Wuoche: Is electricity imported? Ruto just need to sort out electricity prices and fuel prices (subsidies) and cost of almost everything will go down.
Check the cost of fuel and electricity before he became president. What's the need of removing subsidies on food, fuel and electricity then use that money to buy cars for himself, appoint his sycophants unlawfully and reduce jobs? During uhuru's time there were programs like kazi mtaani which employed so many youths, pesa kwa wazee which gave elderly stipend at the end of every month and a certain mothers fund. All these Ruto has crapped, why? To increase allocation of fund to himself. Even those who voted for him are now regretting.
GeneralDae: I don't blame them for thinking Obi can win. Everywhere they look on social media, they only see Obidients so it's normal they believe they occupy the entire country.
They will tell you Nigerian youth are behind him.
As if Adamu from zamfara or Musa from jigawa are not Nigerian youth also.

There were other mistakes. Pressured as to the reason for their confidence in Obi as a front-runner in the election, Western journalists regularly cited surveys, many of which, by omission or design, seem to have been armored against evidence. Persistent warnings about the limitations of polling in light of Nigeria’s sociological and ethnoregional particulars went unheeded. Nor did many Western journalists seem willing to make the simple admission that the voice of young Nigerians as encapsulated in the Obi-dient movement, while legitimate, did not necessarily aggregate the voice of every young Nigerian. No allowance was made for the country’s obvious political and cultural heterogeneity,
ProblemChild1: Look at this mumu. When inec declared thiefnuuubu winner, the whole country was so fvcking quiet. Nobody, I repeat, Nobody is in support of Tinubu. Go and ask very well. Thiefnuuubu won the election through rigging. You're just typing nonsense because you don't have single common sense walai
You went around the 774 LGA in Nigeria to come to this conclusion. 😂😂
It’s the way many of you think Nigeria starts and ends in your neighborhood.
That’s why you’ll think Obi won the election because he won your polling unit.
GeneralDae: I believe in the national government saving money if savings is for a purpose other than itself. For a government that prints its own currency, to save that currency merely for saving’s sake is to accumulate worthless paper.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu----2014.
I wonder if Tinubu still holds this view though. For me, saving dollars in an excess crude account is the only wise thing to do but saving naira in a bank makes no sense.
Money is a stimulus for economic production.
Money needs to be injected into the economy, it’s not meant to be lying fallow and gathering dust in an account.
In effect if you hoard money that you never spend, then you just take that money out of the economy, and this will make the economy poorer.
But it’s not all bad, it’s all depends on why you are saving money, and that what his first statement highlighted. If you take the ECA(Excess Crude Account) for example, it’s meant to help supplement our budget if the Price of Crude fell, as we saw in 2015. If the funds in ECA were not depleted by Jonathan, we might not have gone into recession.
From Nigeria's Osun State to Chicago, USA, via a stopover in Gary, Indiana, and back to Lagos in Nigeria, this is the story of how the bagman for a 1990's Chicago drug ring has become the President of Nigeria. This documentary is based on 'Bola Ahmed Tinubu: From Drug Lord To Presidential Candidate', a long-read investigation published on West Africa Weekly in July 2022 by independent journalist David Hundeyin
David Hundeyin has been exposed as a fraud by Oxford university on Friday.
GreenOris: The moment i saw Dino Orubebism i know we lost the election.
Tinubu has bee scheming to become president long time ago, investing in every Geo political zone and arm of governments, so they have no option but to RIG everything to his favor now, if this was a free and fare election Atiku would have been the President elect presently.
There’s no such thing as fair election.
This is Nigeria, All the parties involved Rigged in one way or another, unless you are just trying to bury your head in the sand .
Covert1: Nobody cares either. And military pictures will not bring peace. When we say for God and country it should actually mean that and if it is it doesn't matter who wins and is president but rather the process through which they emerge for legitimacy else there will never be a command of national loyalty and those fine men you are posting in uniform will end up dying in numbers unnecessarily for an avoidable insurrection and possible war.
By the way the elections haven't been won and lost. In the eyes of the law there was no election. It is illegal and unconstitutional. Even the Tinubu has not fulfilled a fundamental requirement of 25% in the FCT, Abuja.
