LiteratureRe: Chimamanda Adichie & Husband Ivara Esege (photos) by shilling(f): 3:37am On Sep 25, 2013
The fact that British colonialists coined the term doesn't make it acceptable for a Nigerian to use it to address a Brit.

dasparrow: Most Nigerians are not aware of this. After all, the word 'half caste' was imported into Nigeria with the English language by none other than the Brits themselves. If that was me that the Brit woman had tried to run her mouth at, I would have given her a piece of my mind. Did Nigerians or indeed black people sit down one fine morning and start making up racial slurs? nope they did not. It was Caucasians/white people who sadly did. Nigerians are generally not into racial slurs - many 'worship' people with pale skin - because Nigeria is an all-black nation and we are too busy trying to cope/solve our myriads of problems than sitting there and intentionally and spitefully calling biracial folks derogatory terms. The British woman should go and talk to her racist British people who cloned the word 'half caste' and imported it into Nigeria!

The husband ain't complaining so why are you trying to take panadol for another man's headache? You think it is every man out there that subscribes to the idea of treating women like slaves or glorified housemates? Just because it is done that way in 3rd world Africa does not mean people in advanced nations prescribe to that crap.

Yes! Likes attract. Two intelligent people coming together to build a life together. She is smart to have married someone who is bred overseas and hence would appreciate her as a lady.

@Post

Cute couple. They look really good together. May God continue to bless their marriage.
Foreign AffairsRe: Inside El-Salvador's 'Prison Pits' by shilling(f): 1:19am On Sep 01, 2013
Huge generalization if you're not just referring to LA. Like the article implies, the MS13 has ruined the lives of millions of Salvadorians for decades.

pDude: That documentary is old bruv. Mara salvatrucha aka MS13 don't rule shyt. Here in LA and San Fernando valley which used to be their turf, the LAPD has flushed them all out. They have all either been deported or languishing in San Quentin Correctional facility.

I ain't seen any MS13 gangs except the nice, polite Latino guys with arms and body covered with gang tattoos who occassionally come to carry out repairs in my apartment or other apartments in the building grin grin

LAPD isn't about that shyt. They catch you doing gang shyt, you receive 20 bullets. They taze or beat you down when they are being nice grin

CelebritiesRe: 'Oprah Lied" - Salesgirl Accused Of Racist Comment by shilling(f): 8:46am On Aug 14, 2013
I'm guessing there is no racism in this "present" you speak of.

NSNA: African Americans seem to take it to seriously when it comes to racism

If you are looking for it you will find it.

Live in the present!

Very interesting post, and definitely one worth discussing. I got into blogging because I needed an avenue to share my thoughts (sort of anonymously). I also love to write and have a brother who is a web designer.

CrimeRe: Cynthia Osokogu Was Chained & Strangled To Death by shilling(f): 10:33am On Jun 22, 2013
How does a grown woman owning a sexx toy automatically equate to consent? There are many reasons women carry those in their purses.

funshint: There's more to dis case than we know. With d items listed above e.g the love machine(vibrat*r dild), chain...it looks like a "consensual" violent sex gone wrong. #MyThought

Science/TechnologyRe: Girl Who Spent Her First Years In The Jungle by shilling(f): 3:54am On Jun 08, 2013
Look, it's a "special" little white girl who grew up in Africa, just like millions of other little girls on the continent.

Caracta: Awwww. Such an adorable little jungle princess. I'm surprised they had camera in all those places and took perfect pictures...like a photo shoot grin
Cos she traveled around Africa with her parents who are photographers.

I'd personally be more concerned about spoken English rather than written. Ask her to work on her grammar and review her text messages/emails before sending them so she catches spelling/grammar errors. The OP sounds like a grammar nazi lol

FashionRe: Help Me Re- Invent My Style by shilling(f): 2:53pm On May 08, 2013
Good advice. Also, look up lookbook.nu

LoveAmaka88: It would probably be easiest for you to pick three or four different celebs who have a style or persona you'd like to copy. You don't need to be an exact copy or spend that kind of money, but you can use the looks as a general guide. No one can tell you how to dress, but it'll give you a guide of the type of this to shop for: blazers, sunglasses, jeans, dress shirts, slacks...

I know nothing about your height, body type, skin color, or hair texture so this is just a general suggestion. I also don't know your age, but certain styles are ageless.

These days it's about well fitting clothes made of quality material. It's not necessary to be flashy in order to get attention. Baggy clothes are complete out. Though skinny jeans are supposed to be in, you probably shouldn't wear those either. Since you say you are a geek, stick to being subtle and classy. Don't try to go extreme because it won't fit your personality.

FashionRe: What Is Your Favorite Online Store?? by shilling(f): 2:36pm On May 08, 2013
Too many to mention but probably Forever21, Urban Outfitters, Zara, Runway Bandits and ebay.

Although F21 increased the price of shipping, they're probably still the fastest out there. Stuff gets to me in a day (shipped by Purolator), not even kidding.
