Diamonds were better than the rubys jare! Loved Bassey and Dillish's british accents. ...Melvin was awesome wiv d tricks. Diamonds are more united than the rubys and that kinda showed in the task presentation.

Is it that Biggie specifically wants Bassey / and Dillish out? If he had not made the grave mistake of announcing Dillish as one of those up for eviction (with just two noms that Feza and Cleo also had), then we cud av easily faced either Bassey or Dillish. Biggie sef dey do conspiracy. Mschew! angry

OjaP: Ivy League schools guarantee you atleast 70% success during the interview. That is if you are not 35years old and just going for undergraduate studies or going there for a Masters in Physical Education or Swimming.
Thanks bro...I'm in my early 20s and so age is not a problem. But is there any other special requirement for these schools? If there is not, I would stick with choosing Cornell University alongside others then.
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part4 by sholay2011(m): 6:34pm On Jul 17, 2013
Pls just want to confirm. Why is it not advisable to apply to ivy league schools? I just discovered one of the schools I picked (Cornell University) is an ivy league school. Should I yank it off my list and look for another?

Kslib: Why should you guys vote for dillish via other countries? I thought that was for bassey..
Will namibia go out of their way for melvin?
Serria leone will not go out of their way for melvin but bassey surviving will do us more good than dillish cos of the ongoing anti-west african plan going on..
Bassey has stayed in the ruby house and knows about some people there.. He had a reason for nominating oneal and if he wins HOH again,i see him putting up oneal..
Well, your name is @sholay, so i can see that theres is no need asking you not to root for dillish via other countries ...
I know you'll vote for dillish when she's up against Melvin!! Lol

Sexily Endowed: Where have you been. Zambians are voting for Angelo. There was a big thing between zim/zam so all over fb they are voting for Angelo. Angelo may end up staying with 4 country votes. If Uganda can go for Bassey and Angola can go for Dillish. If Annabel and Angelo have two country votes each then they are going home.
Thanks for ur analysis jare. Mr spade, we re nt just voting using NIGERIA for Dillish. ...some of us are rigging other countries for her! So you can keep doing your own thing but not everyone agrees to that plan. Is that taken? undecided Bassey is dispensable now...he shud go if push comes to shove.
LiteratureRe: Chimamanda Adichie Wins American Prize by sholay2011(m): 10:13pm On Jul 16, 2013
Ironically, this same book was 'washed' as 'not-good-enough' and trashy at another thread today by 'those' who really know african literature. ..smh
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by sholay2011(m): 9:25pm On Jul 16, 2013
@spade....But isn't it wrong that Bassey mentioned her name when he is not sure of whether she agreed to the plan or not?! It's just lyk Kslib rushing here to say Bassey actually mentioned Melvin even though he isn't sure. undecided

And to think this would create a crack in the friendship of the solidly bonded trio: Mel, Bev and Dillish is vexing.

Spade, you always sound bitter whenever I read ur comment as regards Dillish. Smh. Grow a heart and be more objective!

And why is Bassey telling Beverly NOW?! That shud be a source of concern to us. Why not when things were 'boiling'? Is he trying to prepare a next week free of the fear of nominations fo himself (assuming he escapes eviction.)? Is he trying to make everyone see him in good light? We can't tell. I repeat again, Bassey is dangerous!

Spade....call it unobjectivity but I'm being analytical here.

TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by sholay2011(m): 8:59pm On Jul 16, 2013
Omolola1: He said annabel, dilish, nando wants to nominate her (beverly) because she has never been up. I meant u heard the wrong name. Melvin wasn't mentioned in dat convo. I don't know what brought about the conversation though.
Let me follow ur explanation that he mentioned Nando, not Melvin. Not to sound unobjective, I want to assume he is referring to the anti-naija plan spearheaded by Hakeed befor he left. These are my questions:

How did he confirm that Dillish agreed to the plan?
Why is he telling Beverly and not with Melvin?
Why is he just saying it now?

He even mentioned in his diary session dat he is sure bimp swapped him. This guy has a motive we still don't know. I duff my hat for his intelligence, but I don't want us to be caught off guard when Mr Bassey unleashes anoda side of him later on.

And this is a fact: Dillish would surely nominate him before Beverly!

Omolola1: He didn't mention Melvin, u heard the wrong thing
Either he mentioned Melvin or not is unimportant. ..but did he say that? undecided

Bassey is a bubbly person who I like but uses his entertaining nature to overshadow his very calculative person. In short, he is not to be trusted. At least, Bev saw smth to have nominated him and not Dillish. ..or even Nando.
