sorry for the refusal, it happens sometimes, at least you were not kept waiting for months.
Apply for your CBSA/GCMS notes to see the details for the refusal. You can apply for reconsideration while waiting for the notes.
Go to youtube and watch videos on how to apply you might see something you missed or tips on how to do things differently.

Good luck

As long as you can explain and provide evidence for the payments it should be an issue. Ensure your explanation and evidence are clear and legit

Good morning gurus, I'm preparing to reapply for student visa by January 2023. My school resumption date is May 2023. I was refused on Nov 28. But as the applicant I felt I should include my own statement account.

Pls how much did you think I can send to my account?

Won't this payments raise suspicions?

Try and use MBS format, reducing the size will reduce the quality. You can use Ilovepdf to reduce the size to 4MB and see if the statement is ok for submission

Submit your new LOA if you have it

Kingkool77:
Dear Nairalanders. I applied for study permit for september 2022 intake which obviously has passed without getting a decision from IRCC . But today I got an email from IRCC to submit a copy of my new travelling document (Passport) and an updated study plan if any , via email to the embassy handling my application within 1 month from today.
N.b the passport I used in applying for the study permit will be expiring by march next year. But I have already renewed it. My question is what do they mean by " any updated study plan". Is it a new letter of acceptance or what could they want?
Any input would be appreciated guys.

Hi, you can add your statement of result or transcript and the requirements for a masters program to your SOP explain that with your results you do not currently qualify for a masters program hence you chose to take a diploma course, attach your certificate and your statement of result to your application
Buuukoooo:
Please any idea on this?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Shayo5: 1:48pm On Oct 19, 2022
so sorry, the wait can be excruciating, maybe you should contact an MP to make enquires about your application.

it’s sad bro and yes I used to order gcms notes every month since January to July this year and I noticed that my document is not touch or being review because all my notes is all the same for 6 months.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Shayo5: 11:02am On Oct 19, 2022
WOW!!!
have you got your GCMS notes? this delay is too long.

Silas12345:
My visa application was submitted online to IRCC on June 17 2021, did Biometrics Completed and upfront Medical Examination, one expired after a year and I did another one and is passed since august 2022. And since then I have not received any further progress on my application status and there is still no update being made. IRCC is playing with my mental health, A whole fucking 16 months is not fair at all. And the worst is that I’m a second time applicant.

Hello all,

Breakfast from IRCC was served hot this morning, it's back to the drawing board.
Got my notes a few weeks back, I think they were not able to make out part of my POF, one of my account statements was not in the MBS format and the version I uploaded was not clear, though I sent the clear version via mail and webform more than once.
I even sent the MBS version with a letter of explanation last night grin

Congrats to all who got their PPR and to those still waiting hang in there.

Let me go back to youtube and master how to write LOE and arrange my documents well.

Give them the details of the account that was debited, the account the money came from.

Fardowsa:
Hi, everyone. I requested a refund for my school fees and my school has sent the money back to Flywire. Now, Flywire is asking for the information of the originating account, in order to process the refund.
Beneficiary account no
Beneficiary name
Beneficiary address
Swift code

Which account am I going to give them? I used Form A to pay the fees. Is it my fathers account information or what?

Thanks

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Shayo5: 9:11am On Sep 30, 2022
Hi, though i agree with you, also note that some people have been waiting for months and may not remember all that they submitted with their application, some are too excited to sit and type.

You can refer to the older versions of this thread some of them have a full list of the documents some applicants provided, no two applications are the same some are self sponsored and some take out loans where as some are sponsored by members of their family/work/a close friend and each category have different requirements.

Youtube is also a great place to find information, also ask questions here you will get your answers.
All the best with your application.

Betterlife30:
Please, I want to say something. Please, don't attack me o. I think we are gaining little/nothing from this thread now. People will get PPR and the only thing they will write is it's PPR guys and then put the date they applied, did their biometrics, medicals, the day eligibility review started, etc. The truth is all those are useless. Totally useless, at least to me, I don't know about others. I don't care about the date you did all those, all I care about is how you do it, the documents you submitted, the steps you took when it's getting delayed, how you package your application, etc. Let's stop all this date stuff, nobody is learning anything from it. By the grace of God, when my PPR dropped, I will write everything in details including webforms I sent and what it entails. That's the only way someone with similar profile will know what exactly to do.
I beg of you, let us change and start dropping something meaningful when we receive our PPR. This place is not for show off, we are here to learn. Biko, let's work on that. Thank you

As long as you can show the source of the 20m. It is always better to get someone close who you can prove your ties to be your sponsor.

