AMINDA: A live bullet from an AK47 shot from 100 yards is capable of killing 3 people standing right behind each other via entry and exit holes. An AK47 on automatic is capable of firing more than 50 rounds per second. In other words, it wouldn't take more than 5 soldiers to level up every living thing in sight on that night if they really shot live bullets at the protesters. We wouldn't be searching for evidence of killings after 4 months if that were the case, it will be too glaring for all to see.
Go back and watch the video of the Governor, he said a casualty was recorded in an "isolated incident" that happened at Admiralty road and the person died from "blunt force trauma", not gunshot wounds. The testimony of the Army was aired live on Channels TV and you can still watch excerts on YouTube. We do not have any testimony from DJ Switch nor any protester for that matter. Only rhetorics and already debunked fake videos and images on social media. Do not outsource your thinking capability to celebrities and Twitter influencers. Think for yourself! I am an independent thinker I know for a fact that all may not be true, but I don't trust the govt and for the fact that the military of an entire nation can be so shameless to lie several times tells you there was something wrong with the truth that they didn't want to reveal, who lies like that? with all of this lack of trust I believe full transparency does more good than the govt trying to control the narrative. |
Politics › Re: Rinu Oduala Pulls Out Of #EndSARS Panel In Lagos by Shattuck(m): 10:26pm On Feb 12, 2021 |
AMINDA: Good question. The Lagos judicial panel was set up on the 18th of October, 2020 as part of the 5for5 demands of the EndSars protesters to address issues of Police brutality. Lekki Toll Gate incident happened on the 20th, two days after. In the first month of inauguration, the panel received more than 80 "genuine" petitions from victims of Police brutality including the sister of Evans the notorious kidnapper. The Army was only invited to give their testimony following the Lekki incident, and they obliged. Whereas, DJ Switch and others didn't deem it fit to honour summons, not even via Zoom. But they keep wanting you to believe a massacre happened through emotional blackmail on social media.
Rinu pulling out of the panel over the judgement on LCC to take back ownership of the toll gate shows that the agitation was never for victims of Police brutality in the first place, they simply had their ulterior motives. The facts speak for themselves. the army obliged right? so what was the verdict of the panel on the mililiary concerning the Lekki incident? why did the army have to lie several times about events at the toll gate? first the lied they weren't there, then they accepted they were there but didn't shoot, after enough evidence against their stance, they then accepted they were there but only shot blank, then there was the photoshop lie. I saw a video of the gov confirming a death at the toll gate, who shot and killed him? what about the fashola camera? look the number of casualties may be debateble but one can't deny that an unlawful act of injustice was done on that day. |
Politics › Re: Rinu Oduala Pulls Out Of #EndSARS Panel In Lagos by Shattuck(m): 10:10pm On Feb 12, 2021 |
gawu1: Who do you expect to answer those your hypothetical questions. It is onus on those who said there were such things like Lekki shooting to prove to the panel with evidence, but not the other way round. However, were there any other order? This question answered all your assumptions. if nothing happened at the toll gate why did the govt set up a judicial panel? if there was no evidence of injustice what was the panel doing for over three months and why was it set up? |
Politics › Re: Rinu Oduala Pulls Out Of #EndSARS Panel In Lagos by Shattuck(m): 10:04pm On Feb 12, 2021 |
AMINDA: Avoid sanctions? From who? Who is sanctioning the US for its crackdown on capitol hill protesters? Do you people even know that the Yellow Vest protests is still going on in France with massive government crackdown? Of course, the media has chosen to impose a total blackout on it. They only encourage Insurrectionists when it happens far from their home soil. Emancipate yourself!
More than 3 months after the "massacre", how do you explain the fact that no single witness turned up as victim or family of a protester from the Lekki toll gate. Are you also one of those who believes that the government threatened all of them? if by your argument nothing happened at the tollgate, then why did the govt set up a judicial panel? why does the army have different versions of event? |
Politics › Re: Rinu Oduala Pulls Out Of #EndSARS Panel In Lagos by Shattuck(m): 5:44pm On Feb 12, 2021 |
the panel was just a scam, set up by the govt to safe face on the international community and to avoid sanctions, more than three months after the massacre valid answers have not been given or established, who gave the orders? who are who were involved? high high did it go? how many people were killed? was it because of the tollgate ? who owns the toll gate? no answers were given just beaten around trying to divert attention. |

LegendHero: So if the soldiers shoot at computer village or the Seaport, the next thing is for these places to be shut down and destroyed?
Many of you guys don’t even give a bleep about the victims but you just want it shut for few reasons:
1. People don’t want to pay tolls again because we have been wired to think the government can provide everything so we should use it for free instead.
2. The people that think Tinubu owns it, they want it shut down to get back at Tinubu and have a bragging right.
3. Those celebrity that want to trend again with this.
4. People that are really concerned (unfortunately they are few).
One funny thing is that people are passing the tollgate currently and the only difference is that toll fees are not being paid. So I really don’t understand how people could disrespect the ‘dead’ and keep driving through the place if that’s the narrative they are pushing. how insensitive, if the govt cares about the tollgate why not provide justice for the victims, no you wanna have your cake and eat it. |

thebosstrevor1: Government need to regulate social media.
Social media is the cause of all these problems.
Naive people write and post fake informations online to incite violence without knowing the consequences of their actions.
When you start to blame a particular group for all the violence in Nigeria, that group wont sit down and look in idle they will react in anger and violence.
People lives are at stake, a possible civil war will end in disaster for everyone.
Believe me, you don't want to lose your properties, sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, uncles and aunties to war.
Neither will you love to see your hands and legs chopped and your sisters or mothers raped in your front because you come from a particular tribe.
War is evil. the way you said they will react in violence like they have the constitutional right to do so, that is the problem encouraging lawlessness, the same thing you did during the protest, freedom of speech is a right, until otherwise stated, killing people because they have an opinion about you isn't a right, guess you don't know anything about the rule of law. |
