These primary school pupils were seen using charcoal to change the colour of a plank to black in order to use it to teach one another Mathematics.
At home, the pupils lacked befitting blackboard or whiteboard that the oldest among them could use to teach her younger ones Mathematics.
This made them resort to using charcoal to colour the planks, in order to make the planks look like blackboard.
One could see that these children have the zeal to learn, because they really took their time to make the planks become black in colour.

Thank you for this video. He charged at the police force. They didn't just start to shoot him.
While they should have shot only once in a bid to not kill him, this news is going viral because it is in a developed country. Nigerian police kill Nigerians everyday and no one is allowed to video anything.
In Nigeria, the police do not need you to hold a walking stick or charge to kill you. Having a laptop or iphone is enough to get a Nigerian police officer to kill anyone.

Calgary's Sudanese community is in mourning today after Calgary police shot and killed a Black man identified by community members as Latjor Tuel.

Laying flowers close to the scene of the shooting near the area of 45th Street and 17th Avenue S.E. on Sunday afternoon, community members shared stories of Tuel.

"We are saddened and heartbroken at the incident that happened yesterday," said Khor Top, president of the South Sudanese Community of Calgary. "We are here to mourn and to show the support for Latjor and the family."

Members at the gathering remembered Tuel as a gentle and kind person who was a former child soldier from South Sudan.

They said he suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of that experience, along with other mental health issues.

On Saturday, Calgary police said they had been called to the area shortly after 3:40 p.m. after hearing reports of a man believed to be in possession of weapons.

Police said witnesses reported the man had assaulted a bystander and threatened others and alleged that the "man's actions led to officers discharging their service weapons."

"Life-saving efforts were attempted, however, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene," police said in a release issued Saturday.

The incident is now being investigated by Alberta's policing watchdog, the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT).

Police said that while the incident remains under investigation, no further information will be released.

The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team says Latjor Tuel was wielding a stick and a knife before charging at officers and a police dog.

In less than 30 minutes after the arrival of police Saturday, a video of the shooting shared online showed Tuel, who was 41, lying motionless on the ground.

Friends and family of Tuel, a Black man born in South Sudan, say he was mentally distressed, and they’ve drawn attention to systemic racism while criticizing police for what they consider an excessive use of force.

Calgary police Chief Mark Neufeld says police officers responded rather than mental-health workers, because reports said Tuel had assaulted someone in the community.

Neufeld says officers attempted a peaceful resolution for a “significant period of time,” but Tuel refused to surrender his weapons and the situation turned deadly.

“As long as the person is in possession of weapons, and there isn’t a productive dialogue that can actually lead toward the person relinquishing those, that’s a very significant crisis situation,” Neufeld said Tuesday at a media conference.

There is something called "Canadian work experience". Their ethics are a little different from what we have here in Nigeria.
Its better you learn it and make the mistakes (in student jobs) while in school than to make the mistake in your "serious" job after school.

The stakes are higher as you want to keep your job in order to apply for express entry.

When I was a young, naive teller in the bank, my head cashier dealt with me. I was paying money and because he was elderly I never suspected anything. He was always the last to leave, until one day I decided I would wait to see him conclude his activities for the day and caught him.

It depends on what you want to study. If your desired course requires much of physics and chemistry then do a year of high school. If not I would recommend going straight to college.
