@pickabeau1
thank you for your advice, what I meant by going that route is I will send evidence of a transaction like mozo said, I actually had a large amount deposited into my account but I did not submit my SOA instead I submitted a fixed deposit certificate, i'll submit a copy of the receipt.
if you have any other suggestion I would appreciate it. thanks
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Shayo5: 11:29am On Jul 15, 2015
@ mozo thank you very much, I think i'll go that route

thank you everyone

mozo:
My two cents is, if you can get someone to transfer the required amount to your account to suffice for your 'family of three'. Then tell them you just sold probably a land or car, (obviously you will provide a receipt or some sort of evidence of the transaction). It would great if you really do have something of similar value that you can sell to make up the amount they want to see and 'provide proof' of transaction.
Just a heads up, for a single applicant the required amount is around $11,898 (about 2 million, depending on the exchange rate these days) with this you can do the math on how much they will like to see in your account for a family of three..
The clock is ticking..
All the best.

We are now completing the assessment of your application for a permanent resident visa. It appears that you may not meet the requirements for immigration to Canada in the skilled worker category.

(ii) be awarded points under paragraph 82(2)(a), (b) or (d) for arranged employment, as defined in subsection 82(1), in Canada.

Before we make a final decision, you may submit additional information relating to this issue. You must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you get to Canada. You cannot borrow this money from another person. You must be able to use this money to pay the costs of living for your family (even if they are not coming with you). Valuations of current property are not acceptable as proof of available funds. You must have in the form of transferable and available funds, unencumbered by debts or other obligations. @Apple19

congrats on ur lil bun and welcome, get a pen and a notebook, go to part one and read read READ !!!!!

U need info not just on hospitals and Drs, u need info on "burden of proof", POEs, accommodation, birth certificate SSN passport and lots more.

i'll advise you stay with friends or family but if u want to stay on ur own Houston is your best option (that's my own opinion o).

Read carefully it could be tasking at first but u'll find it very interesting and addictive, my baby is 5 months old and I'm still here (covers face). Ask questions on stuff u r not clear on.

@lala erm waiting for ur Houston poe story grin

Yes I got that bill of $440last year October when I gave birth in Elpaso. The reason you got that bill was because your pediatrician was not available at the time of birth so the hospital had to provide one for you. What you would is to call them and inform them that you are a self paying patient and they will automatically ask you to pay half which is $220 within 20 days from which the bill was printed.
Thank you very much

@Dallas Mums, please help with this enquiry.

I used medical center Arlington/omega Obgyn and I was not quarantined but some hospitals ask the patient to be quarantined and some hospitals don't accept foreigners from Africa for now.

Dear Nairalanders,

Hi,
Everyone has had different Poe experience
Just have ur necessary docs and be honest, that's one thing this thread had emphasized on.
I advise u read through the entire thread for more info,if u av read recent Poe stories u'll that most people have had great stories to tell even @ places like Houston and Atlanta.
U'll get names of other hospitals as well the ones u mentioned are the popular ones cos of cost or u can just google, but be careful cos of the locations might b far from the dr's office and stores.

Good luck.

Please share!
Cheers!,

Hello house, please for those that ever had their doctor's letters checked at POE. How much correspondence are you expected to have with your doctor. I've made an enquiry, got a response with the cost attachment. No dates or commitment. Just wondering if this would do or we need to do more. Thanks
The response you got is sufficient, they just need to see u av contacted a dr and they want to compare the fees to the amount of money you have.

Hi,it states on the letter that you r not legally obligated to inform the embassy, your entry into the US is determined by the way ur answer asked. I did not write to the embassy to inform them of my change of plans cos the visa allows u access medical facilities but u cannot use Medicaid.
But if it makes u comfortable u can get the letter hopefully they won't get tired of people writing them to inform them of the change in their travel plans

U shouldn't have any issues just have your evidence of payments made and correspondence with your dr and the hospital if any. Just be honest with the Poe officer when u r asked any questions.

house, Will poe officer allow a 34 weeks pregnant mum travelling to US for the first time entry?
With all bills paid down. But what was stated at the interview was vacation.
