My freshman year was @ University of Botswana and it sucked so bad, it's #23 on the list, can't imagine how bad the other varsities are then. |
hackney:Exactly!! |
naijatoday:Also wondering about that. riversman:Tell me about it, Dubai ??Nways, I'm happy for them, which gal doesn't want a dude who'd spoil her rotten. |

^ ^ Sad doesn't even remotely describe some people on Nairaland ![]() |
Dolemite:Spot on. |
@Tpia: Truth is I actually want to get to know her well and I don't see her as anything except who she is, okay, maybe I think she is the most beautiful and amazing person in the world but I'm sure it's not infatuation. I don't really expect much from anyone. I just let people be who they are and try to find a way to fit everything together. That's kinda my way, ANYBODY GOT A SECRET TO FORGETTING? , WISH I HAD AMNESIA RIGHT NOW. WISH I COULD SEE HER FACE,
Hi dark, So what do you think it is then, love? Speaking from personal experience here, I became friends with a guy and a couple of weeks into our friendship, he used the L word. You can imagine, I had a WTF moment and told him NO. Our friendship hasn't been the same since then. I don't how close you two are, but I think it's quite unsettling for a girl to hear the words I LOVE YOU from a person she barely knows. If she doesn't love you back, or sees you strictly as a friend, then you're relationship as friends could be marred forever. I bet you'd rather have her in your life as a friend, than not having her at all. Here's what I think you should do. You don't have to forget about her, if it's really love you feel in your heart for her, well then, LOVE IS PATIENT - WAIT!!! Get to know her better, let's hope she is really as amazing as you said. When the time is right, and you're friendship has reached a certain level, you'll probably be really nervous, but you should feel more comfortable telling her how you feel. She on the other hand will feel more comfortable hearing this, especially if she knows that you're a pretty decent guy. Telling her how you feel right now is quite premature, it could look like you're merely infatuated, which could be the case if I may add. Hope I'm making sense here. |
Sexy video. But dang, she's gained quite a bit of weight. |
riversman:Seriously?!! I'm pretty sure she was @ NY fashion week. |
Don't have a favourite, there's only one thing I'm not really a fan of, although people around me tell me not to bother about it. Other that that, I pretty much rock, if I may say so myself ![]() |
Nope, unless I was paid to do so, which is almost impossible ![]() |
utd rules. |
eldee:I agree with that. Don't know why but I found it rather disturbing. The remake is good, obviously can't be compared to the first, but it was brilliant. I have to add though that I was shocked to hear Lil Wayne "singing", was more shocked to hear autotune and was quite worried about the whole rap thing. But, I think that reflected the world we live in today, and added some variety to the song. What on earth was Wyclef up to, gosh!!! Emotional or not, it was funny. Michael Jackson's part was AMAZING - words can't describe. Wasn't a fan of MJ, but seeing him in there with Janet made me sad that he's gone all over again ![]() |
lalaboi:That's a really awesome song, the dude can sing. chika98:Yes, everyone did quite good as well. |
Wayne Rooney!!!! |
This ought to be a headline lol. The chic looks so happy to be on camera, ![]() "I guess it's a mental thing", very catchy statement. |

Mo'Chedda ft. Othello - If You Want Me. |
Awesome song, Lil Wayne was good, but Eminem killed it, that was really amazing. |
Disclaimer: This post is simply for sarcasm purpose. If you miscrue ma mix of humor and sarcasm for anything else na you know Yahoo-Yahoo is Nigeria's gift to the world Iraq gave us bombers Peru gave us china-white (heroin) Colombia gave us cocaine Jamaica gave us ganja The Germans gave us beer In other words we all have our vices Crime rate has reduced to an extent in a lot of areas due to yahoo i dunno if y'all have noticed but i would give an example. Ma neighbourhoods in the late 90's early Two thou's was like Compton where a gunshot was like your doorbell that has kinda reduced since yahoo boiz came to town In a nutshell Nigeria's problems are bigger than Yahoo and while Yahoo is not the way, We as a Nation have to solve those underlying problems first or else Yahoo would not die it would only multiply Ma take on the song goes thus: This tune is like a condom jingle! People wey go $hag raw go $hag raw. The thing is these Microsoft peeps did not do their research at all judging by the artistes they picked. Sometimes its not about the message its about the messenger! M.I, Banky W, Modele, Omawumi. These are more or less ajebo or omo mummy artistes your average runz boy/street hustler cannot relate with these fellas! Why could they not pick say a 2face, Pasuma, Obesere, Eedris, Dbanj, P-square e.t.c yeah i know some names there are ridiculous abi? But then again its not always about the message its about the messenger
That's funny .@ B.L.I.N.G: thanks for the lyrics. Just listened to it, it's not a bad song, quite nice actually. Happy to see Modele, loved 'Adara'. |
