MRbrownJAY:Me too. |
Rooneyboy:Same here!! |
My Ghanaian friend told me she was like that back in Ghana. I found it weird, but she isn't a flirt or anything, so I guess there isn't anything wrong with that. Although, along the line, her parents started to worry, a bit. Over here, she has more female friends, and she says the transition was quite weird in the beginning, but now, she's okay with it. To sum it up, it's no big deal. |
snazzydawn:Heard she's now married and living in Germany. Can't find the link anywhere though. But, she still looks quite good, I think she should eat some cheddar cheese or something. But, I'm happy to know she's still modelling. @ the Spring/Summer 2010:Elie Tahari - late '09.

ftmom:Really? Wouldn't ever think of that. With pancakes, I use a teeny-tiny dab of syrup and tons of strawberry jam (smucker's to be precise). |
Boring: ![]() |
I'm not quite sure how I'd react cos it's never happened. But, I'm guessing I'll be disgusted at first, and flattered when I'm all alone and thinking about it ![]() |
That's quite good. I don't do anything to my brows, but I keep 'em in shape with a razor. Strange confession - I've never used tweezers in my life lol. But, I hear the Too Faced Brow Envy Brow Shaping and Defining Kit is really good, it's quite expensive though, abt 35bucks. |
Kim Kardashian Eau de Parfum Spray: Thankfully, I didn't have to go through the trauma of buying this awful product and wasting my money going back to the store to return it. I got a couple of free samples at Sephora and this was one of them. Oh my gosh, the smell is really awful. I couldn't stand my scent (smell), and I felt nothing but pity for the people sitting next to me @ church. I can't describe how it smells, apart from the fact that it smells really strong, cheap & old. Reminds me of the wierd smelling stuff that is advertised on the roadside in Naija markets, it's really awful. I love KK and I find it really strange that she would have a perfume that smells this horrible.

Don't know if this has been done before. But, I'm really curious. What are the products you've bought and thought, "gosh, I really wasted my money.", or products you've bought that made you breakout, or didn't blend well, or something, you know what I mean, right? People, don't be offended if a product you really love makes it here, it's not about you, we are all different, it makes us unique. What works for you may not work for me, you know how it is. I'll start this off with some of mine. I bought these & returned them: -Maybelline NY Mineral Powder concealer: It didn't conceal anything., too cakey for my liking. -L'Oreal True Match Powder: The reviews of this product were quite good, I really wanted to love it, but I DIDN'T. Don't know why, but it didn't do it for me. Really love how it looks though. -Love My Nails Nail Color: Looked fake, unoriginal & cheap to me. I bought, hated, but didn't return it: -L'Oreal Touch-On color: This can be used on your lips, cheeks, and eyes. I didn't love it, but I didn't take it back to the store. It'll prob come in handy one day (I hope).

This is funnyish. I'm guessing women have become more vain over the years, and need to carry more "stuff" along with them. I also a huge fan of oversize bags, I occasionally use a small one on Sundays to church, but it's really not convenient. Why use a tiny bag, when you could have a large one and take with you all you'll need for the day and more? |
Great job!! |
Yeah, they are quite nice. No idea, sorry. |
I guess so, it looks like her (almost). I'm guessing that's what she'd look like without makeup. She looks starved. Found this link to a video on another thread, she looks quite similar to that photo: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&VideoID=15738904 @ Spring/Summer 2010 {Elie Tahari} - Sept 2009

Products I'm currently using: -Secret Conditioning Solid antiperspirant. 4.5 stars: Great smell, keeps your underarms dry all day. It unfortunately leaves a lil patch of white on your underarms, so you wouldn't want to use this if you'll be exposing them. -L'Oreal Loreal Linda Evangelista lipstick 809 Beige. 4.5 stars: Feels really good on my lips, awesome colour. Isn't long-lasting. -Neutrogena Norwegian formula hand cream. 5 stars: Fragrance free, you literally feel your hands getting softer immediately you dab it on. -Seche French Manicure Kit 5 stars -CoverGirl TRUblend Microminerals Foundation 4 stars: It's not my regular foundation cos it doesn't provide much coverage. But, I use this when I barely wearing any makeup and I don't want my face looking too oily. I use it more like a powder. -Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer 5 stars -Maybelline NY Express Finish Nail Color 5 stars: Looks really natural, extremely easy to apply. I've read some reviews and some people say it chips quickly, I haven't experienced this so I guess it depends on how you apply it. http://www.maybelline.com/mca/101-articles/Nail_101.aspx -Maybelline Express Finish Clear Base Coat -Clinique Clarifying Lotion 5 stars: Use this to exfoliate after taking my makeup off. IT IS AMAZING. Feels great, doesn't leave your skin feeling dry and weird. -Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel 5 stars: I use this after the clarifying lotion. It absorbs really quickly, no oily residual feeling. -Clinique Perfectly Real™ Makeup (Foundation) 4 stars: This is my favourite foundation. I hardly ever use concealer, and it doesn't provide amazing coverage. I usually don't have much to cover, but when the once-a-month zit appears, I'm left hanging. But, I still love it cos it looks really natural, gives my skin a glow (although it's not really noticeable). Use the powder to finish it off. -Clinique Foundation Brush & Clinique Powder brush 5 stars: Natural fibre bristles, antibacterial technology (whatever!!), leaves my skin flawless. It is quite an investment, but it is worth every cent. |
yjay:True. For coverage, use Black Radiance products - esp their concealer & powder. |
spikedcylinder:Yep!! |
Nneka - Beautiful. |
SEFAGO:Yes (duh!!) ![]() |
Saw the trailer on FB, great stuff.
its a great movie. Omotola and Genevieve performed excellently well. They were quite outstanding and should get multiple awards for their performance.
True. spikedcylinder:Same here. riversman:Dude, you seriously need to BACK OFF!! |
I'm in ND, don't live in Fargo though. |
Twitter, Facebook esp Cafe world & Sorority Life. |
Cucumber, concealer + foundation !! |
That's really funny. Don't know where/how she grew up, I know she's originally from Abonemma, which is my dad's hometown, I've never been there, but it's still my hometown ![]() Apparently, this is what she looked like the last time she was seen.

That really sucks, so happy that I didn't watch it. Hope SE's perform better in SA. |
I can't stand Ellen Degeneres.
Me neither, but I think it'll be fun having she and Simon on Idol though. |
@ ugo_2u You honestly sound like a girl. Yep, it's now personal, I'm sure he didn't mean it to be. You simply got what you asked for, no need to hate on the dude. |
Seriously??!! Let ugo_2u speak for himself. Real masters lol - the dude is 20 and is doing amazing stuff. |
