LiteratureRe: Tortured Innocence: A Poem ( Please Critique) by shilling(f): 7:57am On Feb 02, 2010
I've only written 3 poems in my life, yes I'm an amateur grin. I'll say it's a really nice poem.

I agree with vescucci, make it more graphic. I can see your poem in my mind, but making this image a little more vivid wouldn't hurt.

GOOD JOB!!!

FashionRe: If You Got Beautiful Skin Please Share Your Routine Here by shilling(f): 7:50am On Feb 02, 2010
My skin routine isn't anything fancy. I always, well usually take off all my makeup before going to bed, using a regular facial soap. Then I exfoliate and moisturize.

for some reasons neutrogena tone correcting serum seemed to work at first and made me like 5 shades darker i am lost!
I know what you mean, Palmer's Skin Success did that to me. I didn't get darker, but my mum noticed a little patch of discoloration on my face and suggested I stop using it. I guess it'd have been worse if I used it longer.
browncocos:
nlanders pls gimme a list of nice perfumes
I'm using Faith Hill right now, and I like it. It's mild and lingers.

this right here, mary kay hand set is a blatant money waster, it cost me £45 and its all hands product, all this to get a  scrawny ashy old hands angry
You should try the Neutrogena Norwegian formula hand cream, it's good.

semid4lyfe:
Funny thing is the damatol cost me just N80 then while the yeye head & shoulders anti-dandruff shampoo cost me a few hundred bucks.
Lesson learnt- some of these oyinbo products na just hype and ain't always the best, lol.
Sooooo true!!

Pittbaby:
I concur on the mary Kay comment, Add Proactiv  to my list to harsh for sensitive skin and Maybelline Foundation, forget the acne i got after a few weeks of use, still trying to clear up the spots one year later . Neutrogena for life
I'm guessing if you have sensitive skin, you wouldn't want to.

You don't have to, but it would be nice to.

I'd probably do a tango or something like that, after countless dance lessons of course, Who remembers that awesome scene with Al Pacino (Scent Of A Woman)?

Gosh where do I  begin? grin grin

1.Mary kay products- Stay away from this product if you want to avoid cystic acne
2.Clean and clear black head scrub- Some of the beads from the wash remain in the facial pores for days and exacerbate the problem
3.Maybelline Great lash mascara- Its just black colour for the eyes, provides no length or thickness whatsoever
4.Most Drugstore mascaras- They are usually crap
That ought to have made it to my list. That's what I've noticed about it, but I'm still using it atm cos I don't really need lengthening, more volume never hurts. But, what I really hate is that it clumps soooo easily. I've been busy but I'm soon starting my quest for that amazing mascara.

I agree with that, it doesn't look perfectly natural, but better than her original eyebrows.
CelebritiesRe: Whats Up With Agbani Darego? by shilling(f): 11:05am On Jan 31, 2010
I believe she's still with Ford. Isn't she just around 27/28? I believe 27 yr old models still have clients. Besides, ugly broke skinny girls also get married.

FoodRe: What Food Do You Never Get Tired Of Eating by shilling(f): 6:17am On Jan 31, 2010
Don't eat plantain really often but I love it sooooooo much.

I also love rice, any form of rice - can't get tired of it.
FoodRe: What Can One Eat To Get White Eyes by shilling(f): 6:16am On Jan 31, 2010
I eat loads of tomatoes, cocumber and apples. A lil bit of brocolli, which I hate. I know I have to, at least 5 colors in my meal.

It also helps to use a lil bit of white eyeliner, on your eyes - don't make it too noticeable. I usually do this when I've been studying at night, and didn't get much sleep. Makes your eyes look bright, on a regular day, it gives your eye a unique "pop".

It also helps to get enough sleep at night, cultivate a regular sleep pattern, even at weekends. I suck at this though.

FoodRe: How To Save Money On Food! by shilling(f): 6:11am On Jan 31, 2010
Epi:
not necessarily.  You can still eat the bread days after the expiration date, once it's good.  The expiration date is for the grocery to get rid of it.  We have eggs in the refrigerator 2 weeks after the expiration date and using them. The jug milk, I'll go 2 days after the expiration once it's good.  The only thing I don't play around with, is can stuff (I respect the expiration date)
I agree with you, I usually go 2 days after the expiration date for most pastries.

iice:
yeah storing bread in the freezer saves one more.

Yep. But, you have to have a microwave unless you dont mind eating cold bread (stating the obvious).

OMO IBO:
@ topic,
Do not go to the grocery store hungry.
You are very likely to buy things you do not need.
Soooo true.

I think shopping with a purpose really helps. Make a list, stick to it. When I go to a store, esp Walmart with tons of food, I don't go wondering around the food section, if I don't have a list with things I need to buy, I get what I came for and head out. It goes without saying, that you'll find stuff you'll want to buy, that you probably don't need to.