Some of us are actually grinning not wailing.
The people in Abuja must be special citizen 😂, to have their vote count more than others.
I’ve seen some Nigerians saying INEC claims result will be transmitted through IREV.
That’s where people are making mistake, the IREV portal is just like an integrity test on INEC to ensure transparency.
What is uploaded on the IREV are just jpeg images, so that Nigerians can see their result in real time, the IREV portal is not used for collation by INEC.
INEC collation has always been.
PU—WARD—LGA—STATE—NATIONAL.
All parties have their agent stationed in every process of election collation, and their party agent must sign the FORM EC8A. Once your agent sign this form it means you agree with the result on the form.
People are not realizing that more than 500 PU election result were cancelled because of violence and non conformity of results.
GreenOris: This here is the bitter truth, although my preferred candidate Atiku (the serial loser) like his Kenya friend failed, this election is the most peaceful, and let's not give up because all the 3 big parties have there agents in all pulling units so the must have copy of the results that they will present in court. The lesson here is that if you want to win election in Nigeria build alliance with even your enemies not calling people names and expect them to vote your candidate whose only achievement is that he saved millions for his state like he was voted to be an investor.
This is the important factor, people are forgetting that all parties have agent in the polling unit, who have a copy of result of that polling unit and send to their respective situations room.
The IREV portal is just a result viewing portal for Nigerians, it’s not used for collation of result by INEC.
The PDP didn’t raise alarm of IREV when the result collation started, they only raised alarm on Tuesday when they realized that they lost the election based on feed back from their situation room.
GeneralDae: Okay let's break down your argument one by one with as much facts as we can present.
Actually a lot of those Peter Obi roads were of low quality and now washed away. I served in Anambra in 2015, it is believed that while Obi was a good Governor, Ngige had more excellent roads. Not taking anything away from Obi but building roads are basic functions of a state Governor though.
This premise lacks substance. How many teachers were employed by Obi in his tenure and what does it mean to move Anambra's education to number one?
By what data did you arrive at that conclusion? Please don't tell me he took waec results in Anambra from 26th to 1st. That's not thesame as making education in Anambra number one, and if you say that is, can you give me a breakdown of Anambra waec results after 2014?
Also, can you let me know the Anambra NECO and Jamb results of that same 2014? Finally, why did we discover over 400 WAEC miracle centres in same 2014?
If you say Obi made Anambra's education number one because he returned the schools to the missionaries? well, Tinubu was first Governor since 1999 to do that.
What does this have to do with Peter Obi?
Really?
Well Tinubu didn't build Lagos but he's done enough in my books in terms of policies to be called Father of modern Lagos. Governance is not just by physical things you built but also by game changing policies you implement.
Delusion Grandeur, imagine claiming that Anambra has the best road network in Nigeria, even the people of Anambra might stone him for making that statement.
I wonder what state like Akwa Ibom will say when Anambra is claiming best road networks
68816419: Tinubu didn't create any effective teams that eventually revolutionized Lagos and even Nigeria, so how ? 1. Who brought individuals like Rauf Aregbesola, the current interior minister, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the vice president, Femi Gbajamila, the president of the Federal House of Representatives, and Fashola, the current minister of works and home, to the table? Sincerely, I found it insulting that you compared Obi and Tinubu, 2. Who was instrumental in the creation of Lagos State transportation master plan, Lastma, Lawma ... 3. Who brought in and started the idea of Eko Atlantic reclaimation , Lekki free trade zone ...? so please name three persons who Obi trained and helped them rose to greatness.
Obi whose hallmark in Government was giving 250 wheelchairs to disabled people, and Tinubu who was instrumental in creating LASODA( Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs).
68816419: Are you talking about the same Obi who couldn't develop Anambra state to this day and even resides in Lagos? If he couldn't develop his state, how will he be able to develop Nigeria? Leadership isn't about emotions; it's about experience and assembling a solid team, and Tinubu is the only one who has done that. Obi is nothing in contrast to Tinubu, whether it be in terms of knowledge, skills, or even capacity.
As in!!!
This same Obi that has been heavily criticized by his people when he was Governor, go through this 2012 thread on nairaland and see how useless he was as a Governor.
