RomanceRe: overated!! NEXT!! by shilling(f): 10:49pm On Jan 25, 2010
You could have lots in common, but you haven't discovered it yet. I have a friend who was really quiet when I first met him, but all it took was talking about something we both love talking about, you could try doing that, talk about something (not food, church). Give the guy a chance, after a couple of weeks or something like that, if he still hasn't opened up, then I agree, no chemistry, let him go.

FashionHow To Remove Pimples In Photos Using Photoshop by shilling(op): 3:50am On Jan 24, 2010
Don't know if this is the appropriate place to paste this, but there's no beauty section so what the heck.

We probably all want nice looking flawless photos, Photoshop does this for you.

Cool, okay.
FashionRe: ~ Favourite New Buys . . What's Yours ? ~ by shilling(f): 9:18am On Jan 23, 2010
Okay, but most reviews I read said it was a really awesome product, as long as you don't overuse it cos it has quite a strong smell.
FashionRe: ~ Favourite New Buys . . What's Yours ? ~ by shilling(f): 6:04am On Jan 23, 2010
Love the sweater with the hoodie, saw it online and nearly bought it,  trying to be frugal  grin

How's the Miss Dior perfume? Seen great reviews, but a couple of people say the smell doesn't linger that long.

FamilyRe: Would You Add Your Parents In Your Facebook Friends List? by shilling(f): 5:32am On Jan 23, 2010
My mum & I are friends on FB. I tried delaying it for a while, but eventually accepted her request. She monitors me quite a lot, I can tell. She's doesn't comment on my posts or write on my wall, but she sends me msgs and gives me advice which is quite cool.

The only disadvantage is that I feel bad for her, cos you know how it is on FB, you upload "crazy" pictures, or pple tag you, and it looks crazy to her, but it's normal to me and my friends, but she starts to worry. "Hope you're not going overboard, hope you have a timetable, hope you're not too busy, hope you're attending fellowship", etc.

But, it's not that bad.

FamilyRe: Can Children Be Mentored By Absentee Dads? by shilling(f): 7:01am On Jan 22, 2010
I have a friend who's dad was away most of the time cos he was a doctor and went to work all over the world. Growing up, his dad wasn't his mentor, his eldest brother and other family members assumed that responsibility. Can't really say how he's turned out, but he seems okay from the outside, although he admits he may have been scarred psychologically.

I guess it's possible for an absentee dad to be a mentor, but it's really difficult and very rare.
