@Gbawe, i will suggest u give the serial thread derailers a break as you know their ultimate aim. @topic, Okupe has admitted to being a serial scam-ster, so it is understandable when our Do or Die party fanatics turn the thread into one of Alausa Vs AsoRock, Tinubu Vs Tom Dick and Harry, ACN Vs PDP, or Gbawe Vs 40 man Laptop crew in a bid to derail it. |
kasiem: at the bolded, don't u think that destructive criticisms can be a cog in the wheel of good governance? So is it bad to stop it bad to stop it by make mockery of Gbawe? And of what good will it be, if the likes of Okupe are the one to fraternise with our No. 1 man? Calling a spade, a spade, to me, is an A grade constructive criticism, as i see nothing bad in drawing the attention of the public to characters like Okupe. The bad type of criticism here will a case where Okupe has nothing to hide and is only castigated for selfish reasons. On the other hand Gbawe is just another NL member trying to bring a constructive criticism to light. |
Good governance in a developing nation like ours is definitely a great idea, and any obstacle to good governance sure deserves a mention. Okupe may be a person, but i still find it hard to decipher how some people can't see the connection here, especially when we consider Okupe's past record. Some even choose to see one party as the opposite of another, a clear sign of their obsession . . . May God help us all, Amen. Gbawe: Man mi, PointB is one of the Nairalanders very famous for slow and dull thinking. No need showing him what his dull brain missed . He is exposed here daily for being slow. I have to credit him for being vacuously resilient and thick-skinned enough to keep coming back with totally idiotic submissions in an attempt to compensate for his obvious intellectual deficit. |
Oh boy, this Topic title of yours na die oh . . . Whichever way, i am glad the guy is opening up as nobody is above mistake but failing to admit one and moving on is a greater mistake in itself. Atleast let some of his anywhere-belle-face followers should come to understand that the do or die attitude does not have to go down to followership level always. |
Biafra cannot be stopped. Call treason, i don't care . . . Long Live Biafra!!! |
I hope they aren't talking about oil well that are few metres deep i.e pipelines |
Okukpe's scandal with benue state sure isn't an idea, neither is it a person. |
I thought the focus of this thread is suppose to be Okukpe. . . But it turns out to the OP, Gbawe. |
I can see some mischevious folks here have decided to derail the thread with silly questions . . . Well , in the face of all distraction tactics employed to avoid the real question being answered, i hereby declare the brilliant Question by CyberG 'unanswarable' and therefore O'j is found guilty of gross betrayal and cowardise. . . Lol . . . I dey joke sha, but CyberG really needs this seemingly simple question answered. Make unu give am answer na . . . |
Oh, Eastwest rd VS Ore-Benin it is, as a mata of fact i don't know which is worse. Reno Omokri shld know better now . . . HABA!! . . .they both look like Cassava farm. |
Remii: i love this country, some are on internet ranting while some are already finished planing our lives 5 years ahead of us. Cabal always win, very interestingSo where is the Igbo Man in all of this? I thought they had 2015 ticket in firw grip . . . Or is it that the rest are vying to to dislodge the Igbo presidency thingy come 2015? Interesting politics i say. |
Sunday Sunday Medicine i Swear . . . Why Sundays and not Fridays? |
Argh! . . . The truth, they say, is bitter. If Igbos held their own against Nigeria, why the hell did they join Nigeria? |
sleekdot: Is Biafra not supposed to find a way of getting their own supply? Why should Nigeria be the one shouldered with allowing food into your territoryThe same way they waited for 'Yoruba' support after their attempt to wipe Yorubas out was checked. They even went as far as sending a Yorubaman to capture Yorubaland for them. I have to agree with your logic on their reasoning pattern . . . Frightening ! ! ! |
pharmow: Chukwuma Kaduna-Nzeogwu was from present day delta state former bendel state though Igbo speaking delta.i intentionally ignore his direct question as it is a known fact that delta igbos are as good their Anambran brothers. The guy probably has no clue as to who i am that's why he choose me to direct such a weak argument at. |
