As far as i am concerned, all men irrespective of their races, are equal. GEJ messed up big time with those statements, he did not need to sell the ''we against them'' mentality to the black race to make sense. |
Boko haram criticizing Obama is secondary, what bothers Nigerians most is the threat to their security this deadly group has established under a seamingly weak government, all thanks to another even deadlier group of political terrorist 'attached' to our weak number one man. |
PointB: @Op,if the picture you endorsed over the OP's own first appeared on NL last year, then it goes to show that the blame should go the the past govt of the state. It also proves that developement in any region is not by the president being a son of that region as speculated by our so called ''marginalized'' regions. What i will rather blame the current administration for, is planning to construct an air-conditioned overhead bridge when schools like these are still in Ogun state. Most negative comments here are targetted at the ACN govt of the state. |
So can we conclude that GEJ's contribution to our emancipation is his replacement of flour foreign with cassava in our 'Daily' bread? |
Kobojunkie: If you see nothing wrong with the original statement, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with the statement below. . . .U See what i mean when i criticize some NLders for rejecting Constructive criticism on anything that has to do with GEJ and his govt. The same folks who percieved similar comment from a northerner as racist have suddenly made a 180 degree turn in their understanding of what they now percieve as a racist comment. |
We the people of the western Niger hereby wish you and your people well. Long live Ogoniland
'We the western people hereby' do what? Or u mean ''Musiwa'' is the plural form for representing all the Becomrich multiple identities? |
Again the big question in my mind is, can any 28 or 29 yr old hit such a jackpot without bullying their way through with influential people? The Son of Tukur in question most probably benefited from the subsidy fraud because of who his father is in Nigeria today and he will likely be beating any case thrown at him for same reason. Bamanga Tukur should resign or atleast stepdown Temporarily from his PDP position to allow justice prevail. |
Assurance!!! |
OP u didn't state ur area for other NL who also live there to testify. This thread looks like a scam to me. |
Bros OP, it takes some serious level of cluelessness to be led astray. |
@Topic, If PDP has been Boko Haram and Boko Haram has been PDP all along, Why can't PDP join hand with real progressives to impeach a slow presido? Or are these south south folks going to blackmail their way through it like Subsidy Struggle in January? I watch with amazement how folks here forcefully re-brand a misfiring government. Look guys, there is no amount of art work or branding on an empty tin of Milk that will make it better and preferable to one with content. U can make sweet claims here, in the end the average Nigerian still feel what they feel, Hardship. |
^^^^The big question running through my mind right now is, can a average 28 or 29 years old who is not related to someone like Bamanga Tukur hit that kinda jackpot? Can Oshiomole's or Fashola's or even one ordinary PDP governor's son do same? |
Abuja -The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has asked the Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, to step down immediately following his son’s indictment in the fuel subsidy scam. |
PDP and Gej Follow follow folks (3Fs) have once again demonstrated how attacking anything that poses a threat to their ultimate interest in Nl politics section is their best form of blind defence of that goal. One day ACN will be the cause of World War I and II. |
dedeike: Let's press rewind.Highlighted are some of the lies and blind support for anything GEJ we have seen a thousand time in this forum. |
Re-construction of Benin-Ore-Shagamu highway covering over 265 km ? . . . . . Buhahahahahahahahahahahahahaha . . . . . When them chase us comot here with lie we go see who them wan lie to again. . . . Lol |
A ND group that once supported blindly is now subtly criticizing 'our son'. Good to hear. |
Beaf: How bro? Does ACN own Bicourtney Limited? Any paranoia is misplaced.. . . and it has to be ACN ruled state, especially with the way the topic is framed. |
FG to take over . . . If i may ask from who exactly? To the best of my knowledge roads linking state capitals are Federal road. I think the this a cheap attempt to rubbish ACN dominated state government. |
Kobojunkie: I have a question . . . since everyone in here are supposed to be adults. Why are you, or anyone, trying to tell em how they can criticize CORRECTLY? I believe in freedom of expression. If all you know is to cricitize out of hate, go for it, and accept the consequences. If you believe in arse-licking, go for it but don't complain when someone tags you an imbe-cile for that.I am not trying to tell anyone how they are suppose to criticize or should criticize here. I only talked about those defending Gej and his govt blindly as well folks attacking anyone who tries to criticize him 'constructively'. Any follower of politics section of Nairaland will quickly observe there are lots of people who defend GEJ blindly and attack those they percieve as 'threat' to GEJ's political ambition or even those who try to criticize him 'constructively'. I am not trying to say there is not even a single GEJ hater. . . . but there are so many people who criticize him constructively. I personally believe there is nothing wrong in giving GEJ a boost by supporting him. . . but azz licking GEJ and his Govt at all cost isn't right. |