Hello everyone,

Been a silent reader for some time, I submitted my application in June, medicals approved in July.
I applied for my GCMS notes in August and i got it back this morning, I noticed that under my POF only my statement of my cooperative account was noted my spouse account statement where we have the bulk of the money for this venture was not.
I had sent the said account statement as a web form and as an attachment via email to Nairobi when i noticed that the compressed one that was upload with my application was not clear.
I am at a cross roads on what to do next, should I still send via webform again? Please help.
Thanks

Hi, June 2nd applicant here, I applied myself and i have not heard from IRCC either.

You can order for your GCMS notes, hopefully it comes and you can see the status of your application.

I pray we all hear from them soon.

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/other-visa-categories/transit.html
I believe this will help, you need a transit visa, except the airline is saying you are not getting off the plane.

Jay5050:
Greetings to Everyone,

Please I have a flight schedule for next week. The flight details is: Delta Airlines, from Lagos to Canada. There will be a stop at Atlanta, USA.

My question is: I only have a Canada study visa. I am not a Canadian citizen or Permanent resident. Will I have issues stopping in the US as I am aware of the transit visa requirements. The flight was booked for me from the US. I have argued with my relative that booked this flight that I believe I will need a transit visa to stop in the US and she had to call Delta Airlines in the US and an immigration officer in Atlanta Airport to find out, and they assured her that I won't have any issues. But I can't deny I am still a little skeptical about this. Please, has anyone fly to Canada through the US without a transit visa?

Thanks ❤

I guess you should take the documents you would have sent with your passport if you had to send it via post. You can search on google and youtube you might just find the list documents required.

Thanks to everyone that has been instrumental to my success. God bless you all. May you reap your reward here on earth and in heaven also, amen.

Thank you for you response.

olufunbi:
You can travel with your children ,Us Citizens can enter Canada and stay there for 6 months, if you have a study permit approval your childern will have their study permit at the point of entry. However,I am not sure of medicals.

Though i know someone who travelled with his child recently and the child did not do medicals before he left Nigeria and was also given his study permit at the poinf of entry.

Congratulations on the PPR for you and your family, did you add child 3 to your application?
I would like to know cos i did not add my kids to my application but they are US citizens, does it mean we can travel together and apply for their study visa at POE without medicals and biometrics?

olokings:
My people! My people!!!!

It is PPR x5 oooooooh. We are a family of six (6)!!!!

Omo! The initial shock of receiving the donotreply mail can raise BP to the roof.

I have received PPR for my self (Study permit), SOWP for Spouse, Study Permit x 2 (for Child 1 & 2), Visitor Visa (for minor - 1 yr old). Child 3 is a US citizen so we will apply Study Permit at the border.

April 30th Applicant.

I am still digesting the ecstacy in the office.

Detailed timeline and document to follow later.

Charity james, 2Pretty4U, Kiara and the overall NL family I wish us all positive results in our application.

Hi, your space was withdrawn probably because your study permit has not been approved or you are yet to notify the school of the approval.
Check the refund policy of the school.
Cannywaka:
My school jus withdrew me from my program today with this flimsy reasons of no seat etc. I thought by paying 16k cad, I have secured the seat for the session. Please what do Y'all suggest I do as the next intake is September 20223. Will I loose my tuition? I did not request for any withdrawal or deferral. Who has experienced this and how did you resolve it.

Hello house, for those who did their biometrics in Lagos and sent the passports to Abuja after PPR, did you pay the extra charge(can't remember what its called) at DHL office?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Shayo5: 1:34pm On Aug 12, 2022
what does she mean that your case was reapealed? this person is not been straight forward with you. if your application is yet to be submitted please get the log in details and continue from where she has stopped. you cannot reapply until your initial application has been refused, if there was a refusal i doubt that notarization would be the cause, she should show you the mail from IRCC stating that your application was denied, then get your logging details from her.
Once you have your application number and UCI order for your GCMS notes, there you will see in detail the status of your application, and if there was a refusal you will be able to see the VOs comments and work on it in your next application. Good luck.

bucceryor:
Please, is there any sense in this?
She later came up with the excuse that they had to reapply after my case was reapealed because the first sponsorship letter I have was not properly notarized.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Shayo5: 12:47pm On Aug 11, 2022