More on the full gist? I laugh in beer parlour gist over telephone swag . . . We shld allow sleeping dawgs lie . . . I believe the real mature igbos av long learnt their lessons. All these twisting of facts and name calling is not really necessary. |
cosmatika: U re d most stupid prsn I'v eva seen. So U knw JEG is not an Igbo man but U dont knw dat Kaduna Nzeogwu is also now an Igbo man? Go and ask ur history teacher if atall u attended any skl, wia Nzeogwu hails frm. IjiotNzeogwu How mata take reach that side now bros? Igbos were caught in their own sh!t, Period!!!Them same people u snakes decieved into union Nigeria and later tried to wipe out in '66 are really suppose to be your allies to the extent that you choose to call them traitors decades after . . . I laff in harsh reality bros. If igbos aren't snakes why is every political entity avoiding ur sorry arses since '67 ? Why is the Igbo Nation the only one pitching their blind support for GEJ? Even when he does not give a damn! about you or your 2015 ambition? We all know who the slave and master is in Nigeria. |
N200 mil? That's small na . . In a sch where certificates are bought. . . The man shld come up with the cash joor. |
No big surprise !!! |
gbadexy: So sad about the teenagers. Most folks here eating mom and dad's food know nada, the real village and rugged Folks in the 'community where the whole raping/killing happened, or more appropriately put, has been happening, can't do nada cos they know what they saw . . . . Oh sorry . . . what they 've been seeing. |
moderatorr: igbos dont protest.u mean no hit and run like '66/67 saga when u sons hit by staging a coup only to run when the consequencies of the actions faced them . . . Lol . . . Common stop kidding. |
Most of those defending the community attacked should stop that nonsense. We all know they aren't going to do nada . . . just some ignorant e-chest beating from some foolz who likely joined hands in calling the whole Yorubas cowards anytime the Fulanis attack a community in the West. Now that a SE community has been attacked, it is only normal they call you guys 'Cowards' in return. |
The country is not divided yet and we are already withnesing mad politic of 'who goes with the oil regions'. I forsee another struggle on ND/SE region in the event of a breakup like the OP dipicted. |
Just yesterday we heard of cult attack in Enugu and now we have this news coming in. |
Obiagu1: The wealth from the Protectorate of Southern Nigeria (SE/SS) was used to develop Lagos. Before that 1906 amalgamation, Colony of Lagos was not viable and had to be attached to Ghana for survival. There was no known company, like Royal Niger Company, operating in the Colony. The only known source, slavery, ended in 1861. You guys were busy fighting wars and there was no known commercial activity going on.The fact that there is no cocoa commision or a company formed around cocoa does not make the old western region overall beneficiaries. Like another poster rightly replied you. The west, as a matter of fact, are overall givers in union Nigeria. Also don't forget 'Tin', Tin was so lucrative to the whites, they built rail tracks for it, one that transcends Zaria through the whole of western region. |
Are we sure this man has not finalized some plan for Mr. Presido already? This one wen im dey distance imself from BH make eferybodi dey hear so. . . |
? ? ? |
^^^ As said by the OP Obiagu1: It was Sir Walter Egerton that started using the resources of the Protectorate of Southern Nigeria to develop Yoruba land after he moved the capital from Calabar to Lagos in the same year. |
Are you sure you really know the source of the wealth of the colonialist ?
that's what the OP is claiming now. |
If it is true the wealth of the present ND and SE was used to develope the West, why did they still choose to go with Nigeria? |
lagcity: Ibos have their own weird logic, so you can never get an answer. Ibos are the real traitors, they started the killing of Hausa and Yoruba in Nigeria, including unarmed pregnant woman. They are cursed.unarmed Pregnant women too! ! ! What for? If not for greed. . . the same people who lured others into their so called cease-pit, Nigeria. |
Lol @ the inverted and skewed logic. . . Good attempt though, atleast by ur standard but still falls short. . . |