jmaine: How can we define criticising constructively (sic) , without applauding constructively ? . . . .By "criticizing GEJ constructively", i mean pointing out what is actually wrong as a 'wrong' with the hope of getting a positive change that will benefit all. When i use the word criticism it does not have to be one that comes outa of hate. U can criticize a kid for cramming something like a passage when u you know he is suppose to understand and digest the passage in case he has to draw new conclusion from the fact in the passage, that does not mean you hate the kid. In short, u can criticise a person as a form of correction. It does not have to be outa hate . . . |
The main misunderstanding here is from the OP, the is a big difference between supporting Gej and Defending Gej, in fact most of his supporters defend him blindly 99% of the time. There is nothing bad in supporting a kid that is performing badly in his or her career neither is it wrong to defend him or her if a genuine and valid excuse exist. In the case of GEJ here, his supporters defend him with non-existing or invalid excuses or better yet attack anyone who tries to criticise GEJ constructively. |
How are we sure the OP is a Yoruba or Southerner or even has anything in common with the Yorubas for him to pop up with the username YorubaNation and start a thread like this? As far as i am concerned, the real ''Yoruba Nation'' never wanted to be part of any other nation, they were lured into one through regional government arrangement. An arrangement we probably all know how the story went. |
And you still wonder why non of them want a sovereign national conference ? Abi you wan come put sand for their garri?.....you wan scatter their hustle? Nigeria is one massive scam (right from the late 60's to date), and if you're not in gov't; are not close to the corridors of power; have not been in gov't in the past to take your own cut; if you're not a gov't contractor or rent-seeker; if you're not a top civil servant; if you don't have a close relative that is in or has been near gov't in anyway; if non of the aforementioned applies to you, then there's a high probability that you're well and trully fuc/ked!!! Thieving greedy scum, the lot of them.
One big scam from inception you say, So who are the Scammers? one thing i know is westerners never agitated for Nigeria. They couldn't have been the ones targeting anybody's resources from pre independence. Most of our leaders guilty though. |
Why not let us ban Phones as corrupt citizens us it to get to our leaders when seeking for undue favours, or because criminals use it for crimes. As long as internet access CPEs are registered in Nigeria, anything David Mark is saying here can be applied to Phones as Sim Cards are registered as well. The way i see this whole thing: Reno Omokri and his 40 the men crew are losing too many battles of Re-Branding our Presido and simply can't stand smarter folks anymore. They are the ones suggesting this idea to some powerful figures. I wonder what David Mark expects the citizen to do when the presido himself and opposition haul insults at themselves openly . . . |
OP, i will suggest u go for a system whose configuration best mirrors the kind of computer that will be running your programs. A web developer and programmer like Seun(Nairaland)may want to go for systems with high RAM and Processor capacity because he knows his programs will likely be hosted on dedicated servers with similar or even higher configuration, on the other hand a mobile app developer may opt for an Acer Mini whose power almost mirrors that of some handheld devices. However if you will be developing programs with a wide range of deployment environment (anything from Pentiun II systems to very fast multi-processor systems)then you can go for the one with highest configuration within the reach of ur buying power and depend on things like Emulator or performance tuning utilities to simulate low end devices. u never can tell, u may need to install large database or perform processor intensive tasks in the process your programming projects. As for screen size, a screen with a good resolution should do, i personally don't pay too much attention large screen with low resolution. Also don't forget, Mini laptops that can go 12Hrs plus without recharging exist, whereas with high configuration laptops it hard to achieve that kind of power sustenance. U shld know how reliable our power system in Nigeria is. |

chucky234: Never knew this guy will become this big,he was once of those normal guys in my neighbourhood in Festac back then and I used to form bigger boy before them with one of my aunt's sweet car given to her by Julius Berger.Guy stop the delusion, 2face like most superstar and popular figure associated with FESTAC only became FESTAC residents after they made significant leap in their careers. Jay-Jay Okocha, Blacface, and Sunday Oliseh are some other superstar who now have houses in FESTAC.Tell us say u don see am couple of times for FESTAC. |
Good for The Igbos |
berem: me sef confuse walahi! But all the same, thumbs up to the taxi driver.at least we still have innocent nigerians.but if na me eh....I will rather call him Principled, Honest and Disciplined. There are few people who practise what they think they beleive in |
Gbawe: Will some of you stop acting as if you don't have a brain? It is not being pro or anti GEJ that is the crux of the matter. Issues are about the multitudes of NL ID's that joined in June/July (a 'trying' phase for the Presidency)with Robotic contribution limited entirely to swallowing GEJ's vomit while automatically attacking those perceived his enemies. You can fool yourself if you want. How many GEJ critics joined NL in June/July for us to see literally hundreds of Pro-GEJ ID's joining at the same time, all devoted to the same talk and scope of interest? That's a strong arguement against the 40 man Laptop crew. |
