impeached and forced out by the masses, the level of corruption in this govt is alarming, combine that with buhari's lack of knowledge, zero economy, zero security, yet the masses who dare to speak up against this evil are been shot dead and treated as terrorist, trying to change the narrative that they are about to destroy the country, when in reality they are saving nigeria. you can't stress this enough, we don't deserve buhari I don't care to know how mighty our sins may be, we don't deserve this.
